He has powerful enemies too. This is a standard modus operandi for Intelligence Organization. It is known as a "honey trap." Business espionage uses this too. Some of the mechanics can be found in the biography of the Ex-Head of the KGB's Biography. www.amazon.com/Spymaster-Thirty-two-Intelligence-Espionage-Against/dp/0465014453Don't forget that he is a leading voice recommending the replacement of the dollar as reserve currency with Special Drawing Rights (SPDRs). Should this occur, it would be devastating to the American economy, causing soaring interest rates and inflation. The CIA has every reason to see shut of him. So you are suggesting a conspiracy theory involving the CIA, to stop the IMF from removing the Dollar as the worlds reserve currency? Now that's funny.

Hi everybody! Say, thought somebody would have brought this up? Quote: May 14,2011 I.M.F. Head Is Arrested and Accused of Sexual Attack The managing director of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, was taken off an Air France plane at Kennedy International Airport minutes before it was to take off for Paris on Saturday and arrested in the sexual attack of a maid at a Midtown Manhattan hotel, the authorities said. Mr. Strauss-Kahn, 62, who was widely expected to become the Socialist candidate for the French presidency, was apprehended by detectives of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in the first class section of the jetliner, and immediately turned over to detectives from the Midtown South Precinct, which covers the part of Manhattan where the hotel is, officials said. The New York Police Department took Mr. Strauss-Kahn into custody, where he was “being questioned in connection with the sexual assault of a hotel chambermaid earlier this afternoon,” Deputy Commissioner Paul J. Browne, the department’s chief spokesman, said Saturday evening. www.nytimes.com/2011/05/15/nyregi....ttack.html?_r=2Well those of you that have gotten to know me,I preach quite often about HONESTY. Once again, those that are in charge of things and as I say, 'NOTHIN' has changed.

www.foxnews.com/us/2011/05/15/arrest-imf-head-throws-institutions-leadership-disarray/U.S. Arrest of IMF Head Throws Institution's Leadership Into Disarray Published May 15, 2011 | The Wall Street Journal NEW YORK -- The arrest of International Monetary Fund (IMF) chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn on sexual assault accusations in New York throws into disarray not only the IMF's leadership but also its central role in the financial rescue of several struggling European nations, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday. Strauss-Kahn, 62, was headed to Europe to discuss the worsening European debt crisis with top leaders there. He was scheduled to meet with German chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday and eurozone finance ministers Monday and Tuesday. Beside putting the finishing touches on the €78 billion ($110 billion) bailout package for Portugal, the main focus of the meetings was set to be how to resolve Greece's deteriorating sovereign debt crisis. The arrest of the head of one of the world's most important financial institutions came at a time when the global economy was still recovering from the 2008 financial crisis -- and while Europe was reeling from a still-unfolding series of government debt crises. The charges, if true, would strike a blow to France's current politics. Strauss-Kahn, a former French finance minister who ran unsuccessfully for the Socialist Party nomination for French president in 2006, was widely expected to resign from the IMF in the coming months to run for the French presidency as a Socialist candidate. He's French, they are horny dudes anyhoo like the Latin men are. They think with one head more than the other.
Maybe they should just hire men at the hotels now.
However, I would like to hear his side of the story before passing judgment. She may be a gold-digger. You never know. Look at the woman that accused all the Lacrosse team players for her 15 minutes of fame.

My daughter-in-law is a beautiful young Mexican American girl. She worked her way up the chain in hotel work starting with housekeeping. Men messed with her all the time. Treated her like a hooker. It happens. It really upset her, and there is a fine line employees have to walk in dealing with rich foreigners in these fancy hotels. She also told me that one of the girls there was rumored to do some "side work" with the hotel guests. It happens. When I was a limo driver at fancy resorts I was offered money for services several times from men or groups of men I took out on the town at night. It is the exception rather than the rule, but can be frustrating for female employees trying to be professional.

Could be. Sure seems like his arrest goes FAR beyond some accusation by a hotel maid...It COULD have happened, or NOT.

Hotels customarily make discrete arrangements for business travelers. This is well-known. Female "entertainment" is frequently provided during business deals and expensed accordingly too. High-end prostitutes often ply their trade complete with fake business names to smooth things out with the IRS and the corporate bluenoses. If he wants sex he purchase it or even barter for it. I am sure there are no end of nepotism arrangements he can make for secretaries who can't type. Someone in his position can collect enemies like trading cards. Between the people who would be ruined if the dollar was unseated, those who are rivals for political power and the intelligence services of countries forced into onerous deals to repay international loans, there are no end of people who would like to put a leash on him. Perhaps an attempt to control him failed and someone decided to strike out. I think you nailed it, tough. I've been told by a politician that no politician rises without skeletons, if a person won't go into compromising situations which leave vulnerabilities they won't be moved higher. It's all about control. I have read that Skull & Bones bases their secrecy upon the same sort of control.

This is a pretty much she said, he said kind of case. He with the money will ultimately have the last word of course.
she may be an opportunist for all we know and made out with him and then filed a claim to cash in knowing that he's loaded with money. Pay up to shut her up.
If there are witnesses, video on what happened, then that would be a different story, but I like to hear both sides before condemning one or the other on what may have or haven't happened in cases such as this.

Are their bite marks on him, scratches showing she tried to fight him off? Did she scream, did other people hear her screaming for help? Has she taken a rape exam? She could have agreed to do whatever with him so she could then file a claim to cash in. Just because she makes the claim, it doesn't mean it happened the way she's telling it. I want to hear what he has to say before judging him or her, but since she filed the claim, then she's the one with the burden of proof.

She's playing with the big dogs here. Kind of a no win situation for her if he really did it. I lean her direction, but God love her, they will tear her to shreds. Just thinking about it makes me hope she is lying.

I just hope she can find four male eyewitnesses to verify her claim. Otherwise, we're going to have to bury her up to her neck and stone her.

Strauss-Kahn has a long history of bad acts with women. 1967: married Hélène Dumas 1984: married Brigitte Guillemette 1991: married Anne Sinclair, star political interviewer of Sept Sur Sept, a programme on top French TV channel TF1. She gave up her post when he became finance minister in 1997. 2007: After he IMF managing director in 2007, Jean Quatremer, a journalist at Libération, wrote: "The only real problem for Strauss-Kahn, is his relation to women. Too forward, he often brushes with harassment. It is a problem known to the media but that nobody talks about (we are in France)." Frederic Lefebvre, an adviser to Nicolas Sarkozy, claimed shortly afterwards in a biography that Mr Strauss-Kahn "wouldn't last a week" if he entered a presidential election, due to the weight of damaging allegations that would emerge. Mr Lefebvre claimed to have seen photographs showing Mr Strauss-Kahn leaving La Chandelle, a popular Parisian wife-swapping club, and said they would be circulated if Mr Strauss-Kahn entered an election. Tristane Banon, a writer, claims she had to fend Mr Strauss-Kahn off with kicks and punches when he invited her to a meeting in a room furnished with a double bed and a television. He said he went at her "like a chimpanzee on heat" during the alleged incident in 2002. Her husband, a Socialist politician, said she spoke to DSK about it and he said: "I don't know what came over me, I lost the plot." 2008: DSK is forced to apologise publicly to IMF employees and his wife for the trouble caused by his affair with Mrs Piroska Nagy, a Hungarian subordinate in the international organisation. The IMF board called it "a serious error of judgment," but ruled he had not abused his position. Mrs Piroska Nagy later declared: "I believe that man has a problem." Aurélie Filipetti, a Socialist MP, told Le Temps that she had once been the object of a "very heavy-handed flirt" by DSK. "I made sure I was not alone with him in a closed room," she said. Danielle Evenou, a French actress and wife of a former Socialist minister, said on French radio: "Who hasn't been cornered by Dominique Strauss-Kahn?" 2010: Release of The Secret of a Presidential Contender, written by a woman hidden under the pseudonym Cassandre, who was said to be one of his female aides. It cites "rumours of multiple extramarital liaisons beyond the one he confessed to with an IMF employee in 2008." In her book, the author writes: "Like all great political animals, he has trouble controlling himself." The French press quote President Nicolas Sarkozy as warning DSK before his Washington appointment, saying: "You know, over there they don't joke about this sort of thing. Your life will be passed under a magnifying glass. Avoid taking the lift alone with interns. France cannot permit a scandal." May 2011: DSK arrested and charged with sexual assault on a New York hotel maid. www.taylormarsh.com/2011/05/16/dominique-strauss-kahns-womanizing-history-protected-by-women-press/
