There is no Republican party anymore. There is only the cult of trump -a cult of racist, ignorant gun huggers. The party that used to champion “family values” now cheers splitting families apart and caging toddlers.

The mewling Republican party; afraid they might anger trump and he will start calling them names and ruin their chance of reelection.

I didn't know where to put this so I'm dumping it here. Breaking news from the Washington Post. I can only see the headlines due to paywall.
Two business associates of Giuliani arrested on campaign finance charges
Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, who routed a large donation to a pro-Trump super PAC, are accused of taking part in a plan to funnel foreign money to candidates for federal and state office. The indictment also charges that Fruman and Parnas schemed to donate money to an unidentified U.S. congressman, at the same time they were asking that congressman to get the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine removed from her job.

I saw that and I was wondering how it came to pass - isn't that federal election commission short one person to take any action on election fraud b/c Trump has not appointed anyone to the commission since he was elected?

I think when/if election laws are broken, people can still be arrested. But the Election Commission cannot make new laws, or work on any appeals, etc. until they have a 4th member.

"I mean, basically the thrust of it is that there are some kind of constitutional obligations that the House has failed to meet that therefore render its impeachment inquiry illegitimate and unconstitutional, which is complete nonsense, because all the constitution says is that the House has the sole power over impeachment.
Conway continued that the Trump administration's refusal to cooperate with the impeachment inquiry and to comply with congressional subpoenas is impeachable www.newsweek.com/george-conway-trump-impeachment-cipollone-white-house-letter-1464327

How many times have we had anonymous sources claim that Trump is sulking, raging, depressed, drooling in the corner, screaming and yelling, ranting and raving-- and yet we have no evidence of it. When you think about it objectively, to believe that Trump is crazy or unstable or any of this-- you would have to believe that he's normal every time he appears in public, and that the only evidence Trump is any different in private is based on the reports of anonymous sources. Sorry- but I'm not buying that.

I favor impeachment- beginning with a vote of the full United States House of Representatives to begin an impeachment inquiry. I favor it because I want everyone ON RECORD prior to 2020.

You don't always get what you want....just like DT is learning...as he rants/raves when he out of site of the cameras! There have been enough reports whether they were anonymous or not, plus the picture of where he threw a folder full of papers at a wall, etc.!

It is really sad to see so many people willing to overturn an election and remove a president from office based entirely on an anonymous complaint from an anonymous government functionary whom they want to testify behind closed doors. Sorry, but that's not how it works. If you want the American people to support President Trump's impeachment and removal from office- you're going to do it right out in the open with a vote of the people's elected representatives.

Where are you getting your info?...maybe try a google search would help you on House rules and the Constitution.

I totally agree that it would be really sad if this were happening. It isn't, but it would be sad. Now here in the real world, any Articles of Impeachment will have to pass a public vote and if passed will result in a public trial and vote.

The two pals of Rudy Giuliani who were just arrested on campaign finance charges as they tried to flee the country on the morning of their deposition before the House’s impeachment inquiry were also —surprise! — pictured with a whole swath of Trump lackeys and key GOP figures.
Lol! Sounds about right. Scum, every last one of them.

Of course trump does. The two were arrested at Dulles airport with one-way tickets out of the U.S. Trump distances himself from indicted Giuliani associates President Trump said Thursday that he doesn’t know the two business associates of his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani who were arrested on campaign finance charges, but acknowledged he may have been photographed with them at some point. “I don’t know those gentleman. Now, it’s possible I have a picture with them because I have a picture with everybody,” Trump told reporters on the South Lawn of the White House. “I don’t know them, I don’t know about them, I don’t know what they do,” Trump added. “I don’t know, maybe they were clients of Rudy’s. You’d have to ask Rudy.” A photograph of Trump smiling with Giuliani and the businessmen, Igor Fruman and Lev Parnas, has been published by various news outlets. Giuliani himself will probably try to leave the country, to the United Kingdom. After all, he was knighted by the Queen.
