PF Candle also sells incense, but I'll wait til we get back. I know it won't be on sale then, but I can cash in work-related incentive points for Amazon GCs and they sell on Amazon.... Honestly, if there's anything I *should* be looking to buy, it's outdoorsy water-friendly sandals and proper hiking pants. Not sure when it happened, but I messed around and got Lyme sometime earlier this year (or maybe last year, it was hard to tell from the test results) so I need to get some more protective hiking clothing. Eddie Bauer has 50% off everything for the 4th of July right now. It has been going on at least a week, so some stuff is already sold out, but looking is free!

As some of you know, my employer owns a very popular candle manufacturing company (along with some home appliance, writing, baby, and outdoor clothing & gear companies). They do some pretty terrific "friends and family" sales usually once a quarter. I will try to remember to post here when they have one and anyone interested can PM me for links.

Had the last play of the season tonight. Beetlejuice was very entertaining. I swear the first born, type A daughter thing is a damn trap. I'd love to be the person who can't handle the hard stuff, the one who checks out, the one who doesn't suck it up and figure it out. I've got to fix dad's one state tax return and I don't have time to figure it out. My service must have been wonky last week when I was in TN because I had no missed calls from him but a voicemail that I just found this week. I totally get it. Hugs.

countrygirl2 I sent you a message. Good luck with your sale and your move & don't overdo it! So glad you are moving to a smaller place with no basement! I came in to work to do a year-end thing. Have to stop catching up here and get to work!

So a guy at my gym says his friend has to sell his house becausehe'sgettingdivorcedandhas to give the ex half the equity. It's right by where I live which is where I want to be. It's a 3BR/2 BA ranch which is what I want. He said the guy is a contractor, so has completely remodeled it. He wants $215K for it which is crazy cheap compared to what I have been looking at. I would obviously request an inspection.
What else would you say to look out for in the event that I don't get the house I bid on yesterday and liked the one this guy is selling. I haven't signed anything with the realtor I've been working with. I would send her some money for her time. We could just get it inspected and use the title company I used for my last house sale.

I went to a church run thrift store I've never been to before. They were having a $1 sale.
I got a Calvin Klien dress for $1 and a pair of WHBM dark wash jeans also for $1.
I am impressed with myself.

OMG Finne that is an amazing photo! I am so jealous of your photography skills. Do you sell prints by any chance? I'd love a copy of that one for my wall.❤️ I am SO glad you like it! Yes, I do sell prints, and make them available at Lingerawhilephotos.com, sub Waterside photos. I'll put that particular image on site late this afternoon. If you do decide to get a print, enter the code: RepeatClient to get 20% off. ETA The picture, Sun Breaking Through Clouds in June, is now on the site.

I'm sort of sorry I missed last night's meeting because evidently there was a cataclysmic confrontation after the meeting in which a director went totally off the rails, verbally and physically accosting an employee. While folding 200 t-shirts this morning and handling more $100 bills than I've ever seen in my life, I got a blow-by-blow description from an attendee

Random thoughts: 1. Why do multi-vitamins make me nauseous. 2. I've decided I don't have enough money to go to Vancouver, BC next week. My husband doesn't believe me and has told me to get over myself. 3. Today's the day I toss all the vegetables I bought that I didn't eat and now they're rotten.

I'm sitting out on the deck, it's a gorgeous day out here. sunny and 68 degrees, with a slight breeze. phone is streaming Court TV as we're on verdict watch in the local murder trial, and I just inhaled a half sandwich for a late lunch. I'm giving myself til 3 to fuck around online a little bit before buckling down and signing off a few things for a site I haven't really been giving much attention to this week as they aren't (figuratively) on fire like one of my others. so thankful for a short week next week!

They had brisket on sale for 1.97 a pound. I got a huge one. I'll portion it out and freeze it after it's cooked. I'm almost thinking I should have bought two. I have a deep freezer, but then I wouldn't have enough room left to hide a body. Choices, choices.

Ugh. Just on a call where coworker, clearly feeling not super adequate, described himself as a hardcore _____ jock while I was more of a _____. Good thing camera was off, I rolled my eyes so hard I nearly got a contact stuck ( and I’m not even wearing any). Funny how my recommendations on his claimed field are typically more useful than his

I'm beginning to think this is the only way I'm guaranteed someone won't outbid me. I bid over asking like I did the last one. Last time someone bid more than I did. They had an open house yesterday so I'm sure they have plenty of offers.

I cannot stand heavy scent. I have to sniff shampoo and body wash before I buy. My laundry stuff is unscented. I also sniff cleaning products first. Right now a lot of my stuff is Method. ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/yeahthat.gif) If it doesn’t say unscented I don’t buy. Limits me sometimes but I just deal with it. I can tolerate mild scent, but it really has to be mild. Citrus is usually fairly mild.

countrygirl2 I know you said you were going to sleep in tomorrow, but there are always early birds at sales hoping to get the good stuff. Unless you want all your neighbors to see your jammies, at least give yourself time to throw on some clothes and get some caffeine in you before you start wheeling and dealing. Good luck on the weather and hope you make lots of $$

No I meant sleep in Sunday, I will be up at 8 in the morning.
I have already made $200. I didn't want to sell stuff early, but one neighbor works tomorrow so I let them get what they wanted. Another is going to Indi tomorrow as they life flighted his FIL, so he bought all my canning jars. I have stuff priced to cheap but it needs to go, I made $200 already. And you never know no one may show up, but we will see.
I went through and deleted those items from the posting. I know I could have gotten more. But if some one is canning they are doing it to save money.
Now people are coming by and seeing us, hubs said would have been nice if they had done that before, yes it would have. and one guy says well we lose the good people. Yeah, because we aren't welcomed into the community very well. But that isn't our reason of course.
I have gotten our moving reservation made. That took awhile, but its done. It's through a broker so they will then select a shipper to do the job. It should work out ok.
Moving on.

I also have a friend that works in Canton Public <censored> who has had some insight about the inner workings of the townies. my ladies' hockey team used to close down one of the bars mentioned in testimony after our Sunday night games. I have some very strong opinions on this case, that daisylu and I have taken to PM as we seemed to be the only ones that were following. if you've got any questions, def hit me up. happy to answer what I do know!

Got up this morning to do the shopping for tomorrow’s dinner party with a couple we met on the world cruise.
Since I wanted more berries and cherries from Skagit farms, I drove to the stand south. Since I was closer to the Costco in Burlington, I went there instead. At least early on, it was much less crazy in the store than my local store.
I *just* missed a hell of an accident when I got off of I5 when I did. There were at least 2 fire trucks, 3 EMS I could see when I went over the overpass. Luckily, I knew the back way to Costco, so didn’t have to get back on the highway.
Glad I picked up what I did at Costco. My last stop was the grocery store and by 11 am, much of what I wanted was picked over and empty shelves.

Well, the real just got more real here. Got our first tropical depression of the 2024 season in the Caribbean and it's predicted to be a Cat 2 hurricane by Monday. No telling where that thing (I think her name will be Beryl) will go after that, but odds are strong it will head to the Gulf. Time to lay in the bottled water I didn't last week, and some serious quantities of alcohol.

Are things weird out there in your RL? Things have been off and exhausting the past couple days. Not sure if its because its the weekend b4 July 4th or there is some special star alignment going on. For the first time I think at this job I did not finish lunch. Bus was late again, so I finished while waiting. (No bench at this stop. ![](https://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff155/JiminiChristmas/ymamsmiles/sad.png) )
