That stupid blue ad is back. Whatever the ad is for (insurance, I think) I wouldn't buy, because this ad annoys the crap out of me. It's slow to appear and takes 2 clicks, to close completely. I haven't heard any drumming yet today. YAY! Jumanji the insurance version? I've never seen it. (Movie, right?) I don't even know what it's about. But maybe? 😁

Browsing target while waiting for dd15 hoco dinner. Need to drive them from restaurant to school. She took me up on filling the van as there are 6 of them.

Right now, I’m doing this. Earlier I was walking along here. That’s DH in the middle of the sand. View from inside the trailer. That’s the ocean on the left behind the trees. I feel REALLY BAD for you! 😉 🤣 in fact I feel so bad for you that I am turning green LOL

She went with theater kids. One is spending the night at our house bc DD learned she wasn't going to attend hoco bc she busses in from the city for school and didn't have a ride home after. Will be taking her home after church tomorrow. Offered for them to skip but they said they'd go with us to late service.

Poor Simon! He was just here, and can't stop crying. "I could have saved him! If I knew what Ryan was going to do, I could have saved him!" No dear, you could not have. Poor kid. We're going to my sister's tomorrow for her big Thanksgiving bash, and I don't know if he'll be able to keep it together.

I think he would benefit immensely from talking to people who have or are in his position.

Visiting my mother. She’s having trouble making new memories e.g. asking the same questions multiple times over the course of a day and can’t remember to say “Hey Siri” but seems mostly pretty functional for now. DS was super proud of cooking salmon with brussels sprouts and potatoes for her…just don’t ask how much actual cooking he did He did eats a couple of the brussels sprouts which is more than I hoped for. He hit the local kids museum with DH and we all went to the cider mill. Mostly having an ok time but I am really kind of flabbergasted at how excessively rude some people are. From the woman who tried to cut in exiting the plane to the driver who blew past the stop sign to cut me off, the hotel maid who apparently decided to throw our stuff on the floor when he/she made the beds (PJs left in bed AND backpack/duffel that had been on the nightstands) the USPS truck driver that blew through a red light several seconds after the fact…and our lovely upstairs neighbors who were apparently stomping around doing aerobics for a couple of hours, even after complaining to the front desk then asking if we could move rooms. We’ve been here a little over 24 hours

We had molasses soy honey Brussel sprouts at a restaurant.
I recreated at home. We love sprouts to begin with but I'm convinced that marinade might even get my dad to eat them.
I coat them and then roast them so it soaks in and they caramelize.

I'm worrying about hubs test this coming Friday. I'm going with him and hope to hear the results that day and when his surgery will be.
I think he is getting concerned too. He told the election person he can't work this year because of upcoming surgery but nothing more.
And I'm going to have to tell the renter we are not selling him that property on payments. When we put it up for sale, if he wants to buy it he can go like anyone else, we are not breaking apiece of the property off to sell. I tole hubs don't even consider it and he or I will be into it. We need the money from this stuff, all we can get to help us buy a place out there and move. I'm tired of hearing about it.
I turned the furnace up tonight to 71 and finally heard it run a few minutes. It's 47 out already and is to get in the 30's at night soon. So I think it's time.
Goodnight all, way past my bedtime, it's 2ish.

Good morning, thinking and thoughtful invisipeeps, considering the power of each day. Welcome to Sunday. I hope yours involves some rich let-it-go belly laughs, so hard you might fart a little, which makes you laugh harder. Our meal with 2 of my DBs, DSisil, DSis and nephew, niece and family, was magical. DD came after all. The leaves had not turned much yet where we were in New Hampshire, so no real loss that it rained. We'll go leaf peeping later this week. I need to think of something for DH's birthday on the 22nd. And I miss my DS. Wish we'd been able to see him last month. Today will be sunny, unlike yesterday. At the beach in the early morning the tiny dinosaurs, herring gulls, perch on the rocks and face the rather stiff wind, just waiting.

I did turn the heat on last night, but it never kicked on. It is 42 degrees outside and 67 in the house. Told DH I set it low, he saw me turn it on anyway, and we brought the spider plants in for the winter. The next couple of nights will be in the 30s.
He is worried about my mental health and let me know that he is keeping an eye on me. I don't do well when the weather turns cold. Definitely need to call the doc about my vitamin D prescription.

OTC Vitamin D is not sufficient for you? No. I take both prescription and OTC. During summer I can normally get by with OTC, because sunlight. I need both in winter, because sun is scarce here - and that is with using my sun lamp. SAD is very real.

Mixed and poured it all over the sprouts and tossed them. Threw them in a 450 oven till they were brown and crunchy.

Like 4 pills instead of 1. And this week getting over cold, I've done 4 pills twice a day bc I know I get depleted when I get sick and it trashes my anxiety.

I'm addicted to thrift store picking videos now.
Have mixed feelings on it. If you can make a profit off flipping what others consider junk at a thrift store more power too you.
I mean I'd that's what whoever bought grandma's glassware is doing awesome. I want it to find homes instead of being in a landfill if they are more successful at it than I am props to them.
At the same time it's part of what drives up prices overall and makes it hard for people who need affordable options to shop.

DD and I both take scrips for Vit D. It's a once a week pill.
I'm up, put clean dishes away. Going to make up the bed, fold some clothes, eat, and go to the trailer to vac and mop down there. We are getting it ready to store things in we want to save. When we are ready we will pack the house down there too and leave most of it there except tools. There will be enough room to store the things we want to keep until we can buy and move, so not a quick process. And hubs is worrying he may not be able to help. I told him don't worry, I will find people to hire to help me, if need be..
Son said he might have to make a trip down to haul things up and I can make one or two trips, but I won't do more than that. Some of this stuff won't be worth taking. And I doubt it can be sold, people here are just not buying things.

I take 2 each week and 4 of the OTC every day. When I first started with the script it was included with regular bloodwork, which is how it was discovered that I had issues with absorbing it through foods and even sunlight. About 5 years ago most insurances stopped covering it under regular bloodwork unless you had a documented reason. I only knew because I saw a different doctor in the same practice and it was not on the initial bloodwork. I asked about my level on my visit and that is when I was told about the new requirement. I think it applies to vitamin B too, which I take a shot for every 3 weeks.

My heat kicked on this morning. I also ran the space heater for the first time this fall when I took my luxurious Sunday shower.
My health has been such a mess since February, that I haven't felt like taking a luxurious shower. Maddow wanted in with me. He doesn't realize the door is not heavy and he could push it open. I'd rather have a wet cat than all the toilet paper unrolled.
