The Republican Party Suicide Watch Thread Every time I think of the Republican Party now, this goes through my head. O Fortuna, Carmina Burana. They're going down in flames. My favorite album...

The choir is darkly ominous........
Perfect ambience for what is going down.

for those of you who are not hateful and totally distrustful of polls....
Trump's approval is within 1% of a 2 year low, now- down a couple % from a month ago. his disapproval is within 2% of a 2 year high. it is not going up as fast as his approval is falling.
this means that those that disapprove of him are generally disapproving, and those that approve of him are generally approving- but the latter are moving from decidedly approving to undecided.
it is very little movement so far. but it does not appear to be a statistical anomaly. for example, the Rasmussen Poll (notoriously shitty), has gone from +1 to -7 in that time.
most of the other polling is SLOWER, so it is possible that these numbers will continue to drop as more pollsters survey it.
stay tuned.....

No I was not trolling as you suggest, At this point I have not seen the whistle blowers names, and question the, if any, political motivation to this aggregations. This first picture in the article remind me of politics. has nothing to do with the thread or post though, I though it looked politics though. OC, when there is one person making an accusation it could be politically motivated.
At this point, the original whistleblower was just the snowflake that started the avalanche. Many state department employees have come forward, on the record, to collaborate what the whistleblower said - only these people have first hand knowledge of what happened, so there can be no claims that this is hearsay evidence. And these are long term state department employees or military employees; one of the main ones, Bill Taylor, worked for 5 presidents and was appointed to his current job by Pompeo himself.
So now, you either have to go out to whackadoodle lengths to insist that all these random people are members of the Deep State and are jointly working together to destroy Trump, or you have to accept that Trump did what he did - he assigned a political donor who used to be a hotel magnate and his personal lawyer to manage our diplomatic relations with an important ally in order to squeeze that ally for info about the Bidens and a debunked Ukrainian server plot.
So, there were like 47 people in on the phone call?

... question the, if any, political motivation to this aggregations. ... Let us say that I call police and report my neighbor, claiming that he is running a small time stolen property operation using local teens to break into houses. A patrol car goes by the house and sees stuff being unloaded into a shed that matches items on a hot sheet. The neighbor ends up being arrested. Then word gets out that I wanted to have an affair with the guy's wife and I reported him to get him out of the way. Text message evidence shows this to be true. Based on this, the police release the guy, all his little minions, and no charges are filled. Is that what you think should happen?

It's both hilarious and sad (sad for the American public)....after the way Republicans treated President Obama that they finally win the Whitehouse and get stuck with Donald Trump.

That was an exaggeration on my part , because every day, there seems to be some one else involved in that phone call. Were all of them just listening in on other other phone in other rooms? Where Trump says ,,, get off the line ,, you hear click, click, click, click, click,,, just like the old party lines we had when I was a kid.

How many of the whistle blowers were appointed or hired under Democratic White House control?? Would it really matter if there were 50 million people on that call and they were decedents of Jesus Christ? You'd still be a denier that President Trump was using the US treasury as his campaign funds. Or be okay with it....that is why the Republican party is dead.

Here is a good example, Syria, A short while back, almost every one was screaming about the Kurd's, how they had been abandoned, how all of them were going to die! Russia intervened, and Turkey has backed off, Hmmmm, Wonder if Trump had made so previous call to Putin, making those arrangements? Trump slowing up Cali's over the top regs,, So are all the car manufacturer now producing 1956 Buick emission standards now?? Love Canal right around the corner?? I did notice in previous posts that apparently the EPA is exempt from public scrunatyover the EPA contractor dumping millions of gallons of toxic mine waste into the a large part of America's West drinking water!! Not a word out of you!!

Are you saying that there is NO political motivation here?? Well...yes, yes there was! President Trump was politically motivated to get dirt on his opponent......he used a country with Russia breathing down it's neck and needed our aid. He knew this guy would do anything to get it. Now you are getting it.....Donald Trump used the US treasury money, that is money that you and I paid in taxes, to get dirt on his opponent.
If you need me to draw pictures, let me know.

Trump part is the only political motivation here? Yes, please draw out that diagram, showing that only Trump had "ANY" political motivation. You can get that diagram, form over at the Global Warmers web site, it will already have the lines drawn!!

Do you understand how the presidency works? This isn't like a 1950's housewife who calls the lady down the street and whispers rumors into the phone while her husband is at work. These are official foreign relations exchanges between the heads of countries. Yes, people witness the phone calls. Yes, people listen in. Yes, people make transcripts. What kind of shoddy operation do you think the country is running here?

The whistleblower can come to Canada. We'll give him a parade. I just got back from your lovely country. I was very smitten with Charlottesville on PEI, I'm ready to move there.
Struggled with the Quebec accented French, although if I talked slowly in my redneck accented French they slowed down to where I could understand it a little better (and they could understand me a little better, no doubt).
Poutine was gross, sorry, but had some very nice microbrewed beer along the way. Quebec was awesome. Gaspe had some interesting roads and drivers.
