Now I am wondering if I "like" something, get relegated to "others" status, un-"like" and then "like" again, will I go to the front of the line and have my name appear again. Now I am wondering if I have enough ego to care. Now I am wondering about what to fix for dinner tonight.

I heard a politically incorrect lesbian talking this morning. She said she "left her wife in bed, b---h was like, 'Zzzzzzzing'." Zzzzzzing is snoring sound.

So Garcia on Criminal Minds was asked to find out the histories of the employees of all the local places where cops hang out. Hotch wanted to know if any of the employees had a history of abuse from a dad etc when young. Within about 30 seconds Garcia has a very promising suspect. Did she look at the tax records of those businesses to find out who worked there? Does she have access to juvenile records that are sealed? I dont think it was very realistic.

Complete idiots on CBS this morning. They are talking about how hard it is to braid hair, or managing to get a hair clip to stay in their daughters hair . They are just morons. So one guy started to teach a class in it.

If a guy, or I guess a girl also, wants to look as anonymous as a woman in a burka he can put on a kind of big hoodie and some dark glasses. You still can recognize the person if you know him so not quite the same. Can't really do that in summer without drawing attention so it would be a ball cap and shades.

A bug bit me on the chest today while gardening (why the bug was gardening still confuses me). Missed my third nipple by millimetres!
Perhaps I'll write a book on how I avoided a gruesome, untimely death. When it becomes a movie, I'll have Jason Statham play me. Paul Reubens is my second choice if Jason is busy transporting someone. Anybody: let me know if you'd like to try out to play The Bug, but remember that The Bug did NOT bite any of my nipples. [Uhhhh, don't let Loony know about this opportunity, OK?]
12x12=144 (usually).

If a penis or a vagina does not confer gender, at what age typically can a person's gender be established and how is it established?

They brought in a crane to take down the tower crane at work. It was ~medium size crane. Today they were using a small crane to take apart the medium size that they used to take apart the tower crane.

I am pretty libertarian in my view of what should be allowed and what freedoms people should have. I am all for live and let live. When it comes to things like transgender, I was completely on the side of let transgenders do what they want. I still think that, but have changed my mind to it being more of a mental illness and not a good thing. I still think, let them do what they want.
The topless thread, i am 100% for women having the same right as men with regard to not wearing a top. That said i have very little respect for many of the arguments of those who want that. They just seem to be arguments that don't respect reality of men and women being different.
In so many threads I end up arguing with the conservative side, not because I am conservative, but because I think the other side is terrible and has terrible values.

If a penis or a vagina does not confer gender, at what age typically can a person's gender be established and how is it established? I doubt that tack will get you anywhere, since the word gender has had its definition become iffy today. It's part of the tendency by some to toss out everything that's ever happened in the world as being antiquated, then substituting anything and everything to muddy definitions - and do so stringently and immovably in order to undermine attempts to use language as a tool for understanding. As words become essentially meaningless from their former definitions, some people feel empowered to just make shit up and call it the 'new reality' of language; allowing them to rationalize almost anything they like and reject anything they dislike. It is societal change by making language fuzzy. Read some Noam Chomsky for specific examples.

The kittehs are doing great! They have windows to sit in front of, squirrels and birds to watch, and sunshine to follow around the house. They're lovin' it! Glad to hear Sushi is still being himself! What gourmet foods has he tested lately?

Chomsky is hardly the best resource, verrip. i would suggest that hickle look up "Third Wave Feminism" (the subject grouping for gender politics). it is a very broad topic, and i seriously doubt that many are interested in it. he should probably look up a local community college and enroll in a class or two if he wants to understand it. speaking personally, i don't. i have enough to concern myself with without worrying about things like gender pronouns.

But we have squirrels that run around my campus that get drunk on certain berries, or so my boss says. But these squirrels are probably planning on taking over the world. They are not scared of anyone, and walk out into the street, get close to you. One was twisting it's tail at me back in April and staring me down, this other one I swore would have let me pet it but I wasn't about to get bit by NO squirrel. We want to change our school's mascot to a squirrel!

The in and out business is such a pain because I have to put his collar on, put his harness on, take his collar off, take his harness off, each and every time. If I tell him he can't go out again, he yells his fool head off. He's yelling right now. Stupid cat.

What gourmet foods has he tested lately? I am not sure I ever mentioned it on these boards before but my first adult time owning a cat never dreamed. That is until I moved into a ground floor condo. The cat and I had lived in high rises so she never got to see birds and mammals outdoors. If she dreamed, she never twitched in her sleep. Once I moved into a ground floor condo, she finally saw birds and mammals landing on the lawn and walking by the condo outside the condo windows. She then began to twitch in her sleep. An interesting observation.

An interesting observation. That is interesting. Before I got him, Sushi spent two years locked up in one room on the ninth floor. I don't know his history prior to that, but being a "fancy" cat, he probably wasn't allowed to go outside. I never noticed if he twitched in his sleep when I got him, but now he gallops in his sleep, chasing squirrels and blue jays.

When the box thing happens, go to the BBCode view (a little tab at the bottom of the reply box) and make certain your curser is after the last "[/quote]" you see in the text. There won't be any "" around the words, I just added that so it wouldn't create a quote box here.

Remember the date square fiasco? I had brought home some leftover date squares to give to the raccoons, and in the middle of the night, Sushi tore into them like a fat kid tearing into a Happy Meal. What a mess! Took forever to clean the crumbs out of the carpets.

Those plastic bags don't stand a chance! And cardboard boxes. He chews the flaps, although to be fair that may not be a food thing.

They chew 'em, claw 'em, hide in 'em, and push them into common walkways so you'll trip over 'em. Laugh a minute. Yeah.

He certainly has interesting tastes. My daughter brought over some gardenias from her garden. They were in a lovely, cut glass candy dish. Chooch found them and moved them, one at a time, into the Chinese fishbowl that holds one of my silk trees. Why? Who knows? Maybe she figured flowers need dirt? Cats are crazy!
