Also depending on how long it's been since you have seen the doctor, they may have destroyed the records. When the tmj drove me to find a new oral surgeon, they wanted my prior records. I figured out who it was and when from my receipts/EOBs. Called only to find out that my records were destroyed since I was last there in 2016. Definitely agree with azucena especially since in my experience the prior records may not even exist anymore. Guessing this is the case…I don’t think I’ve seen a GP since I lived with my parents Anything is possible I guess, but at 20+ years I’m not betting either way. New GP is on the to do list and yes I’ll just fill out the history forms as best I can. But at this point I’m in putting out fires mode-I’ll get to it after I take care of everything that’s more emergent. Probably after DS heads off to college at this rate!

Definitely agree with azucena especially since in my experience the prior records may not even exist anymore. my stuff's definitely been destroyed, then. the last time I saw my GP was right after I left my 1st adult job, but before the health insurance lapsed. I needed a refill on the clonazepam that the job had created a need for. that was 2015. oops. I did go poking around on Google a few months back, she isn't at the same practice, either. so if my records weren't destroyed, would they stay with the practice? or follow the Dr? the practice was a pretty good sized building, with many specialties in different offices within the building. one-stop shopping for most things. the reason I haven't kept up with stuff is that the office was near my old condo, an hour away. I no longer need the clonazepam, I don't take BC, and I'm generally a pretty healthy individual. I also have a massive case of white coat syndrome, and it took me years of arguing with the intake nurses to put my intake BP on a post-it note and I'd ask the Dr to take it again on my way out. my BP goes up when I walk into a medical office, even if I'm not there to be seen. on the handful of occasions I've needed meds (strep, UTI, whatever) since I moved to the Cape, I just go to Urgent Care.

FWIW I didn't have a GP for years. I went to a gyno for women stuff and then I did my yearly blood work through UNMC's wellness program. That worked just fine for me. I got all the information that I needed to get.
I have one now since I don't work for a hospital or hospital affiliated university anymore.

How do I pay this $20 to have UPS bring me packages rather than USPS? It's a UPS My Choice membership. Once you enroll, you can elect to have all incoming packages to you upgraded. It also applies to my DH's packages. I also get tracking and delivery updates. I don't know why but Ulta has been putting signature requirements on some packages lately and not even high value ones. I am able to signature release it and don't have to wait to catch the driver. Thank you. I will do that now.

Ugh. My kid has been sitting on a plane for 2.5 hours waiting to take off and they just unloaded them to get a different plane.

I have no motivation. Maybe if I shake a box of dog treats it'll coming running?

I have another one coming from Lands End that seems to be lost in the system. Over the weekend, it said it was in Dubuque. Now it only says it's en route. Good thing it's for me

We had a massive of snow over the w/e and I must admit, it's quite beautiful. I say that because I don't have to shovel. Today, I went to a presentation by my favourite lecturer, Dr. Joe Schwarcz, who heads up McGill's Office of Science and Society. He covered the history of tomatoes, ginko biloba (don't use it), and saffron. Selling fake saffron in Germany used to be punished by being buried alive. You learn something new every day!

Figuring out where I can sign the paperwork for the condo without having to pay $180 fee. I am in the sticks and let's say that I am confused at the moment. It's going to be a interesting rest of the day.

I have an edit button on every post as a moderator. regular posters are only able to edit their own posts. weltz - is it possible for you to take a screenshot of what you're seeing? I can check on the PB site to see if anyone else has seen this issue.

See, it happened again. It's supposed to be ' of snow'. Can't change it.

well, you wouldn't be able to edit weltz's post, so there shouldn't be an edit button visible to you on her post. I tried to change 'of snow' to ' of snow', and no matter how often I try to edit and hit 'save changes', nothing happens. looking at this particular post, I'm going to guess that something in your original content was an automatically censored word. if you can comment again with what you wanted to say, and put a space in between each letter, I can check the banned list. ETA - I'm not seeing "of snow" as the replacement text for any of the censored words in our list. I'll head on over to the PB support site and see if there's any similar cases.

Okay, I got 98% of the indoor decorations done and DH did a good job on his project. Tomorrow after the grocery run we'll get the outside stuff and the tree from storage and get those up. I got cards at Target this morning so that's another thing I'll do, maybe Wednesday.

D u m p is a dirty word, now? We're going to be in trouble then because we make d u m p cakes, d u m p laundry in the basket, d u m p mulch in the flower beds, and I am definitely d u m p y.
