I need a pair of good work out sneakers. I know they're expensive, but link this brand is phenomenal for support and comfort.

New GE micro that matches what I have in the kitchen now, instead of replacing the micro/ convection for $1700 I'm buying the GE micro total cost $289 including removal a disposing of old one, and install of new one.
Sure ended up better than I thought it was going to be.

With my birthday and christmas money I'm getting the new Ina Garten cookbook and unofficial harry potter cookbook. Will you have to get dressed up and wear makeup like this to make Harry Potter recipes? How did you get my Christmas card photo?

Charming charlies should have 70% off clearance beg of jan. Makes most pieces of their jewelry $3-5 so I stock up for myself. Wondering if I can get DD10 to shop ahead for her friends bday presents.

No,I don't. Which exact product do you like? I started this one about a month ago. Dermatologist recommended it. I was using actual prescription Retin-A, but my face was literally peeling off with that strong of medication.

Probably a root canal. Currently in throbbing pain. Knew I needed one but have been irrationally avoiding it. Don’t currently have a dentist so hopefully I can self refer to an endodontist. 😖 I'm sorry. That sucks. I won't feel so bad about using my gift to pay for my phone. (Decided on that after posting here.)

Good to know for myself. Granted, I have too many earrings now but you never know what strikes my fancy. 😉

Ooooh! I love skin care! I'm 37. I swear by a glycolic acid for gentle, daily exfoliation (for me, I don't have particularly sensitive skin). I use Mario Badescu glycolic acid face wash and rotate with a gentle skin cleanser on days I don't use it. I also use No.7 microdermabrasion polish once a week. I use Olay Regenerist serum, Belif bergamot herbal toner, and Belif Aqua Bomb moisturizer. I'm also super into hair and makeup if you want to talk about that! So do I. When Ulta has their 20% off sale on prestige skin care stuff, I buy 3 tubes of Murad, and 6 bottles of the face wash. This lasts me a year. It is also about a $200 purchase. You should watch murads website. A while back I got their acne cleanser BOGO. Also got it 50% off at ulta during one of their beauty steal things. Pretty sure I've gotten emails a few times since then that murad website had stuff 30% off.

Food processor. Anyone have any recommendations? Just as an FYI, I’m not a major cook/baker so some of the bells and whistles may get lost on me. So my old one broke where you had to hold a few spots to make it run. I have a kitchenaid and bought an attachment that shreds and slices. Works great if you have a kitchenaid and need those features of the processor.

Alright, I checked out some reviews for the glycolic toner. I don't think my skin can handle it any more (now that it is old and dry, though still oily, if that makes sense). I'd love to find something to do what it says it will do, but I'm getting extremely dry, red and irritated from the gentlest of cleansers. Most moisturizers will cause me to break out. My skin is seriously fucked. It's in a state of uneasy truce at the moment. I use bio oil to soothe it after my evening showers, and wash that off with micelar cleansing water before I hit the sack. If I forget, I will break out overnight. I wash my face in the morning, and cover it with bb cream. I also use a little Neutrogena salicylic acid foundation, mostly on my T zone.

I read somewhere that over 40, as long as you clean your makeup off at night, there’s no need to wash again I’m the morning. Strips too many oils. That said, I’m strictly a ponds cold cream at night, plus Olay sensitive skin with sunscreen every day. I try to use a clay mask about once a week, but it’s more like once a month if I’m lucky. Pretty sure the gray highlights make me look older than my skin does. I think.

I've had shitty skin since I was 10. It was so oily and acne-prone, I sought out products that would dry it out. Now I just want something to soothe it without resulting in breakouts. Going to the dermatologist was just a big, expensive fail. I can do trial and error on my own without an accompanying copay, tyvm.

I have both the regular size and a mini one , both from Cuisinart , and on average , use the mini more . And I do cook and bake regularly , though I prefer baking over cooking .

New socks and some foundation from Pur. I love their foundation (can’t remember the name, but it’s Barely There or something like that). I’m almost out of foundation and need to order while it’s 30% off.

Need is a strong word. Want is more like it. I’ve been watching too many cooking/baking shows most likely. I had a mini one that I really liked ($5 special from Home Depot Black Friday many years ago) and kept until the lid broke. Mini would probably be better suited for us but the larger ones look cool too! 😉

I’m not complaining either. At some point though I’m going to buy these types of socks that go with my ballet flats. bombas.comMy son got me some of the Bombas socks for Christmas. He knows I'm like the Princess and the Pea with socks - can't ever find comfy socks because the seams bunch or rub and drive me insane all day long. I spend a good portion of the time I'm wearing sneakers and socks wiggling my toes to move the sock seams away. I tried wearing the Bombas socks today for the first time and they seemed good. Was a little worried because they aren't totally seamless, but the seam is small and only on top, seemed good. I'm cautiously hopeful these could be good.

They’re made for diabetics so they’re seamless and super soft.

I have a Cuisinart mini prep and love it. It doesn’t do everything the big ones do, but I use it a lot.

I'm pretty sure in a previous life I was a horrible, awful, evil serial killer that flayed victims because karma has blessed me with super sensitive skin that seems to be constantly trying to escape from my body. Guess by now I've made the modifications to life that seem reasonable and am just used to the remaining stuff just sort of being in various states of annoying/irritating. Was watching Naked and Afraid the other night and pretty sure just watching it gave me hives. Even the stupid stuff in the beginning before they even get into the wilderness. Like when they first get out of the vehicle and strip off their clothes - must be super nice to take everything off and not have weird marks all over from your clothes or things you've brushed against in the store. Even with wearing the most comfy stuff I can find, if I were to strip down right now it would be a couple of hours before the red marks or indents where a seam touched went away. When I'm older and no longer GAF about appearance at all I'm going to wear some sort of loose flowy muu muu type thing that only touches at the shoulders.

I used to have a large food processor. I thought I still did. Can’t for the life of me find it though. I made cauliflower fried rice for dinner tonight and wanted my food processor for the cauliflower. I realize if I got the mini I would have to do smaller batches, but that might be preferable to lugging around a larger processor if it works just as well on smaller portions.

No seams touching your skin that way.

It doesn’t have all the different blades the bigger ones have (at least the one I have doesn’t). It basically chops things and mixes, but that’s all I really need it for.

Well, I got myself a haircut and bottle of expensive conditioner from the salon last night. That's like a once or twice a year deal for me. I figured that would be it for the spending on myself, but my jeans finally wore through in the inner thigh, so I guess I'll be getting a new pair of those sometime soon (I only have two pair and I rotate between then pretty much every day). Otherwise nothing. I can't say as I really want anything anyhow.
