DD1 takes 2 gymnastics classes every week. The place she goes to is now offering adult gymnastics classes. I’m actually thinking of taking them but I'm afraid how out of shape I’ll be for them and could be the oldest person in the class (I’m 45). DD1 thinks I should do but I haven’t asked DH’s opinion yet.
In the next few months, I’ll think I’ll sign DD2 up for gymnastics classes. We’ll see what times are available when I think she’ll handle it well. She’s 3 now and doesn’t listen the best at the moment.

Not really but he’s a good reality check. 🙂

I had a busy day at work today and didn’t have time to even read on here.
As soon as I walked in the door at home, Newbie started heaving. I shooed her out the door, and she threw up on the deck. I’m glad we made it outside, because I don’t do well cleaning up vomit without doing the same myself. Cleaning it off the deck was much easier than if it had been inside the house.
Mister left before I got home, to take YD to urgent care or something. So I am home alone for a minute.
I woke up feeling better this morning than I have been feeling, I still have a bunch of crap in my throat though. But at least the other stuff is better. I’m really tired now though, I worked my butt off today.

To out my comments into perspective: I have never been fanatical about "if you start it, you have to finish (whatever that may mean in the situation) person. If whatever I don't want to do anymore does not negatively affect someone counting on me, I just stop. In this situation, I would not necessarily discuss this with DH but with DD1. I would tell her that I am thinking of joining but I am not sure because... (older, out of shape, BUT looks like fun, and no team = no responsibility) I then would just try it out and if I liked it go on and if not I would just stop. For me it would be an implied lesson for DD that it is ok to just try something out and stop when you discover it is just not for you. I have often been told that I do not suffer from decision paralysis and I believe that is in part true because I have no problem trying something out and pivoting as needed if it does not work out. IOW, I am not afraid to not be seen as perfect which is good especially since I know I am not - I am far from perfect
