Pink, do you have a mouthguard? Another issues if you have anxiety you might grind your teeth. Mine get real sensitive when I do and after a week or so of wearing it. They feel better again. The stuff we go through with these bodies of ours.

Mister says I grind my teeth sometimes. I don’t have a mouth guard.

Yesterday, I stopped at the yarn shop to pick up some needles I ordered.  This place is like a candy store for me, I just have to go and fondle everything!  Anyway, they got a new shipment in of yarn, and it’s gorgeous.  I thought about getting enough to start on a sweater, but it is from an independent dyer and there are no lot numbers.  You could clearly see that there was a significant shift in color between the hanks of yarn and I didn't want to have to compare them all to get ones similar enough to make a larger garment.  

This damn store is on m6 way to the grocery store.  That’s not good!

Pink…..if the Sudafed works, you’ll have eliminated the need for a dentist.  I have found my teeth hurt when congested.  It’s usually one and/or the other side of my top teeth, not bottom teeth.

Sister is having cake at mom's for niece's 9th birthday this evening. Her oldest son graduates high school this year. I can't figure out how these kids keep growing up and I stay the same age.

Employees smoke weed so you have to be comfortable it.  Either in general or on premises like cigarettes there isn't much clarification there.

Is it legal in your area?

My MIL insisted that it was the Devil's weed.  Even the mere suggestion of smoking it had her clutching her pearls.  She would have flipped in Boulder where people are smoking it right out in the open.  Let alone having to work with such deviants.

Sadly, not legal in Texas.  If legalized, I wouldn't smoke but would def try edibles.  Oddly, the smoke doesn't bother me like tobacco smoke does.  Even a small whiff of tobacco smoke shuts down my breathing and leaves me gasping.  Weed smoke has zero effect on me.

Hubs is in his room, was in recovery an hour and a half. Doc said he did well and its all good. I don't know what he meant but he said there was one sticky place on the prostrate. I started to ask what he meant and didn't.

But he looks pretty rough right now, he will be ok. He is starting to come out of it better

Back to reality and the car drop off line. Between the 2 kids it can easily take up a full hour. I was going to start having them walk and bike on their own more often, and then a 7th grader was killed biking to school last week which makes me want to keep
handling pickup.

No! Alliums (onion, garlic, chive, leeks) are poisonous to cats.

And apparently to guinea pigs as well. Moonshadow would eat the "chives" of lawn garlic until I discovered how bad they were for him. He can tolerate small amounts but I no longer gather any when I pick dandelion greens.

It was openly smoked in my dorm in 1975.  I used to think it depended on where your were in town and what time of day before someone offered people pot.  I was walking for lunch on the Pearl Street Mall in the 1990's and someone offered me weed.  I was very shocked.  

I was never roommate hunting when I lived there, but lots of looking for roommate ads say must be 420 friendly.  They even say that here where pot is illegal.

Just got my 10th phone call TODAY from my author about the book I transcribed in 2019.  No, I really don't remember whether you wrote certain things.  Yes, I will look over the 400 chapters tomorrow in what is likely a vain attempt to find it.  I finally told him we were going to have adjacent rooms in yee olde nursing home and share a laptop-we laughed together.  This is so weird with a person who petrified me for over a decade as an extremely temperamental and demanding employer.

Today is a really icky day, cold and wet……and not to get any better for a few days.  Glad I hit the grocery store yesterday.

Right now, Harriet is snoring and Sheldon purring on my lap.  The beef is braising for the stew right now, and the veggies all cut up to throw in when the meat gets tender.  It’s a really good day for beef stew.

I have to leave by 745 tomorrow, and my alarm is set for 5am. I need the time to actually wake up and be functional enough to leave the house. I'm not looking forward to peopling the next two days, even if it is at a familiar place. most of the people aren't familiar to me these days, including many of my current coworkers. and, I just don't wanna this week. 😝🤦‍♀️


I still need to pack up leftovers and start the dishwasher. dinner was delish, the leftovers will be tasty. Mom will be here early tomorrow, and I'd like to not leave the kitchen til tomorrow night bc she will "help" with her failing eyesight. I'd much rather she park herself out on the deck with some puzzle books and relax all day.

Oh boy, the anesthesia must have been a truth drug or something.

Hubs told me the dentist said he had a suspicious place in his mouth. I couldn't make out whether he said watch it or what. I will address it later. He told me before I left the hospital. This could be the beginning of more issues I don't know how many he will deal with before he just says hell no, if its so.We will have a lot of follow up appointments for all this now.

I told the doc he will be tough to keep from doing things. I asked when he can drive and he said after the catheter is out so we are talking 7 to 10 days I think. Depends on how he is healing. Hubs said ok but it won't be long. He is so stubborn I'm afraid he will injure himself. Maybe he will be compliant, will just have to see.

I think I'm feeding my kitties and going to bed. May read in there a bit. So far the movies I have tried watching tonight just haven't been the most interesting to me.

But hubs was trying to joke with the nurses just coming out of surgery so he is ok I think.

I must admit, I still love that old guy, sometimes I wonder why, LOL! He sure aggravates me at times.

one of my friends has to drive past this yarn store daily in her commute to work.

I wouldn't be able to do that.
