Ouch chapeau I'm sorry. I bought new underwear yesterday, and one pair of sweatpants. I'll eventually buy a second pair of sweatpants. Today I bought myself a new parka from H&M, online, 30% off. My current parka is both too big and rather worn.

I bought some candy to use in making cookies. We also got the newest cards against humanity expansion and two small packs. I paid with a target gift card I bought when they were 10% off.

I bought Lucy Cat a soft sided carrier. I want one of those. Maybe getting Sushi in it won't require a Seal Team.

I didn’t buy myself anything after Christmas. But when I was Christmas shopping I got 3 pairs of yoga pants, underwear, and bras.

Today I bought us $453+ worth of blood tests, urinalysis, physical exam, special diet, and assorted meds including antibiotics, anti-inflammatory and yes, anti-anxiety pills, for our cat who has Idiopathic Sterile Cystitis, a fancy term for has no bacteria in his urine but his bladder is highly inflamed causing him to think he has to pee every five minutes. The new food is $50 a month, the chill out pills will be about $20 a month. Treatment of my fingers after pilling that damn cat, priceless. DH holds him but has to steer clear of the action so to speak b/c he's on blood thinners and can't risk a stray tooth or claw. It took two vet techs to get his rectal temp (the cat, not DH) because he clinches his butt so tight they can't get the thermometer in.

Changed my mind on the Ina Garten cookbook. Wasn't impressed and at $35 way overpriced.
I did get the Harry Potter cookbook. It's cute and actually has some recipes I want to try.
Instead of the other cookbook I got a new wallet, an elephant sweatshirt and yin yang earrings that remind me of one of the first pairs I ever owned.

I broke an old-fashioned mercury thermometer trying to get it in his butt. Mercury in a ball on the floor and the cat took off. I had no idea I shouldn't handle the mercury.

I did buy a sound bar for our new television, makes listening better.
I'm watching the Andromeda series tonight and hubs came in to watch it with me. It's on roku tv. I had just seen some of these when on. Seems like something always interrupted them, so a whole new series to watch. He has gotten all interested, first thing I've found he likes. It a Rodenberry series so good show.

I promised both sets of parents I would buy a car after the holidays, but I really don't want to spend the money or deal with the hassle. I have currently promised it will be in late January, after I get back from my trip, but everyone keeps reminding me that I said I would buy one at the end of this year, and they all know I am trying to come up with another stalling tactic.

Apparently a new laptop. Mine has been cycling between the blue screen of death and a locked home screen for hours. It's almost 6 years old and has been acting wonky for a while now but I think this is the legit death of it.

DH went to Walmart the other day and the holiday candy was 1/2 priced. He bought himself two boxes of chocolate covered cherries. That's pretty much all of our post-Christmas buying.

I bought an essential oils diffuser that I like. I found another pair of Levi jeans at TJ Maxx for $15, so that was good. And today hubs got ceiling tile for my sewing room in the basement so that is exciting. Not sure how long it will take, the room is almost 20 ft long and around 12 wide. That will be nice to have a heated and cooled sewing area with all my supplies in it, the area upstairs wasn't even half that size so wouldn't work. I think we are going to just paint the outside concrete wall, it had a form that makes the wall look like bricks. Hubs said he would drywall it, but a lot of the tubing for the geothermal system goes through the wall in there and I don't really think it needs closed up. We are going to measure the temperature of it before we decide.
But that's about it about $400, he has to get a few 1 X 4's yet.

I think I'm getting a new dryer. Ours is almost 20 years old and decided to stop drying clothed. They tumble but no heat.

Probably just needs a new heating element.
I ordered DD one of those ear cleaning systems you can attach to your computer and see what you are doing internally. Also the spray bottle setup like the doctors office has. Since we lost our doc and will just have a nurse practitioner thought I would try this myself. I need to find another but not sure who will take her, have to start looking.
I spent about $58.

Bluetooth ear buds, so I can listen to podcasts when I walk in the morning, and I also want to buy an anti-aging face moisturizer. Can anyone recommend one that works? So many to choose from. I currently use the regular OlaY or Aveda, but want/need something better. Makeup, Este Lauder Doublewear, or Cliniqe Repairwear Laser Focus
Moisturizer, Repairwear uplifting firming Cream
I don't like trying new makeup products, my skin is very sensitive. I tried the Doublewear b/c DD was using it and it was on super clearance price at Boston Store at their going out of business sale. I figured if I did not like it, I could give it to DD. I do not have any issues with it and the two products are similar.
I had Kohl's cash to spend $25 and a return credit of $50. I bought workout clothes. Addidas Soccer Pants, and a track jacket (they don't match, so I am having a dilemma if I will keep, b/c My New Year's decluttering goal. DS gave me Capri workout pants from Target, that I liked, and I found a track jacket online that matches, so I ordered that too. Hence my dilemma. I tossed one pair of Yoga pants in the Goodwill box but I bought 4 things. I like to start out in the Gym with a jacket on b/c it can be Cold in there until I am warmed up. Also, when I do the occasional Yoga class it is warm up and the cool down/meditation part where the room gets cold.
I want to exchange a workout bra I bought at VS for a navy blue one (to go with new pants DS bought), I got a really good deal b/c I had $30 Pink Rewards and 25-30 off $100 purchase coupon, and the lady gave me the online price. I think I have a $15 birthday reward from WHBM, I forgot to look for it. and I have one from Loft.
I don't think I need anything, so it is not really important.

Okay, it looks like I'll be getting a new computer ($629) plus new Microsoft Office and Quicken, Plus the tech guy to set it up. Hardware hasn't gone up much since the last time, but the new software gave me sticker shock. Oh well, at least things will work more often than not. And I've got over a $1,000 in rewards on my CC which will cover most of it.

It's way cheaper and if it's good enough for the billion dollar a year company I work for, it's good enough for what I need.

Probably a root canal. Currently in throbbing pain. Knew I needed one but have been irrationally avoiding it. Don’t currently have a dentist so hopefully I can self refer to an endodontist. 😖 I have a fairly local dentist I can recommend. Got one done on the 28th...4 more scheduled. Don't recommend growing up poor without fluoridated water.
