Thing 1 couldn't use Luvs, but they were cheaper. We just used Pampers with both girls rather than try to experiment with other brands.

I always used Pampers and Luvs. Huggies always leaked for me, though my brother swears by them. Let's see - Chloe's front teeth are fine - just a little triangle out of each. What's the photo site we use now? I could post a picture - just a triangle missing from each one where the front teeth meet. Potty training is going fairly well - she didn't have any accidents all weekend in her pull-ups. But she can't make it through nap time (usually 2.5 hours) or bedtime without peeing (sometimes pooping in the morning). I don't care about that so much since she's young. She is telling me when she needs to go, and that's all I want! Kids are at bible school this week that our daycare provider helps to put on - last year I laughed so hard I cried during one of the songs. I can't wait for this year's performance! It's on Sunday at 11 AM. Unfortunate because I have a race that will take me two hours and it starts at 8. So I have to go, run 9.3 miles through muddy, buggy trails, come home (thankfully only two miles away), shower and rush off to the performance! Almost one month until Harper starts K4. Wahhhhhhh! We have three meetings to do before then - one just parents, one parents and kids, and one whole morning for a mock K4 day. Oh and Harper totally has a 4-year-old attitude now. She had been doing well the past couple of months, but she must be growing (mentally) again because she's been a terror! Edited to Add - Oh ya, the other morning Harper came up and was watching cartoons in bed while I tried to make it to 7am before fully waking up. All of a sudden I hear "What are you doing up here?!" And there's Chloe crawling into bed. DH wasn't at home. She crawled out of her crib, opened her door, walked across the living room, climbed the stairs, and came into our bedroom. Harper stayed in the crib and never crawled out! I didn't switch her to a toddler bed until she was 3!!!! I need Chloe to stay contained longer - I can't deal with putting two kids back into their beds 47 times before they go to sleep!

Thank you everyone...
Carlie is back home feeling a bit better. The rash has disappeared because DW put A&D ointment on it. The doctor recommended some hydrocortisone for the itching.
Her well visit is next week 7/31. She asked if we changed anything, we did not. Diet was the same... but she is growing 4 teeth that may explain her crabbiness!
I am at work but Lord I am tired; between 14 days straight at work with no days off, side business and then trying to juggle everything else. I am beat!
As my mom said it feels like I am burning the candle on both sides and my family and my body are paying the price!

I'm glad Carlie is okay, I hope she keeps improving and the teeth don't bother her much. << HUGS >> to you!

I did not even think about the detergent. We are switching from pampers cruisers to pampers pure... have 1 unopened box I need to return to Walmart. She woke up a little while ago a bit fussy and crying, but rocked her back to sleep. Feel bad for my DW too, don’t think she is getting much sleep tonight... when C is sick she wants her mama, grandma and dada are only good substitute if mama is not here. As long mama is here she will scream her lungs out till she is with mama. Most kids just want their mom when they're sick. Don't take it personal. Thing 1's skin has been problematic since she was a baby. Sometimes it seems like anything will set it off and she'll either break out in a rash or full on hives. We always had all kinds of creams, lotions, and antihistamines in the house. Look at anything that has changed. Soaps, lotions, detergents, fabrics, shampoos, etc. It might be something small that is making her skin unhappy. . As a matter of fact, since I used to sleep like a log when I was younger, at night the kids would almost always call for papa. However, if they called for mama it was a sure thing (like 100% sure) that they were sick...

Wow I missed a lot. Sam, just again more hugs and kudos for putting up with everything so well - and Drama congrats on the new job! Who had the kid who puked in the car, was that chen35 ? Yuck, I feel you, Ant puked in the car on the way home from Jersey on Wednesday and I felt so bad. :/ I was more sad for him than grossed out, because it didn't smell that bad (it was only munchkins and water ). He was all sad being changed and cleaned in a gas station parking lot, poor guy. Carl, kids are all different with that social aspect stuff. My best friend's 3yo couldn't care less about other kids and has just stared to take an interest in actually interacting with Anthony, and Ant on the other hand is super interested in other kids and babies ("bayday!") and makes friends anywhere we go. He held a little girl's hand at Friendly's last week and waved at her the whole time we were there. Just keep her around other kids to get used to it and I'm sure she'll get there when she wants to and can! She's still a little young to care about other kids too.

I heard him say he likes her hair out better than in a ponytail. They were joined at the hip until the event was over. As we left she asked DS if he was going to a kids' program tomorrow. I recall reading about that program and it was for kids older than he is. I figured as much - he is forever befriending older kids. But they seemed to really like each other. Like he recalled something she said to him 30 mins before. Meanwhile he forgets things I tell him 5 mins later, lol!

All 3 of my kids got horrible diaper rashes right before they would get a tooth. Some people say it is not related, but I had evidence!

Oh no worries, I flaked and didn't go visit any friends on this trip, as usual! I never have the time and feel kinda cringey about telling SIL "hey we never see you but I'm taking a day to go visit some friends, see ya..." someday I will though, we never see our friends in Levittown and I would love to meet up w/ you! A would love the blanket if you want to send it, I really appreciate it!

I swear I am the only one not allowed to be annoyed or frustrated in this house . I feel like just laying on the couch and taking a nap. DH and I are suppose to be playing a game together, he had to go up stairs and get the Wii Switch..... That was about 20 mins ago. But as soon as I start something else then it will be I don't want to do something with him.

But I could be projecting a bit since my DH does that all the time. It drives me nuts.

Rough day.
Our big old lab has been "off" for a couple weeks, and cut his ear last night, was diagnosed at the vet with liver cancer (unrelated to the ear, just a fluke coincidence) and we put him to sleep today.
I'm struggling with a lot of guilt over how much attention we didn't give him after the girls came.
He was a good boy.

Hugs Pants. That is always tough. I know our critters lives changed drastically after we had kids. No matter how much you say it won't happen...your new reality hits and I really can't imagine how it wouldn't change.
