I want to buy these boots. IUV Cowboy Boots For Women Mid Calf Western Boots Cowgirl Pull-On Tabs Pointy Toe Boot a.co/d/c3SEAzB I don't need them. However I don't have any white boots. I must have spent. $1K this weekend. I got really good deals though. Tell me I don't need them, or that I do... What do y'all think? I only see a general main page, with no white cowboy boots (or any color), on it. Do you have an outfit to wear them with? If so, I'll support you on your purchase! |

I bought a new (smaller) purse online, November 5, 2023. I paid for expidited shipping, so I would receive it in 5-12 days.
I still have not received it. I have written to the company, 3 times, inquiring about my purchase and tracking information. I did not get a reply to any of my emails.
Finally, yesterday, I filed a claim with my bank and also contacted PayPal to advise them.
I'm actually pretty bummed, because I liked all the pockets and organization the purse provided.
DD2 is going to have to put up with my Mary Poppins/bowling ball bag, until I find another one.

I have this cool key chain set/organizer that I think someone on this board posted more than a year ago I think for something else in their product line. They take PayPal or check. Because of your post, I think I will go with the check even though it means I might not get my preferred color choice shipped to me. I do have to re-activate PayPal for various reasons, but I am in no huge hurry. Just remembered some of the cool walking tours in town needed Venmo to pay, and I'm glad for now that this area does not do open houses at Christmas for fundraisers. |

DS wanted a gold bar for Christmas. I talked him down to a gold coin and then paid with a credit card, figuring the extra 4% charge ensured reasonably prompt shipping, avoided me having to fool around with a paper check and did not require entering my checking account information on a random website  |

I did NOT buy the $450 polish collection I was considering. I decided that I really wouldn't be able to justify it, because I just don't have any artistic talent - and that set was really designed for those who do real art on their nails. It looks fine if you just slap it on in an abstract design as well, but if that's all I'm going to do then it isn't worth $450 to me. What I did instead was buy something called embo powder, which you mix with normal gel polish to make it thicker. But don't worry. But, all that money I 'saved" by not getting the collection went to other (smaller) collections that I'd been eyeing. Plus side, most of it came out of my checking account rather than putting it on a card.

Further girl math: I had a goal of getting laser hair removal done on my legs this year; reality: it’s expensive and I won’t follow through on making the appointments. So instead I bought a home system on BF sale.  It’s about half the cost of a single treatment on one leg and seems a long way from the Tria I used ten plus years ago. Report back on how it works/lasts please? And if you like it the brand?  |

Jury still out on whether it works! It'll take a couple of weeks I think to see if the hairs are falling out. It is suuuuper bright tho…you absolutely need to put the provided dark glasses on before you turn it on. Even with the light pressed directly against the skin it’s painfully bright. On another note, I think BF is having an inhibitory effect in my spending this year…things I was on the fence on or didn’t see before have mostly gone back up to regular prices and my general attitude is well I’m definitely not buying it now |

andi9899, I just saw that Target is offering a $15 Target gift card if you purchase a $100 Happy Holidays gift card that can be used at several different stores. I would buy it as we might go to Lowe’s but you could use it at Ulta

I’m sure he was picturing an ingot  Even an ounces goes for $2000+ these days… I ordered a half-sovereign which I think is just over 1/10 oz, about $300. We just read A Little Princess so kind of cool to see the money they used. I also have a severely limited supply of good ideas this year. Dad actually specified in his trust that we were to split his gold coins (15-20 of them) among his three kids but no one wants to take that up with my mother who has physical possession of the safe. |

More girl math landed on my credit card today. I had made hotel reservations through my credit card the last visit to my hometown. I thought I had gotten screwed as no credit appeared on the account. Well, the credit is there today. Much better than 1% and I don't stay at that brand anytime except in that town, so I don't want their branded card.

This might be a combination of girl math and rich people math. Someone made the comment that a keychain I had posted was expensive,
which it was. I think purchases need to be seen in the lens of who gets them and why. Sure a $48 keychain is not cheap, and since I am not currently rich its not something I would choose for all my keys. That said, I held onto the equivalent of an Opti O key chain from my mom for way to long. Probably thirty years at least. At this point I think only the gold plated or brass carabiner part still exists. I bought a cheap look alike at Cotton On or whatever their paper goods store is named. Thing was totally apart and totally useless under 2 years.
