I want to see it all
If we have a marauding megalomaniac nearby....... I want to know what they want.
There are Royal prerogatives in place........ The Crown acts as a buffer zone which prevents us getting a Putin ... or despot (which so may countries have clinging on to power)
However, the courts overruled a prerogative given by the Queen a couple of years back...... which rather suggest we have legal sovereignty
and that's not good because Judges aren't best positioned for the ultimate power.... (they have made some real gaffs)
Should be parliamentary sovereignty, because they speak for the people...... and the sooner this gets back to normal the better.
Democracies are precious things.

I can’t link it on my phone but Trump posted a weird comment about how he helped Taylor Swift get a bunch of money by signing some Entertainment law so she should be a big fan of his. Biden hasn’t done anything for her, according to Trump.
So weird to see the world through his eyes, where your loyalty rests strictly with whoever allows you to take in the most cash.
Don’t see it being a successful ploy with Swift, who seems to have plenty of money already, and who seems to not base her sense of self worth on the money in her bank account (she gave each of her roadies on her last tour a 100,000 tip - Trump would have figured out a way to short change them so he could feel good about ‘winning.’)

Trump should be paying more attention to what's happening to his empire and the money he will be parting with. I think it doesn't occur to him this time he is going to fail in his quest to save his ass. |

Can’t wait for all the conspiracy theories now that the Chiefs won. Well, the game was rigged of course. I thought doubling the screen time for Swift with the tying field goal at the end of regulation and then the winning touchdown in overtime was a good script move. |

They are crazy fear mongers and sensible thoughts hurt their heads apparently. If Taylor Swift does decide to endorse Biden I would expect it would be at an interview or possibly one of her concerts. No way she would steal the thunder and accomplishment of her boyfriend and his team. But the fear mongers wanted to ruin things for both of them prior to the game because they are just sour faced killjoys who don't how to do anything but wallow in misery. What I've learned from Trump's time in office is how few Christians seem to exist in the Bible belt. And how many people use church as an exclusionary social club. I suspected that was the case, but hoped the rot was not extensive as it seems to be now. |

As a practicing Christian, I get SO annoyed at the hate-filled people who define themselves as Christians. I wish there was an accurate term to call them. Maybe Hillary Clinton nailed it, when she used the term "deplorables".  |

I have never been a defender of the firm - but if they disappeared tomorrow, would Britain need to bring on ambassadors or other dignitaries to fill the hole? It seems like they entertain heads of state and what-not in between their time with the prime minister or whatever. They meet with citizens and give them recognition, which seems to take that off the plate of others. Maybe I am just going on headlines - the royals definitely work (or at least Princess Anne does) - does that work mirror anything our government pays non-royal people to do? You don't need to defend the Royals..... They are the Government of another country. Its matters that the King has cancer because it could create a constitutional crisis.... as he is Head of State in this and 14 countries. We have just settled down after the Queens demise Imagine if Joe Biden suddenly developed cancer ...... it would leave you thinking, what's going to happen now. We have had 40 years to accept William as successor. I’m not sure what “constitutional crisis” would happen. They have contingencies if the King is temporarily out of service and we know exactly what will happen if he dies. Also, there have been other Kings and Queens who have abdicated for health reasons - Demark’s Queen did it literally last month. We have had about 4 years to accept the Kamala would take over. That could be temporary or permanent via choice or death. We have had other Presidents die in office. We know what will happen. Our racist, misogynistic ass country will blow an artery and claim they are going to start a civil war, and then elect the worst person on earth. Not a lot of mystery here. |

I'd have to go back and watch the commercials for sure but I felt buy-in during first viewing. However, I'm not at all aligned with Hobby Lobby type of Christianity. |

Why do they say they did it? It was a dispute between 2 juveniles who are now in custody. No planned mass shooting, just two kids with guns that can't resolve conflict like normal people. The people shot were innocent bystanders. Shit like this happens in red states with no gun control. |
