this is what the Birthers should be saying, and they should be fighting tooth and nail to have him striken from the ballot.
his legal standing is FLIMSIER than Obama's. not only did he not have TWO parents that were US citizens, he was not even born in the US. therefore, if Obama was not qualified on that basis, then Cruz is even less qualified.
where is the outcry? or were those on the left right when they claimed that this was primarily motivated by racism?

That's right! He was born in Canada! It's part of our plot to take over!

Cruz is just there as a target for the left to open fire on. Don't waste all your ammo on this guy who has no chance of winning a primary in his own party let alone a general.

Well, Cruz is white and from a nice country like Canada, so it isn't the same thing at all as being black and from a Muslim African country, where all the residents are indoctrinated into wanting to take over the US and bring it to ruin. So not nearly as scary.

Obama. Really? I have heard from very reliable conservative sources who MUST remain anonymous that Obama was born in North Korea and Kim Sung-ae, the second wife of North Korea's founder, Kim Il-sung, was the midwife during Barack's delivery by Ann Dunham in a birthing pool. This explains Obama's attraction to Hawaii and swimming in the ocean. I suppose I must include the following:

I also heard him on one of the talking head shows this morning telling the interviewer that since his wife quit her job, their family health insurance would be covered by Obamacare! That should be his political death knell right there.

Hawaii, the Muslim African country close to home.

I would not worry about Cruz. His campaign is going to go nowhere-too extreme and only of interest to the very far right. He will though provide plenty of entertainment this primary season.

If he was a viable candidate I'd look into it. But I'm sure he's figured out how to cover it up, too.

It's common knowledge that Rafael was born in Canada and has a Cuban father. He is also a secret Muslim.

So....
Within two minutes, I read this post, did a quick search to remind myself of the reference, and while reading that heard the phrase "Manchurian candidate" on Criminal Minds. Coincidence? I don't think so. (Cue Twilight Zone theme.)

Why should right wing conservatives be upset? They lost that argument on the commie, non-American Muslim candidate, so it must be ok now. Can't beat em, join em! I know posters will not take this as sarcasm, but just sayin Besides, dj is just trying to get a rise out of posters who are no longer here.......

Well, for the record, I never bought into the bith nonsense with Obama. From what I've read, mr. Cruz is also an American, so it also is not an issue.
To me, the law states you must be a U.S. citizen by birth and not obtain citizenship later in life.

I've been waiting for this thread. I'm also waiting for some of the birthers whose panties were all in a wad about Obama to explain why their argument doesn't apply to Cruz.

How come I understand the rules of dual citizenship better than he did? I'm not that big of a Mike Meyer fan.
