You cannot prove or disprove the existence of God.

Of course God exists....as long as people believe, He exists.
I personally don't believe God created man, I believe man created God to have something to believe in. Flame away. That is all I will say on this topic.

Now it is such a bizarrely improbably coincidence that anything so mindbogglingly useful [the Babel fish] could have evolved by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as a final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God. The argument goes something like this: "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED" "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and promptly vanishes in a puff of logic. -- Douglas Adams, The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy (book one of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy series), p 50

the more i am aware of my existence the more i feel the presence of GOD ........it is very satisfying as my gratitude grows along with my confidence that all will be just fine with every one of HIS creation..........as i reflect upon my past and ponder on my future i continue to enjoy my present....

I read some where that we are really in Hell but don't realize it. The trials and tribulations of hell are not flame, demons or pitch forks but the uncertainty..the feeling and doing of good always over shadowed by what humans face every day in the real world of life...the wars, hunger , disease, possible Armageddon, and the uncounted other problems always there waiting.. heaven has none of that, just smooth sailing for eternity..but here....
I know doesn't answere your question but figured would tackle this one first..easier one to handle for me..the other...whew

I not only believe there is a god but also a master plan. If you look at any thing it is very specific in it's purpose and way of doing things, you can ride a horse but not milk one, get milk from a goat but impossible to ride. I think it is highly, highly improbable or impossible for thing to be so exact and specific with out a plan and a hand. That being said I do not that there is a heaven or a hell just the end.

How do you believe one gets to heaven, suz? Exactly the way it says in the Bible - 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. I believe you get to heaven simply by your belief in Jesus Christ as he was sacrificed for our sin. But I also think that you should be an example of your belief in Him while you are on earth. I had a friend who was a non-Christian tell me once that she really liked being around Christians because they are so nice. I think that is the beginning of letting your light shine and allowing other people to know what Christianity is about. Could you have a chat with some of those Christians who say that "God hates homosexuals" and dead soldiers are God's revenge for whatever and various other hateful things. mmOkay, thanks.

<<< Does God exist? Since every other topic has been covered, thought i would throw that in the ring. >>> ...well, we sure have been Monday-morning-quarterbacking the guy since way before the metaphor came into being... so it seems apparent that the existence of God is pretty vital to our existence... ...so let's first discuss whether He'd make a good football player... ;D

...well, if hoops is God and likewise omnipresent/infinite/etc., then why would he need to await anything? While capable of being everywhere, in every time, at once...I am lazy. In fact I named "sloth" as one of the 7 deadly sins specifically to throw people off the trail of my extreme laziness. Likewise gluttony, I'm a pig...actually most of the 7 deadly sins were conceived in such a way. It's kind of like how the extremists scream about how they hate gay people so much, and a month later they're caught in a motel room with their secret boyfriend.

...well, if hoops is God, but has to "trick us" into thinking he's not to "hide it" or whatever, then that demonstrates that he thinks we're more powerful than his omnipotense... I mean, even the guy in the Shadow could brainwash NYC... and we was just a guy...
