One thing I will give Trump - he did stay quiet when it was Harris's time, and called her out when she made a peep during his time.
Bravo, he can be trained!
Unfortunately, once he opened his mouth, he couldn't stay on track and answer a straight question, even when it was repeated. Kept veering wildly off topic to his favorite false talking points.
Oh, and it was all about how harribul everyone was to him. Everything was harribul. Like nails on a chalkboard every time he repeated it.

He's had lots of time in addition to his first term. He could have worked on it, like these last 3.5 years in between golfing and asking people to kiss the ring. |

Trump is bragging that Victor Orban, a ‘very strong man,’ said that everything is falling apart in the world because Trump is no longer president because everyone in the world was afraid of Trump.
Hum, don’t really care what Victor Orban thinks about Trump. And - Trump immediately goes back to talking about the hordes of immigrants. I’m sure someone is tracking the number of lies. Has to be triple digits at this point. he was saying that crap RIGHT AFTER Harris handed him his ass by telling him that he was weak and ineffective, and leaders of the world told her so. it was one of several moments in the debate where he appeared rattled and went back to his traveling fascist circus performance. |

I turned to PBS after the debate was over, and was watching the panel discussion. The person with connections to and reporting on behalf of the Trump campaign said that not one of her sources in the campaign had contacted her during or after the debate. Apparently they were not feeling particularly positive about his performance. Also said that one of the Republican undecideds she had talked to previously said that he had been moving toward Harris and that this debate had solidified that. He could now see Harris as a potential Commander-in-Chief. Could not view Trump that way.
The Republican strategist on the panel stated that it was a comparison between a well-executed plan and no plan. Harris had things she wanted to do to Trump and Trump took the bait EVERY time. Again, even Republicans don't think he did well at all. Can't say I'm at all surprised. Can't say I'm at all disappointed. Crush that worthless f***.

Our local news station was fact checking, and denounced Trump for claiming that babies could be terminated after birth. (Of course, that's not legal in ANY state.) Their political reporter also said he didn't know what to say about the statements about pet eating, implying that's just plain crazy. (Well, it is.) That reporter is going to be spending the night going through statements both candidates made, and doing the true/false test for tomorrow's news. I bet I know who told more whoppers.  |
