And in the alternate universe Trump is elected. rights for women and anyone not a white male of the correct kind will erode. It surprises me that RW women see the push for women to have no say over their body integrity if a fertilized egg is present, leads to other things. Some of the men behind Trump want to not allow divorce. Read recently about a Pastor at a Vance campaign stop had some outrageous views. Like divorce should not be allowed even in the case of abuse. Some of these men won't be happy until women and everyone else are chattel like slaves of the past. If women voting for Trump do not care about democracy, how do you feel about your continued ability to work, to drive, have money in your name, etc. ? Welcome to Taliberica precisely. the American Taliban is no longer JW Linde. and why should anyone choose America over, say, Iran? a family of four can live on $1250/month in Iran. rent is $350/month. you want to complain about inflation? cut your costs by 2/3 by moving to Iran. please. otherwise, how about looking at the half full glass for a change?

I hope he loses the electoral vote like he did in 2020. Any politician usually gets less popular as time goes on simply because they have done more things for people to be unhappy about. Trump's current campaign feels like his first year in office. A horror show of mistakes, missteps and unforced errors. He may highly doubtful. He was undoubtedly the best president since Regan (although Clinton wasn't bad). I tend to not pay attention to polls they are skewed a lot depending on the day. I think Trump is way ahead of Harris remember Hillary all the polls said she was ahead she was going to win by a landslide nope didn't happen. Middle America wants a Republican she is losing ground on the swing states once things get real nasty she will be toast. They have her cocooned in a rose garden type of speeches she can't handle any tough questions that is why walz was with her on CNN she needs a chaperone. They are afraid she will start cackling. Regan never was president. He was a Chief of Staff.

You may hope that but in reality we all know that will not happen sorry, i meant to say he needs to get crushed for the GOP to change. it has nothing to do with "hope". it is the only way that happens. otherwise we will be dealing with this chaos and "retribution" until Trump dies, and maybe after. i do HOPE for the sake of the US that this happens, but it is not for me. it is for you and others that remain. the odds of her winning big are small RIGHT NOW. but it is impossible to say what they will be this time next week, let alone in a month.

I would say that there is a much greater chance of Harris winning big than of Trump winning big. There has been a reported surge in voter registration in swing states among women, black voters, and young voters since Harris became the nominee. All of those groups skew Democratic. And even more than the straight numbers involved, it is likely more representative of a much higher level of enthusiasm on the Democratic side. I would also guess that most people who would support Trump are already registered, so there is not as much room for growth there.
The bottom line is probably this: If Democrats turn out to vote, Harris will win. Democrats seem extraordinarily motivated and excited to turn out to vote.

For what it is worth, Liz Chaney and her father, former Republican Vice President Dick Chaney have both said they will vote for Harris. Dick Chaney said trump is the greatest threat ever to the USA republic.

I know this is frivolous fun, am I the only one who missed this? A fly landed on the face of former President Donald Trump during a press event Thursday, marking the second Trump-led campaign that featured a notable interaction with the insect.

Biden got 2 more EV over Trump than Trump got over Clinton. it is easy to forget that, so you are forgiven.

If you adjust for the seven faithless electors in 2016, who may have been/should have been criminally prosecuted for their actions, the totals were the same. 306 - 232 both times. I was hoping that the poster would actually look it up before someone else posted them, but there was probably very little chance of that happening anyway.....

Seriously, is there NOBODY on his team...even his wife maybe...that he would listen to that has the balls to tell him he looks like absolute crap? He can afford to hire a professional make up person to cover up the liver spots or whatever he's doing, he doesn't need to keep slapping bright orange, not blended foundation on in the backseat of the car.

Yeah, but the big question is this: Which is really worse? The horrible makeup, the ridiculous hair, the fat out-of-shape body, or the permanent scowl? From a woman's perspective, of course.

I don't think he's willing to listen to anyone on that. He did however convince Rudi that one time to slap on some black shoe polish haircolor.
