You have those pictures backwards - at least with the video I saw. He looked like shit when he first stood up (the second picture you posted). He was pale and dazed - as anyone would be. The secret service surrounded him and started scooting him off the stage. Before they got to the exit, Trump pushed his way out of the top of the scrum to look victorious. To me it seems like he put those agents in more danger - but I understand why he wanted to make a strong gesture.

I am starting to wonder if trump was struck by a flying piece of glass (from a damaged teleprompter or other stage equipment) and not a bullet.  Location on his head where trump was allegedly shot bya bullet is suspicious to me.  

In the video, trump's head is turned to the right.

The man who died was in the right hand stand ...... directly in the line of fire from the shooter towards Trump.

There can be no doubt that this was an assassination attempt.

As for the shooter there was a girl on TV saying he (the shooter) liked History ..... and something I've never heard of but thought was American politics.

She always spoke to him and he was nice.

So seems to be a difference of opinion.

Teleprompter screen stage right which would have been located downstage of where Trump was standing  shows no damage in the video during Secret Service response. Not sure what equipment would be placed upstage of his speaking position. Can't see any in video.

DJ, I looked up CTV news just to check the source. But yes right now people are going to interview anyone and put it on as breaking news. When I looked at Welt's link, if you scrolled down there was a letter from Melania. Already!  Two hours ago.

So apparently the guy liked guns and tried out for the HS shooting club but was such a horrible shot (like 20 feet away from the target) he quit after the first meeting.

And he has almost no regular social media footprint (weird for a 20 year old) but did hang out on Discord, which I don’t know anything about but is apparently kind of a back door private internet where some questionable groups hang out? I’m guessing this is where he got radicalized, but they haven’t been able to access it yet.

Certainly appears to be a lone wolf attack.

Some on the far right are pasting together fake social media accounts for the dead shooter, listing as his hobbies that he belongs to ATIFA and being a liberal.

I’m not an IT wizard but even I know that Facebook will know the date and time that a new account is created, and will be able to show very easily that unless the shooter came back from the dead and made it after he died, these accounts are fake.

If they just waited, it might turn out this guy WAS an ANTIFA convert. They just need to be patient and wait for the actual facts to come out.

Bet that MTG posts some of those fake accounts as proof it was the libs. It’s just the kind of fakery she’d go for.

There may be some questionable groups on discord, but it's a pretty common chat media. Gamers definitely use it regularly, DS5 uses it with his friend group (and DH uses it to reach DS5 at college). We even had our teen intern set up a teen library discord channel for us last summer. There's a librarian discord channel in my system...
