Good morning, erudite invisipeeps, thoughtfully holding up the world. Welcome to Tuesday. I hope this day rewards your efforts and nourishes your soul.

Dementia is so often cruel. I have heard of one good anecdote about BFF's aunt who suffered from it. Her daughter became engaged and every time she went to visit her mother, 4 or 5 times a week, her mother noticed the engagement ring and exclaimed over it, showing the nurses and other patients and remarking how wonderful the pending wedding was. She was too ill to actually attend the wedding but got a lot of pleasure out of anticipating it.

I got 3 queries to prospective agents for my novel yesterday and plan on getting 4 others out today. I'm planning on sending out 10 this week, then giving it a rest for a few weeks until I start getting responses, or not. We'll see. The best advice I've read about this process is to give it time and while you wait, write more. So that's what I'll do. And take pictures.

I've decided we need to rebrand our nascent business from photography to photography and wall decor. I think that will help possible customers understand better what we offer. I'm going to revise my web site with that in mind.

I have puked twice this morning, though there was nothing to come up but a little bit of water - which I am now chugging even though my stomach still does not seem too happy. No other symptoms other than the dry heaving.

I have a one on one with my manager from 11 to 12, might log off after.

Sad for you both that things devolved and got worse.

Have you thought of getting some of those mats for the bed that keep dogs off? I think both Boy and Mister need the reminder. I hope Mister can let go of his need to put Boy on that bed.

If Mister really needs his dogs that close to him when he sleeps, the dog crate should become his new night stand.  I get it that people want that unconditional love a pet can give.  But at what cost?  Allergies, poor sleep, dirt and dander all over the place where you spend 8 to 10 hours!

It is not fair to the people in the house or the pets in the house when owners refuse to train or clean up after animals.  Add that to the people in the house not cleaning up after themselves, and it does get worser and worser.

Poor Abby.  Last night she got really overwhelmed.  She just kept saying that it was all overwhelming and she just didn't know why she was crying.   She couldn't articulate it to me. 

I am pretty sure I know why it was overwhelming it is the same reason it was for the adults.  As my dad put it "too much death".

She snuggled and slept with us last night and seems to be better this morning.

Poor kid.  It would be a lot for anyone.  Your kids lost two Grandmothers and a Great Uncle in just a year.  Then there is all the stress on you and their grandfather due to your grandmother and GU's Financial issues.  I hope things normalize for your family now.  

Pink - I am sorry you and Mister are still not getting along.  Hopefully things will get better soon.

I got up at 6, walked the dogs, fed the rabbits, tried (unsuccessfully to pay an invoice this am), and got in my car to come to work, only to realize I had a low tire warning.  I stopped at the gas station across from an Amazon warehouse to get air.  The Place was hopping busy and I needed to fight the trucks to get out of the parking lot and head out to work.  Amazon lot was mostly full.  The stuff I ordered from Amazon on Sunday arrived yesterday in 2 packages.  One package was delivered by a young man in a regular car.  I also ordered coffee beans. Oreos in individual packages and Splenda from Sam's Club on Saturday am, it said they would not be delivered until today, but got the package on Sunday (we have Plus Membership so shipping is free).  The Sam's order was also delivered by someone in a regular car.  The box of Oreos is much bigger than I expected, but I decided I can give them out for Trick or Treat.

I'm back! The move was one obstacle after another! I'm shocked I pulled it off. I have movers coming today to get the heavy stuff that I wasn't even trying to moved. I'm way too old to try and haul appliances up stairs at this point. Did I miss anything good? Y'all want to see the raid video now that I don't live at the address they're announcing in it?

Last night was…..interesting.  There were 6 kids under 3 years old at the in laws Thanksgiving, including one that was not quite a month old yet.  Last time I saw all these rug rats, most of them were in carriers!  OMG!  The noise they made!  There was a massive exodus between 7:30 and 8, when all the kids started to crash.  Then the adults got a chance to talk.

The biggest discussion was about TD’s mom.  She had a fall on the patio outside her condo and it turned out she has a compression fracture in her back.  TD’s sister is staying with her now, but she needs to leave next weekend.  She has a large place in northern BC with a lot of horses and other critters and she’s got to get up there and start winterizing before the bad weather arrives.  His step brother and wife leave for Malaysia soon after for 3 weeks, and no one thinks mom will be ready for this yet.  The compression fracture makes it incredibly painful to move.  So when his sister leaves, TD is talking about going up for a bit.  

In the meantime, they are looking at whatever the Canadian equivalent to Life Alert is, and apparent the discussion has started about an assisted living place.  His mom is so damn independent that this is going to be rough, she HATES not being in her own place.  She stayed with us when she broke her wrist and lasted a week here.  I guess she was at stepbrother’s while we were gone, and after 3 days started climbing the walls wanting to go home.  I guess TD and his sister could tag team this for awhile, but the day is coming, and faster than any of them thought.  

I did notice when we got back from the cruise that she’s lost quite a bit of weight (that she did not need to lose) and appears quite frail.

Pink - I hope you're okay today. Relationships are so hard. FWIW, I think you're on the right track taking care of yourself first. You might even tell Mister that's your current plan and how you need to breathe above and beyond anything else.

Y'all it is so quiet at the new place. Someone has a dog that is barking but compared to what I'm used to, I'll take it! I haven't heard a single gunshot! One day we heard a little noise that I chalked up to kids running around outside because it was the weekend. Turns out it was a football game down the street. The new place is close to a HS football field. There was actually nothing coming from the property. Winning!

Interesting development in regards to my grandfather.  He served in Korea he was one of the last ones deployed.  However according to official dates set by Congress he misses the end of the Korean War according to his service dates and was technically in the Vietnam War. 

Which means my grandmother does not qualify for a VA pension so I do not have to go through the hassle of applying.  So win for me.   My dad is a little annoyed at the technicality but agrees we're not going to argue with them about it.  Bureaucratic red tape worked in our favor for a change.

I have bad indigestion this morning, its really bothering me. So I just took some gas relief pills to see if that helps. Must be the meds I took this morning, I take the same ones all the time.

Plan on working DD's recons today, haven't done a ton yet. 

Hubs headed to town to see about getting tires or ordering them for his truck. It has 70k+ miles on it and he said the wear bars are showing so its time. We have $500 in reward dollars, but the tires will be about $1200, but that will help and put them to a good use. He was going to wait, I said please do them before we have all  your issues coming up and they will be done. We like Michelin tires so likely will get those.

I'm going to talk with son. I want to just go with getting DD and grandson gifts and let the rest of of us go. We can just go out to eat more or something like that. None of us needs anything, they don't either but can't do that.

Again I am trying to use up foods in the kitchen freezer. Beating it down a bit at a time. We aren't spending much for groceries right now.

I'm a little sore from falling last night, but will be ok.

At first felt like indigestion, but now its worse and feeling like I too am going to upchuck. But I'm hoping I can burp more, that is painful, otherwise stuff may come up.

Again I am trying to use up foods in the kitchen freezer. Beating it down a bit at a time. We aren't spending much for groceries right now.

We are working on this too, since it is now just DH and I. Realized that I also need to start buying stuff in smaller portions. I have a big bag of noodles from the Amish store that I used to make chicken soup with a couple of weeks ago. I used too many noodles, as I often do, and it still looks like the bag is full. I had cooked enough that we each had 3 bowls over a couple of days. That bag of noodles will last us 5 years.

I thought it was indigestion at first too.

Might be anxiety. That's one of my signs. Took me years to recognize it. I always thought I had a weak stomach. You've been under a lot of stress lately.

Mister wasn’t even in bed! He wasn’t even headed to bed. Boy had just hopped up there, and instead of Mister making him get down, he was on his knees next to the bed, making goo goo faces at him. I love dogs, but I don’t like them on furniture period, and even further, I don’t even like outside clothes on my bed. If I’ve been at work or out all day, I don’t sit on my bed with those same germy clothes on. I reminded him last night that I am allergic to dogs. That was one of the few things I wasn’t allergic to as a child, but when I got tested about 10 years ago, I had developed an allergy to them. And that’s when things went left.

Our entire household is in disarray. There is no structure or cooperation. It’s just a chaotic free for all. And I am out of patience for being compassionate and gentle with an asshole.
