Dominique Strauss-Kahn feared that one of his political opponents would pay a woman more than $1million to say he raped her, it emerged today. The extraordinary revelation emerged in Paris as the International Monetary Fund head remained in a New York police cell accused of launching a sex attack on a hotel maid. A writer in the French capital has also come forward to say that the 62-year-old attempted to rape her a decade ago. But as Strauss-Kahn faced a 15-year prison sentence - which would signify the end of his ambition to become French president next year - conspiracy theories abounded. Liberation, the left-wing daily newspaper, published details on off-the-record comments made by Strauss-Kahn as recently as April 28th. Discussing his plans to challenge Nicolas Sarkozy as Socialist candidate for the presidency in 2012, he said he imagined ‘a woman who had been raped in a car park and who was offered between €500,000 and €1,000,000 to make up such a story.’
Because he was the clear favourite to beat Mr Sarkozy, Strauss-Kahn feared he would be subjected to a smear campaign by the President and his Interior Minister, Glaude Gueant. Such theories were bolstered by the fact that the first person to break the news of Strauss-Kahn’s arrest was an activist in Mr Sarkozy’s UMP party – who apparently knew about the scandal before it happened. Jonathan Pinet, a politics student, tweeted the news just before the New York Police Department made it public, although he said that he simply had a ‘friend’ working at the Sofitel where the attack was said to have happened. The first person to re-tweet Mr Pinet was Arnaud Dassier, a spin doctor who had previously publicised details of multi-millionaire Strauss-Kahn’s luxurious lifestyle in a bid to dent his left wing credentials.
Strauss-Kahn could just as easily been set up by rivals inside the IMF, as well as by rivals within the French political establishment. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1387625/IMF-chief-Dominique-Strauss-Kahn-feared-political-enemy-pay-woman-allege-rape.html#ixzz1MeTl5GH4Whoooo doggy. . . Those Frenchies play hard politics.

Marshabar, it's all going to come out eventually, and I can almost bet it never happened. Just like I believe Clinton was set up by Monica Bloenski.
For me, Bloenski giving oral to the pres is not a big deal, but saving the dress in a sealed bag under her bed with semen on it makes you wonder what she and others were up to.
I think the same in this case. The story keeps changing too much to be a reliable one, and I still don't understand why there are no scratches or bite marks on him if she was actually fighting him off.
Big pay off for her. She had a key to his room, she could have put blood on the bed, but her story said he dragged her into the bathroom of the bedroom. So how did the blood get on the be?
Then afterward, she reposts it to the hotel security, then they let him walk out the front door of the hotel where he had lunch with his daughter at a restaurant where the restaurant confirmed that he was there with his daughter.
I'm interested to know if he had left the hotel before she made up this story and put blood on the bed. I don't think any hotel security would have let him leave if he did indeed physically attack her as she is claiming.

Tripp didn't know about the dress until Bloenski told her what had happened. Good ole political girl talk on how to bring the pres down and make big bucks off it at the same time. Lewenski wasn't the victim, she knew exactly what she was doing in saving and sealing up that dress. Tripp just gave her a little guidance.

They got evidence from the floor, also, where she says he threw her. Her knees are seriously bruised. I'm not thinking she volunteered to intentionally risk possibly breaking any bones. Sure the cameras outside the room confirm that no one else was in that room. To suggest she let someone else assault her... maybe a slap on the face, some finger marks on the arms, but to let someone SLAM her to her knees that hard?? Her personal history with the company does not suggest in any way that she is a shady lady.

lol Marshabar.
You have to look at all angles not just one. People are like vultures. Some of them wait for the right times to attack their prey as Lewenski and her team did, and as I suspect this woman is doing to this man.
Innocent until proven guilty is the way it's suppose to be here in America, but unfortunately it's not that way any longer.
This is beginning to smell more like a political setup considering these two other women are now coming out of the woodwork to say that they were victims as well.
I just find it quite odd that the security let him leave the hotel after she reported that he raped her. That does not make any sense at all to me. Security guards will detain you in a Walmart store for shoplifting a candy bar, but a rapist, the security just lets him walk out the door.
Also, she lied and didn't go directly to the hotel management or security. She called her brother first and talked with him before reporting it to the hotel management.
Hmmm, not the plot thickens. Rich man, poor woman and brother... oh my.

To suggest she let someone else assault her... maybe a slap on the face, some finger marks on the arms, but to let someone SLAM her to her knees that hard?? Her personal history with the company does not suggest in any way that she is a shady lady. lets see, she's a hotel maid that cleans floors, carpets etc, etc. She gets down on her knees to clean a floor around a bathroom toilet or whatever. So what! I have bruised my kneed when scrubbing floors and doing gardening. She did make the claim he chased her down the hall naked and grabbed her. Where's the tape? As I said, a friend of mine from Chili met up with the wrong girl and she purposely black & blued herself and then filed a police report against him that he did it to her. All because he didn't want a thing to do with that nut case bytch. After the case was dropped against him he went back to Chili and said "fuck America", and I didn't blame him one bit. I even had a sister like that. Actually two. The first one would want to physically fight her husband to try and get him to hit her. She came after him with a knife and he pushed her back into a recliner, she fell back in the recliner, the recliner went backwards and out the picture window with her in it. Neighbors called the cops and they were going to take him to jail until I told them what had happened. The other sister, and I hope she rots in hell, conspired with her daughters to have him locked up all because he filed for divorce and was leaving her. She talked to her daughters and came up with a story that he had been molesting them all for many years. I knew him and I also knew what a piece of shyt sister I had as well. He died in prison for something he never did. The kids weren't even his, they called him dad, and he saw to it that those kids had anything they wanted for christmas and school.

I read the article and I agree with him. I stayed at a hotel once and left with my friends. Forgot something and when I got back to the hotel, two of the hotel maids were going through our things. We called the cops and one of them threw out that my friend had sexually harassed her. LMAO when they learned he was gay. Both women were arrested for taking money and a digital camera (that I forgot) that was in her pocket with my name on the inside of the battery cover. After that, we got our money back from the hotel and a call from the management letting us know that we can stay at another hotel of theirs for free. We accepted the offer and went on our way.

That's more proof that maids can't be trusted...

She's already fumbling the ball. She's changing her story too much and then she's already been caught in one lie. she made the statement that she went directly to the hotel manager and security with her story after the alleged rape attack, but she forgot to tell everyone she called her brother and talked to him before going to hotel management and security.
Then you have them claiming he rushed to leave the hotel, but then he left to have lunch with his daughter, called back the hotel to see if they could check hos room and see if he left his cell phone there.
Doesn't sound like a guilty man on the run to me.

The New York hotel maid allegedly sexually assaulted by the world's top banker is under "extraordinary" trauma and has had her "world turned upside down", her lawyer says.
The 32-year-old maid, who has not been named for legal reasons, accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the head of the International Monetary Fund, of attacking her in a $US3000-a-night room at the Sofitel Hotel in Manhattan on Saturday.
Her lawyer, Jeff Shapiro, told US television network CNN the trauma the 32-year-old woman experienced was "extraordinary".
"This is a person who is a hardworking person who is a single mother and supporting a 15-year-old young woman, and they live together, and she was grateful to have a job, for which she could provide food and shelter for the two of them," Mr Shapiro told CNN.
The maid has not been able to work since Saturday because of the enormous media attention, Mr Shapiro said.
"Since this has occurred, she has not been able to go home. She can't go back to work, and she has no idea what the future is going to be ... Aside from what took place in the hotel room, the trauma that has taken place in her life is extraordinary."
Mr Strauss-Kahn, 62, is being held at Rikers Island, a notorious prison home to accused terrorists and murderers, after being refused bail. He is facing seven charges and could face up to 25 years behind bars.
Mr Strauss-Kahn, who was also a front-runner in France's 2012 presidential elections, was being held there in isolation and has been placed on suicide watch, law enforcement officials told the Associated Press, although they said he had not tried to harm himself. Under suicide watch, a prisoner is monitored 24 hours a day and has to wear a special jumpsuit that prevents them from harming themselves.
Mr Shapiro said the maid was born in Guinea, west Africa and had been granted asylum in the US.
A man who said he was the her brother told Agence France-Presse his sister was a "good Muslim" who did not stop crying after the alleged incident.
"She did not stop crying. I told her, 'don't hurt yourself.' I wanted to get a lawyer for her. I've never heard her like that before. She was completely devastated.
"She didn't know who Dominique Strauss-Kahn was at the time of the incident. I was the one who explained to her," AFP quoted him as saying, adding that his identity and statements could not be independently verified.www.smh.com.au/world/maids-world-turned-upside-down-over-dominique-strausskahns-alleged-sex-assault-20110518-1es5s.html#ixzz1MfQKblbo

Awful that she is from Guinea with the horrific rape problems they have had there. Sickening to think she escaped that world only to have the head of the IMF that is raping her country, rape her here in a 'safe' and beautiful place. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8342778.stm

Whereas most African families live on one dollar per day, Mr. Kahn was soaking in luxury in a lavish $3,000 per night hotel suite. That amount alone, without even one French cigar, croissant or a shot of cognac added to the bill, equals the daily sustenance of 3,000 African families in Guinea today. This is at a time that the IMF is continuing to force African governments to cut programs for the poor through Structural Adjustment Programs and other controversial economic policies such as devaluation of national currencies. Meanwhile, Mr. Strauss-Khan is assembling an all-star defence team to be led by Benjamin Brafman, famously remembered as Michael Jackson's pre-eminent lawyer. He appeared in a New York court today, but his lawyers said he would plead not guilty to charges of a criminal sexual act, attempted rape and unlawful. www.saharareporters.com/news-pag … man-guinea

Yeah- and that $3,000 a night is paid for by the US taxpayers. Let's be honest- it ain't his money. The IMF is the United States. Just like the UN. It's time we reigned in these rogue global slush funds and gave the money back to the US, and the US taxpayer.

My prediction: Before the week is out, Mr. Strauss-Kahn's "non IMF" trip will magically become an IMF trip and he will hide behind diplomatic immunity.

I do think our prosecutors , police, some judges, and prison guards should let the law do the punishing, not take the law into their own hands. Goes for people and other prisoners too. The law is sacred, and is enough. Also, when they serve their time they should not be punished for the rest of their lives. The law is sacred? Since when? Oh....you mean unless that law is The Constitution and it's in the way of something you want government to do...
