Virgil, dear - "Fellow" is definitely not a "unisex" word.
It's masculine - plain & simple.
Do you think any of the guys here would be pleased with the label "chick" or "gal"?
Use the word "Member", "Associate", "Contributor", "Alien" ..... anything but "Fellow".

But I have changed it to "Associate" to prevent you from going all snow leopard on me. *sigh* The things I do to keep you happy.

And the Royal Society of Canada was probably founded by a bunch of Fellows.
Instead of Associate Fellow or Distinguished Fellow, (which seemed out of context, and just didn't sound right), it should have been Fellow Associate or Fellow Senior Member, etc. The original rankings were fine though - don't know why you felt they needed "tweaking".

I see Tapatalk for Android users on the top of each board as an option for mobile users like myself (tablet). Anyone using Tapatalk or can Moon give an opinion or recommendation (if any) on using it here?
Thanks.

You might be able to get information there, as well.

They didn't imply rank strongly enough. I'll bet if I listed them all here in a random order, not one out of every ten posters could put them into order. They were my noble first attempt, but they were too cryptic. The new regime should remedy those errors. Their colour scheme is more consistent, the number of stars now increases with higher rank, and the ranks themselves are less cryptic and their relative positions easier to discern.

maybe we should just do away with ranks and stars entirely... geez...
Tennesseer, i know tapatalk is relatively new for PB, so i've not tried it. i have the PB app as is. i didn't see good reviews of the paid version of it, so if you do try it, i'd go with the free one.

Sorry, I just got back home. Yes, I like the rose color better than the other color it was changed to and I love Associate better than Fellow. Thank you!! But I was totally happy with the way it was before. Kind of like when we had V4. <<runs before Moon nukes me>>

Nah - it just didn't need tweeking. But to each his/her own. Makes no differnece to me - execpt the fact that "fellow" should have precluded member/associate/etc. VIrgil had it all backwards.

LOL! I'd never noticed the star colors. I think I knew there were stars, but I'm not even sure of that. Observant, I'm not, apparently!

I'm really bad for everything needing to be matchy, matchy in my Mini Profile and signature. I have to match the Skin I choose.

I'm wishing that just because some OP doesn't like whats posted to their posts that they can't just lock it. It gets old.

It's the individuals right and privilege to lock their own thread if they wish to do so, zib. We're all free to bring whatever we like here (as long as it doesn't break the ToS, or the CoC) and it's only fair we should be able to withdraw it when, and if we wish to do so. It's kinda like having a conversation in the hall at work ... if you don't like what the other person is saying, you're free to walk away and shut off communication. Same is true here.

I saw this morning that the theme skin I've been using *forever* disappeared from my profile (and the Theme menu) overnight.
It was the "Ornaments" one - silver with flecks of color on the ornaments.
I liked it because it made my page very easy to read, and easy on the eyes.
If it was removed to make room for new ones, I think I discussed several months ago, that I'd prefer the "Ornaments" one stay on the theme menu, and the first of the "Scottish Lassie" ones (or both) could be removed if more room was needed on the Theme menu.
(SL sad her nice forum skin is gone).

Sorry, that was my fault. I changed my theme, and noticed all the holiday ones were still active. So I disabled them..I'll fix it when I get home from the dr.
