I can't remember the last time I had a meal. The food in the ER was inedible, and since I've been home, I can barely hold down some juice. I just want to sleep. can you order some ensure or something like that? You need something. Don't make me come up there. I think Ensure is the most vile stuff ever invented. I even made my friends and family promise that if I'm ever in a nursing home, they'll tell the staff "No Ensure!" I used to gag just feeding it to my patients. Juice will have to do.

Gatorade? there's a lemonade flavor that actually tastes like lemonade, so it's not just fake highlighter colored water.

Just had a very successful meeting with a potential vendor, my manager and his adjacent manager, where both managers acknowledged that I am the HBIC and the only person who can answer their questions. Not in those words but that was the gist. Sort of peeved that I was the one that provided them with reports but that they did not include me previously on questions they had on said reports, or even invite me to this meeting - my manager sent it this AM. Well, now they know so hopefully they do better in the future. Head Bitch In Charge? I need to remember that one. I get left off of shit all the time, while also getting CCd on everything that I don't need to worry about. Yup. And now I just found out from my manager that the adjacent manager has created a new corporate project for standardization and has listed me as the owner, with his second under me. News to me, but I will take it. I have been having issue with that manager's team trying to standardize things that they have zero knowledge of, but does affect their major project. They do not even have access to the system to even know how it works but were trying to take over. No sir, not on my watch. I am a scrapper, ain't nobody messing with me LOL. Plus it is sometimes beneficial to being the only female in this area of the business. Yes, I work 10X harder than the males but it shows. My motto is "they are either going to respect or fear me, IDGAF which because I get sh*t done". Channeling andi9899

Sheldon just hurled over the back and arm of the sofa, and the 2 linen throw pillows. I hope I got it out. The cases of the throw pillows are in the wash on delicate.
Stupid cat. Today must not be his turn with the one orange cat brain cell they all have to share.

DH was trying to whine about the guy exam. So I started describing the female exam and that ended that discussion.

I keep coming back to the day of closing arguments, when 3 of the townie family parked themselves facing the jury and basically just stared them down the whole day. fuck each and every last one of them, not just the 3 that showed up to court that day.

Exactly, she was never going to get a fair trial there with that BS. There was no reason for those people to be there other than to intimidate the jury. Everybody knows who runs that town. Come on FBI, do the right thing.

swamp - the CW has issued a statement that they intend to re-try this case. are they required to pursue the same charges the next time around? with her having been grossly overcharged originally, and there not actually being an OUI charge in the list, I wonder if they try to change it up some. curious if that means going back to another grand jury for new indictments, or if having been indicted on stronger charges allows the leeway underneath?

I refilled the feeders and bird baths, then we went to Aldi. The kitchen is scrubbed and mopped. Tomorrow we'll go to Whole Foods for some goodies for the 4th, and Wednesday I'm going to pull the fridge out to clean around and behind it. That's always interesting ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/wink.png) ETA: We just saw a flock of Ibis in a neighbor's yard-folks on the other side of the freeway had flocks yesterday. We normally see them in the drainage ditches but these birds are stalking the yards, apparently for insects I'm not familiar with those birds. But I looked them up. Very cool looking.

I promise no ensure. Milkshakes? Lactose intolerant. I'll pick up some Gatorade. It would be good for you to figure out how to get some protein in you. I know you said you are lactose intolerant. Muscle Milk with low/no sugar and extra protein helped me tolerate chemo really well. I think my mom's careful management of my dad's diet (including a metric shit ton of protein) is one of the reasons he lived 3-4x longer than he was supposed to.

Going good so far. Got all the stuff to the free store. I went into the donation area and there were 2 sets of the most beautiful china in there. What a shame, things like that just don't sell anymore. I'm sure someone cherished it. Likely went to a nursing home, lots of that happening here now. I was thinking, how I would love to have it, then brain kicked in and said, you don't have room for what you have now, so that solved that. But oh my, what a waste, sigh.
So I plan to finish emptying and packing my big hutch and I have most of the items in the china hutch wrapped so I'm going to finish that. When I get those done, I'm going out and finish mowing the lawn so hubs doesn't have too. It will cool off a bit by then. He will still have the lawn at the other house.
I brought him lunch, he was sleeping so good, I hated to wake him but the food wouldn't have been good and I know he hasn't eaten much while gone.
Hubs is cleaning out the bed of his truck.
Tomorrow we are going to the bank, cashing in some bonds, then getting his truck washed, the front is bug covered. Then at 3 he is getting his oil changed. He did it one day and said you have to take parts off underneath and its a pain. So he said it doesn't cost much more to have it down. He has ever since he bought it. I'm so happy he is.
We got the RMD from his 401k for 2024. I'm not sure when they will send the check for the large sum of money. Its been deducted. It scares me to have that much money mailed. Hubs didn't know If the checking account tied to it was still valid, it was, so he had it mailed. I hope we get it in time.
We are getting out extra money to make sure we have enough for everything, it is really costing us to move. I have to buy plane tickets for DD and I to fly up one last time on the 25th. Hubs will drive my car up. Maybe he needs to get son to do that.
Have to pay house insurance, we want the roof done first thing. We will wait till we sell a house to do the furnace. I don't want us to get into more investments, we have mangled them enough. Beans and taters for awhile, LOL. Ok work to do, need to get busy.
We were talking, I told him he can haul some things up and put them on the carport at our other place up there. We can cover them with a tarp, noone will say anything. Or even put them out of sight on our patio. It will help us have more room in the movers truck for his tools.

Yes, new GJ. I'm pretty sure they can add the new evidence, but I'm not 100% sure. However, when the testimony comes in and there are contradictory stories, that looks bad for the prosecutions.

During the 3 or so years I couldn't tolerate solid food, I was drinking a plant based protein drink. At that time, I thought it tasted better than Ensure and thought I liked it. I think because I was mostly surviving on it, I can hardly look at it now.

Former Olympic Swimmer Amy Van Dyken has been heavenly invested in this trial. I will have to get on Instagram. I know she thought it should be a not guilty verdict. She was paralyzed 10 years ago in an ATV accident. She is recovering from two surgeries in the past two weeks to stop the phantom pain from her back and legs and the twitching of her legs that feel like pain to her.

We have our portfolio with Fidelity. They take out any federal and state tax % I tell them then electronically send the balance to our bank. Usually takes 2 days max.

Both of our retirement accounts will send distributions electronically to your bank account. If they do a paper check, it probably will cost you a fee.

I've lived here since 1991 and never saw them in a yard before - makes me a little nervous when Mother Nature starts stuff like this. Critters change habits for a reason, long before we humans know what it is.

We get our RMD's electronically, usually in 1 day. If they have to liquidate shares to satisfy the RMD, it's 3 days to settle and another to send, 4 days total. I would never, ever, ever have a check sent because first class mail can take up to 2 weeks and the bank puts a 3-day hold on deposits of any size.

I've had a day where crying seemed like the best option.
I got an outside data point that it's not me.
Thankfully, I have so much work that I don't have time to think it.
