What a peckerhead! Cruz terrifies a three year old by telling him his world is on fire.

He looks, sounds and acts like Mr. Haney from the TV show, Green Acres. Mr. Haney (given name Eustace Charleston Haney)[1] is a local farmer turned salesman and con man in the rural Hooterville community who was a supporting antagonist character on the 1960s CBS television series Green Acres. So? You can be both smart AND a dick. It's called multi-tasking.

So he is willfully ignorant and stupid. How impressive.
I liked this tidbit I saw the other say after he was puking up his bullshit everyman story to the captive audience over at God U.
www.slate.com/blogs/moneybox/2013/09/23/ted_cruz_princeton_conceit_sad_sad_sad_stuff.html
The elite academic circles that Cruz was now traveling in began to rub off. As a law student at Harvard, he refused to study with anyone who hadn't been an undergrad at Harvard, Princeton, or Yale. Says Damon Watson, one of Cruz's law-school roommates: "He said he didn't want anybody from 'minor Ivies' like Penn or Brown."
Please Canada recall this asshole- we don't want him.

BTW law school doesn't require 'raw brain power'- anyone with analytical skills can get through it. Dershowitz isn't any smarter than the average car salesman.
It's probably the easiest post-graduate degree out there- and the most expensive. 3 years and done. What I learned from actually going to law school is that is full of people that think they are a lot smarter than they actually are and like to tell people about it- they love to talk. A lot of elitism- and no wonder congress is full of them.
In fact in my first year- I had an instructor say so much- that the law is not inherently difficult, versus something like advanced math. All it takes is a lot of reading. But I will say law school is a hell of a lot of it- it isn't the difficulty, it is the sheer volume.

@hickle from what I've seen of Ted Cruz he is an extreme conservative, anti abortion, anti gay marriage/parades etc, does not believe in climate change, against initiatives to protect the environment, pro guns, against Obamacare. He is for expanding the military. Basically opposite of most things I believe.

How good or bad the patriot act is, is a viewpoint. from the viewpoint of a civil libertarian, it is objectively horrible. You say objectively horrible, still just a viewpoint. There are plenty out there that view the ACA the same way.

I was never unhappy. Me thinks you take this forum/discussion a wee bit too seriously. My only claim about the ACA is indifference. I was only using the ACA as a viewpoint example. It did get your attention didn't it. At my asset level, I worry about medical costs like you worry about the price of a hamburger at McDonalds.

If I were to criticize Hillary because she looks old and worn out, I would be criticized here for being stupid as her looks have nothing to do with her abilities. It is hypocritical that liberals are okay with mocking the looks of people they do not like, yet would criticize others who do the same.
I am starting to think that many liberals here are not very liberal minded.

Health cost concerns are only for the little people Dahling........ We all occupy different rungs on the wealth ladder of success. I found working to be successful, was a better outcome than playing the victim while waiting for the next handout. Each to his own I guess.
