ooh.....that was a major case study in an Engineering Disasters class I took in college. I should look that miniseries up. funny that you talk about this today, yesterday I strayed from SVU or Forensic Files for background noise in favor of something on Discovery that looked at engineering disasters. as for me, I dozed off downstairs again last night watching The Voice. woke up to an alarm I'd set to sign off something after my European counterpart reviewed when he got in to work. I'd planned to shut the laptop down afterward, but he's got a comment the site needs to address before I can sign....and the site isn't online for another couple hours. so I asked my team to just text me once it's all set and I'll pop back on to print/sign. as for my day off, it's sNOwing here today. whatever I thought I was doing today, probably isn't happening the same way I thought. maybe I'll go take a nap.

Did not get the doctors note over to them, because apparently there were questions.
Working on the morning email which is way too talky. Help?
C,
I am sorry the doctor's note did not go out to HR's fax as I was originally told.
They had questions and I missed the text initially. Unfortunately, I am learning the protocol
of this huge practice and did not say the correct words to get to the person who left the message.
So hopefully I will be able to resolve that issue this morning,
The doctor I saw is not in my doctor's practice. I had to see someone in Suite A, who first met me on Dec 1st.
This doctor has no idea either how quickly things will clear up. We will know when we know, but we can IDK, I need better sleep and more of my brain actively working. I know you do not like how I describe my situation, but it is true. Expect to have over 4 hours sleep tonight and by
tomorrow perhaps I can figure out what you really want. What HR really needs.
I however can say, I won't be healthy enough to be in the office this week. I don't read the future so I don't know utimately how it will work out, but my vote is to stay positive and out of fear and aim for as early as reasonable. The first most likely Hail Mary time I can return is Monday Dec. 11.

You can see I need lots of help and right wording to say as little as possible. I know she will be like a control freak conservative boss who feels she is losing control of her office and staff just as she prepares to use her planned vacay for Christmas. O2, my bday twin and current head teller is leaving the bank and the office for good. Our boss definitely contributed to that decision, but it was not the only reason either. His PT job is becoming less satisfying and even the new better living space has annoyed him as well. This will be the second head teller she will lose in less than 16 months. I was going to apply for head teller, but I think my better move is to apply for the IT specialist position to do with whatever resume I can dream up during boughts of coughing , working on my hydration, and neti potting. Maybe I should apply for both to hedge my bets. I am really sick. The only tell for this time of year is I am spending too much. However I usually do to take advanatge of once a year sales. Ordered a shirt which is a print version of a DG2 heathered one I wear. Its on closeout and the current may not be presentable for work soon. I also order Aetrex boots as a winter option for work. Never worn the brand, but have been wanting to try them for over 5 years because they might be a good choice now that the brand Aravon has been sold and no longer carries anything I would want. Brain tired. Need to make breakfast start day 4 of 10 on the new meds. Will clean up mess above time permitting.

But thank you so much for training me how to do better. I did not send what I posted. I hacked it at least in half, I think, but was still too Opti and not as brilliant as what you posted. Does this mean you can post sometimes and bless us with your legal perspective?

TMI +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This company was small until recently. Usual protocol is going through HR when you are very sick and HR updates them. Here you have to go through your boss and occasionally HR acts like a contractor and sends you docs to fil out and send back.
The second HR person is closer to me and age and more reasonable, but if I email her or try to contact her to get protocol rules ... the next thing I know is boss asks did you contact second HR person?! Nevermind, just realized it had to be from my external email which would be flagged just because of security measures.
I finished my Saturday shift on fumes. I did not call out because the other teller was off that Saturday. If we are lucky, the tellers get one Saturday off a month. Because of manager vacays, both of us have worked 6 to 7 Saturdays in a row in addition to our usual M-F schedule.
Heck I started my Saturday shift on fumes.

Pink is coming to StL!!!! My musical and concert budget is out of control. But YOLO, right? She's so worth it! Agreed. I didn't know she was coming here until after the fact. I so would have gone!

Getting ready to go to breakfast with my friend. We get together a couple of times a week for breakfast or just running errands. Makes it more fun to have someone else along and I get to do different things.

Waiting for the organizer to arrive. My bedroom will be in tip top shape by noon.
Then off to pick up my prepared food that is nothing like frozen meals. I know the owner needs a vacation, but I'm going to miss this option while she is gone.

It was utterly mind blowing as to the safety precautions that were broken…..and broken for really trite reasons.

TD has another 8 am meeting. For a part time job, he is putting in full time hours. I think the last 2 days he put in 23 hours.

How bad is it flooding up there, near Sea Tec?
No worries about where out modular is, its high and dry, son gets quite a bit of water when raining like this but he has his crawl space all fixed. But I am worried about flooding,
Ok, leaving for pain management.

Decided to stretch myself. I applied for the senior microbiologist position with Enterprise Micro and then I decided to go ahead and give a shot at an EAP inspector at the Council Bluffs plant. The requirements are pretty short. I have a related degree and I have a lot of experience with lab safety.
My weakness would be I need to get up to speed on manufacturing EAP requirements.
It would be nice to not have to pay Nebraska taxes anymore and the CB plant is even closer to my house.
Since they made it clear in this department I have no chance of promotion, that they intend on keeping me in my current spot forever and the director is heavily biased against my degree I am going to call his bluff and apply elsewhere since I "don't like it". He REALLY needs to stop saying that because there are several of us who plan on doing exactly that given the opportunity.

DQ, I talked to my old contact at NJ DOL, and he reminded me to sell them on what I can do for them. Suss out what they need. Sell that.
I'm going to apply for IT jobs and similar things I would like to do. The trick for me is applying quickly with whatever I have and then hand crafting a custom resume which can be brought to the interview if they choose to even interview you.

Saw some serious swollen river footage on weather.com. We are fine. In fact, it’s not raining now but has for the last several days. We are due for more. The stream bed TD built up last year beside the house is diverting the water away, and I’ve seen it higher. The dogs hate it though, my sister took them out yesterday at 5 am (before she starts work) and it was pouring. The dogs stood at the entrance of the garage as if to say ‘we ain’t gonna go out in that’. She told them they had a mission, poop and pee and they could come back in. Both dogs did both in 4 minutes. They understood.

I'm gonna whine. I have a bunch of vacation to burn and one of my customers is pushing to run two qual builds before the end of the year which is going to take a lot of my involvement and be all stressful and shit. Not happy about it. Especially since the scheduled run days are the next two Thursdays and I had planned on taking the next two Thursdays and Fridays off.

Waiting on FedEx to deliver my new phone. Was projected to be here by 1:40. I have been stalking the tracking because there have been so many items delivered to the wrong address lately. It is another Samsung but one completely different from my last, Note to Z Fold, and I want to get used to it before I travel next week.
