Yes, they're reports I create for them to present to the customers. Every month I rename the previous month and add the new data, so I depend on the prior month being left alone. Some of the engineers are good and make their own personal copies if they're going to eff with it...some just don't get it. I'm pretty sure you can lock cells, or even the whole worksheet. past that, I've had good luck in limiting the shared network drive to "read only" unless you actively needed write access. people could grab copies of things without messing with the originals. this was in the days before my control system configuration files were under electronic records lock and key. maybe ask your IT group if they can lock out write access? if any of the engineers wants to mess with things, they can create a local copy and have a party with it all. Yep, you can lock cells or the entire sheet. I just have never had a reason to learn. Every month I bitch and moan when I do the reports, fix them, then get caught up in all my normal things the rest of the month and the next thing I know it's the 1st again.

do you have to share them? that would seriously piss me off. Yes, they're reports I create for them to present to the customers. Stupid question, I want to get my eyebrow pierced before I turn 50. That only gives me a couple of months. I just don't know where to go. Claire's or to a tattoo shop? Does it make any difference whatsoever? I’d probably trust a tattoo shop more than Claire’s for an eyebrow piercing. FWIW, I’m still thinking of getting my ear cartilage pierced and I plan to go to a tattoo shop. I’ve gotten my ears pierced at Claire’s. Tagging NomoreDramaQ1015 because I think she’d probably have an opinion. I thought she had an eyebrow piercing. I don't have an eyebrow. I have my nose and targus pierced. I barely trust Claire's with ear lobes. But if your kid doesn't want to wait till 14 it's the only option here. For anything else go to a professional parlor who not only does it properly but has the right type of jewelry. Besides I do not believe Claire's is licensed to do anything other than lobes and a cartilage piercing. I wouldn't trust any that claims they are. They aren't trained to properly pierce. They are often barely trained to handle the gun and that shouldn't really be used on any body part. It absolutely makes a difference ask any girl my age who self pierced then went and bought her jewerly at Claire's. You want someone who knows what they are doing especially messing around by your eye.

It's full of graphs and pivot tables and such which I expect them to play around with and they do add some data and other info as well. There's just certain areas I don't want them messing with.

I don't remember how now, but yes, you can lock the cells and put read only.
Why not keep your copy, make them one to play with. Yours will be secure, put it on a passport they cannot get into on a separate drive, then you can keep that one pure.
You can easily compare the two.

We went to bed at 7:30 last night. I had one or two coughing spells and some heartburn but otherwise slept until the alarm at 6. DH was sure he would wake up in the night-he didn't. I feel 99% good today, he's at about 80%. I ran a load of laundry, cleaned the bathrooms, reconciled the bank accounts before lunch. Then I knocked out a few more chapters of THE BOOK. It's frustratingly slow going but I'll nibble at it day by day. After seeing online that Office Depot doesn't have my toner at my store, I put in an Amazon order for that plus copy paper, file folders and a document holder. I had a doc holder before but ditched it thinking he would never write another book. Wrongo, and it really does help hold the docs in position for typing which helps my back and neck a lot. Instead of going to Office Depot tomorrow, I'll go to Home Goods, much more fun I spent a good 15 minutes looking up and printing out the chart for adding diacritical marks in Word. There's a fair amount of French and Spanish words and names in the book so I'll keep the chart handy.

would you mind sharing that Word doc when you're done? danke I had one tacked to a cube wall about 15y ago, when I was actively working in France. I don't often post in other languages, and when I do, my family doesn't GAF that my American English keyboard doesn't have the accent keys. but I'm starting to work more internationally again. I'm hoping the keyboard shortcuts aren't still limited to the number pad I don't have anymore since I'm 100% on a laptop.

I made 7 packages of ham steak, wow! I could put 2 together later and grind it into ham salad. Then I sealed the 2 bone ends for bean soup. I trimmed a lot off 3 slices of ham and the bones and put them in a big pot of water. Going to make ham broth and freeze it. I hit the jackpot on that thing.
I have leftover green beans and potatoes plus some noodles and a salad. I'm sure I can find something else to go with it. I'm still having problems getting back into the nightly cooking mode, sigh.
DD and I had brunch. She had grilled cheese, fries, and a drink. I had 2 eggs over easy, 2 pieces of sausage, and 2 pieces of toast plus drink, $19.76, dang. Their prices are going crazy too. I didn't care for their sausage, to fat compared to Odon's, won't buy it again. But that is all we have eaten all day. Dinner will be around 6.
We are eating out a bit too much again, that is way to fattening, have to stop that. Just no fun doing anything anymore, sigh.

The highlight of my day was a post I saw on NextDoor. One person in the neighborhood has declared her life goal as savior of us all, stating she will attend all community meetings and "report out the truth!". Due to an increase in our group size and attendance, it was announced at our December meeting that future meetings would be held at a different, larger location beginning in February 2023This morning that person posted a huge announcement about the scheduled Monday night meeting, encouraging all residents to attend. One guess where she said it would be Ignorance seeking relevance is always fun to watch, if aggravating.

I finally remembered something useful I could do during this period of hibernation: I have the old family photos that were in Dad's storage unit when we quietly cleared it out. Poor Dad thought he'd be going back to his Independent Living unit from LTC but he'd had a serious stroke. When I accidentally mentioned that I was taking them home with me he was concerned but I told him it was to protect them from fluctuating temperatures in the storage unit- a valid concern. I'm pitching a lot of photos of scenery and of Mom and Dad with people we don't know. I'm slowed down a bit having to annotate photos with notes on the back in Mom's beautiful handwriting but grateful she took the time. One was a picture of my grandfather before I was born, sitting in his office at the steel company with the blast furnace visible outside his window. Grandpa loved blast furnaces- would seek them out on road trips and take pictures. So, please- take lots of pictures with people in them and document, document, document! Will be sharing a few on FaceBook. Also scan for future generations. Very important if you want your family to know their family.

Just had a small plate of shrimp curry for lunch. It was quite good, with a decent amount of spice in it.
Went and did time on the bike in the fitness center this morning, then did laundry. Our room steward said the laundry room was a madhouse last night, today it was easy in/easy out. My last set of workout wear was used, and the next couple days are going to be busy.

I would like to start nursing an adult beverage. I cannot do that for a while. Me too. But I do it much better, when I'm not doing it by myself. I like having a distraction from the taste.

Also scan for future generations. Very important if you want your family to know their family. One of the great gifts DH gave my family was taking the boxes and boxes of slides that Dad had taken in the 1950s through the 1970s, scanning them and working with them in PhotoShop. PhotoShop stopped working years after he died- likely a very old version- and it did 1000% more things than I could figure out. He was good at adjusting colors, sharpening contrast, etc. I gave everyone thumb drives, of course, and occasionally post some on FaceBook, especially on birthdays and death anniversaries. I've also assembled a few slideshows for landmark birthday celebrations. What I have left are prints, which are easier but the resolution isn't as good as with slides and negatives. I just woke up from a badly-needed nap- I've been waking up at 6-6:30 every morning (yeah, that used to be normal 5 days a week ) but I just slept for an hour. I'll have to set the alarm Monday for my 8 AM cardiologist appointment. I'm still getting reactions- over 30 so far- from my post on LinkedIn announcing my son's new entry-level actuarial job after passing 2 exams last year. He'd been working in Claims almost 15 years before that. I posted with his permission, of course. Colleagues from my first (and subsequent) jobs, a priest from the church we attended in NJ, even an old BF in Italy with whom I had a wild fling while he was here working at the US HQ of the company where my Ex (DS's father) worked. Same couple introduced my to the Italian guy and later to the Ex. Warms my heart.

Was pleasantly surprised to find out low rise jeans still look fairly decent on me.
Inseam was too long though so I didn't get them.

Inseam was too long though so I didn't get them. you could always have them shortened. my absolute favorite pair of jeans in my adult life were originally a 37" inseam, bc Old Navy is so consistent lol... I'm just not that tall. but I had them tailored to my height and I wore them out over the next 4 or 5 years. I still have them, debating the wisdom of patching it. haha.

I used a brush out of a travel size eyeshadow brush kit to see if I could help my little lemon trees flowers pollinate. From start to finish, I imagined a tiny andi9899 sitting on my shoulder yelling “THAT IS NOT WHAT THAT BRUSH IS FOR”

Showing off the low riders ain't happening. But underneath a longer top I didn't look pregnant in low riders so I count it as a win. Plus my butt is still fantastic. 🤘😝🤘

Dinner was leftovers from lunch and we'll probably crash early again due to the allergy fog. DH watched The Woman King and said it was really good.

Dinner was leftovers from lunch and we'll probably crash early again due to the allergy fog. DH watched The Woman King and said it was really good. Mister and I watched The Woman King a couple of weeks ago, and while I love Viola Davis, the movie was just ok to me. We’ve been waiting to be able to watch Wakanda Forever at home, but last time we checked, it still wasn’t available yet, even if we paid for it. We took DGS to the movies to see Black Panther when it first came out, and I’ve happily watched it a couple of times since then. I want to see Wakanda Forever, but not bad enough to go sit in a theater. Black Panther was pre-COVID, when we went to the movies to watch it. I have a short attention span when it comes to movies, so there aren’t many I’ll willingly watch more than once. I do good if I manage to watch a whole movie the first time. One of the fairly recent ones that I’ll happily watch again is The Harder They Fall. I’ve watched it twice already and the past couple of days, I’ve been kind of wanting to watch it again. Idk why, but I really liked that movie, and that’s saying something for me, I fall asleep during a lot of movies lol. Mister hates that. Mister bought The Bullet Train for us to watch a couple weeks ago, it’s free now on Netflix or somewhere. I did manage to watch the whole movie, but it mostly kept my interest because it was kind of crazy lol. I’m okay with not watching it again, ever.
