I do not. So the entire palette is a duo chrome color story. If you watch the video that is on one of the slides, you'll be able to see how the colors shift from one color to another when the light hits it. I do not own anything like that. In fact, it's the only one like it that I know of currently. That makes it even more justified, right?

Andi - interesting as i didn't get the nuance until you explained it.

Hit jcp bf jewelry sale - spent $116, saved $476. That's some great girl math. Teen and tween niece Xmas done.

Also bought ahead for DD15s post theater performance gifts. Have switched from spending $20 on flowers and then trying to make sure our cats don't eat them. Instead buying nice clearance grown up jewelry that she can have as keepsakes.

By any chance, have you tried the magnetic, false eye lashes?
If so, what did you think, honestly? Would you recommend them?
My tremors make wearing eye makeup so hard. I usually don't bother, anymore. But I'd like to have lashes, that show. And the ones I've tried/used, had to be applied by someone else.

Boy, Can I relate to this! I am very much in the same position. It takes the fun out of gift giving.
For the first time ever, I asked my girls, iif we could skiip the giving between us. It still feels weird to me, but in a way, it also feels good. What a relief! I will just buy and give gifts, to my 2 granddaughters and call it good.

I really hope this goes well, so we can keep doing it- or noot doing it, depending on how you look at it. haha

Even just coming up with a gift for the 2 girls, is hard for me. They have everything a child could want. They each have their own bedroom. In addition to those toys and things, they have 3 designated play/toy rooms, that we have to keep sneaking stuff out of, because they're all too full! It's crazy!

I could probably wrap a big empty box and they would have as much fun with it, as any other gift I buy. Maybe more fun!

We as a family gather for Christmas but gift only the littles.
I buy for my little DGD more for myself really. Such fun to buy pretty dresses, tickets for Nutcracker etc
She enjoys also, doesn’t need anything but happy to get something pretty and enjoy an event. When our DGSs were little, DD requested no gifts, just experiences.

I was telling my dad over the weekend that I definitely do my part to stimulate the economy. He agreed, but was not impressed.

I have not tried magnetic lashes. I haven't heard good things, so I have refrained.

Got 2 months of Hallmark Movies Now for a $1.50 a month from amazon.  Used the no rush digital promotion credits I already had to pay for it, so that is free right?  My daughter tried to give me some logic that it wasn't free, but I still think that is free.

I really like the boots, andi9899.  Just for the record, I prefer boots in the Winter, and Sandals in the Summer.  Just don't ask how many I own.

Further girl math:  I had a goal of getting laser hair removal done on my legs this year; reality:  it’s expensive and I won’t follow through on making the appointments.  So instead I bought a home system on BF sale.     It’s about half the cost of a single treatment on one leg and seems a long way from the Tria I used ten plus years ago.

At least you got fun stuff.  In addition to laser system I got a floor cleaner, shoes for when DS outgrows the current batch, Turbotax, house stuff, and deposit on summer camp.  And a sample pair of work pants (bc my current no longer made batch has successfully transitioned from disreputable to actively falling apart). I didn’t even get that many Christmas presents taken care of

I requested a refund on a book on Crosby, Stills and Nash that I ordered late 2022.  It was to be a luxurious photo book autographed by the three of them.  It was to be shipped from the UK in August.  

Crosby died in January 2023, so they had no autograph from him.

In August, they sent a notice that the book was due to complications as a result of his death, they didn't know when the book would be shipped.

This month, I sent an email for any update on the book's delivery.  The company, a very well respected company, has no idea of when it will be released.  I requested and received a refund.

So I had a lot of free money for girl math.  It's now spent and the girl math is over.

After all they were such a good deal.

I got a sweater at TjMaxx and an intense moisture mask at Ulta for my face.

And the 1 book in the Sailor Moon Manga. Buy two books get one free at Target. No brainer.
