andi and I are hanging out on the deck, looking at photos I've got up on FB (since she's not on there) and listening to music. we played tourist in my town earlier tonight, grabbing a cocktail at a couple different places along the waterfront. she took a fantastic sunset pic, hopefully she will share here.
we both had enough of the public, and the drinks are cheaper here. haha.

I looked at DD's blood work, her free thyroxine is too high, 1.91, look for them to change her med again.
Her Eosinophils are 5.6%. I'm guessing it's because of the psoriasis, she gets flares. Says it can be parasites, since the cats had them, I suppose she could. Also could be due to her huge awful black eye I'm thinking. But she doesn't mess with the cats that much, if anyone would have them would be me.
Otherwise all her bloodwork looks good.

Good morning, valiant invisipeeps. I hope your Saturday is an easy August romp and includes some delectable desert. Today I hope for us all to feast and frolic and avoid the need for bail and swamp's professional services as we gather at chiver78's.

Oh, good lord!! I hung up one of those sticky fly ribbons near Sushi's food. I don't want flies laying eggs in his food. I heard a crash from the kitchen and all my little dragon and Buddha statues are on the floor. Sushi thought it was a toy. Now he's running around with a fly strip running down the length of his body. It's REALLY sticky, and I can't get it off him. He's losing his mind. I'm have to get out the vegetable oil and try that. What a mess. I am so sorry about sushi, but ROFL!

I'm tired, stayed up way to late reading, good book.
DD had a mess this morning, I don't know how we can travel with her. The only way is in the motorhome far as I can see. Either that or I'm stuck at home.
Oh well, another day. The colorist at Ulta must not be busy. She is not working all week and had openings on Saturday! I'm sure that is something you can let go if affected by inflation.

I’m in the bus on the way back to Tirana after a day trip to Barat, a UNESCO heritage site. Headed to Shkoder tomorrow. Albania is really impressive. Who knew?

A person who leaves at 5am to start a road trip meets a person who can suddenly remember 20 tasks that need done before you leave and doesn't pulls out of the drive way till three hours later.
These people then marry each other.

I went to the farmer's market and loaded up on produce. To balance it all out, I got doughnuts on the way home. They are delicious.

Last night's chickpea curry turned out really well-it's a definite repeat recipe. Getting the odor out of the house will take a day or 5 but that's why I buy Bath&BodyWorks candles by the dozen. Got a load of laundry done, plus floors and toilets. I'm going to throw together a pasta salad to go with our plant-based burger tonight. countrygirl2 Please let us know which mattress y'all decide on - DH and I need a new one too. I'm 99% sure we'll go with Tempurpedic again, but I'm open to suggestions. A new Tempurpedic set is going to run around $3500+ so I'm watching the sales

I'm not sure what I'm watching, but open to suggestions. I have Netflix, Prime, and Apple TV right now. If you liked Game of Thrones, try The Last Kingdom on Netflix.

Aaargh! Stupid Angi's/Home Serve sold my email address to every GD spammer and scammer out there. I blame myself--was looking at FB for home landscaping/mowing help and I used my email address for contact info for what looked like a legitimate inquiry. It devolved into a request for phone number, etc., so I quit it and realized later it was Angi/Home Serve.
Now daily I get dozens of emails, "McAfee Terminated, You are Infected with 76 viruses!", "Sex", "Match for Senior Singles", "Secret Swedish (German, African) Elongation Ritual", "DHL" or "UPS" or "FEDEX Ready to Deliver Your Winnings of Free Pallet", "Public Records", "You Have WON", "Get Rich", "Lose Fat", and on and on. I'm really sick of it. Every day I block all the senders and the next day more are sending. The problem is in large part I used my legitimate email that I use professionally. I don't know what I was thinking.

I am barely asleep by that time, leave alone ready to get up and start a trip...

I am the 5am person. Didn't matter if we were half dead dad rode at dawn! I aim to be on the road by 6 AM. Dad was like your dad. We were always on the road by 6 AM. I am not my dad when it comes to the time in the car each day. The route was planned with precision, which meant nothing could be done if it wasn't already on the schedule. This was back in the days of 2 lane roads so there was always delays. We rarely made it to the hotel by 8 PM and I remember getting to one after midnight and dad still wanted to go out for steak. Mom nixed that idea and found a 24 hour breakfast place. We were on the road at 6 am the next morning. I prefer to be at my location by 3 or 4 in the afternoon, but if I see something interesting, I stop. I have traveled to Colorado from Iowa enough time that I do not need to make extra stops.

Our upstairs hall carpeting is cleaner. I don't know that I would call it clean.
Less dirty, is an improvement that I am satisfied with.

I also realized that for the first time in 47 years...(yes, Mr. guy at the farmers market, thank you for checking that the missy is indeed my child. Because she''s not my 10 year old's kid). I digress... The first time I get to pick out a color for a room and NO ONE ELSE NEEDS to agree with it. . This is on the heels of buying a car I wanted for the first time at 46.
No wonder why they say your 40s are so awesome. Oh dear god. If we can improve his room configuration, I might even get some space to myself. We lost the ability to have bathrooms our quiet/private adult space when the pandemic started.

I am even now optimistic that I might enter a period of my life where I won't hear "Moooooom I need......" every 3.34 minutes.
