Meet with the Nutritionist/trainer lady today. I was 154.6 on her scale. Since I have less then 20lbs to lose to reach the goal of 140 we will stay with the weight loss plan for now, instead of cycling into a maintain for few months and back to weight loss. We talked about watching stress eating this month But also not to hold it against myself when I go out. We also discussed my trip, and healthy foods to keep in the car/camping. I go in May for my check up and she wants me to request a whole panel of vitamins/mineral testing to check levels on them, and let her know if there is anything low so we can look for any diet adjustments. We also talked about when I hit my goal, how to adjust my work outs for less cardio and more muscle building, but will focus on that when we meet again at the end of June.

Going back to normal. I was in the office the last two days instead of working from home. Got Subway Wednesday and Chinese yesterday. Then I got take out on my way back since I worked long hours and was home late. I had the healthy breakfast this morning, and preparing healthy lunch now.
I've been struggling with exercise. The nutritionist said it's because my goal of exercising 5 days a week is too ambitious and I feel down when I fail to accomplish it. So she said instead I should have a goal of 3 days a week. I've done 2 so far, but I've also been in the office 2 days, with a long commute which is a time suck. Hope to do the 3rd day of exercise tomorrow morning.

5 days a week is ambitious. I was able to do it in the fall when my case load was lighter/easier. End of Jan that changed. I am not making it to the gym at all this week. So be it, I am exhausted, granted more mentally when I get home and really don't want to people. So I am just using my dumb bells and doing some sit ups, leg lifts at home while watching TV or you tube. Maybe try and figure out some things you can do at home?

I'm meeting up with a friend to go on a walk after work today. We'll probably end up at dinner after, but at least I'll have worked up an appetite first Regardless, I like having a walking buddy, so I hope this works and we start doing it more regularly!

I am going to walk to town and have a beer at the local brewery and listen to some live music. Hopefully the walk to and back will balance out the pint.

156 today, so down 4 lb. Made thee gym 3 days, worked out at home the other days. I believe I took my vitamins each day. Thursday dinner wasn't the healthiest, I ended up doing my pool matches Thursday night instead of today, since the youngest had soccer today, so I got dinner there. Today my youngest and I ate out after the soccer games, not the healthiest either. I have flounder to at least start me off for dinners for this week. Monday I am getting a massage after work, so I won't get to the gym then. Okay goals for this week---- Watch the calories and eat healthy Make it to the Gym T/W/Th/Fr Take my vitamins each day I have 10 weeks before my trip starts to get into as much shape as I can. 154 today. Down 2lb. This weekend has not been the best for eating healthy. Ended up with a late night Sushi snack after walking home from the brewery Friday, and last night I ate 1/2 a pizza, appetizers, and bread pudding at the drag show with my aunt. The rest of the week I did well. Did not make it to the gym at all. Missed the vitamins last night. I have been taking them with dinner and since I went out didn't think of it when I got home. Okay goals for this week---- Watch the calories and eat healthy Work out at home-- The Gym may just need to wait until May. Take my vitamins each day I have 9 weeks before my trip starts to get into as much shape as I can.

Starting April at 202.7, down a pound from last week. My rob is getting better, so I paid for an exercise app, which I hope encourages me to use it. It's only like 15 minutes a day, but will get me moving in new ways.

Just checking in. I'm maintaining the 33-pound loss, in spite of the fact that I've got a cold/sinus thing going on right now, and the last 2 days I've walked 2 miles instead of 3. Just don't have the energy right now to do more, but at least I'm not going backwards, at least not yet.

I managed to get a lot of exercise over the weekend. Some planned, some not. Which is GREAT. But then in reaction to that, my body was sending signals of "I NEED ALL THE FOOD" so I've also eaten a lot. Mostly healthy, but also a lot of carbs in there, haha.
Goals for this week: more slowly ramp up the exercise so that I don't just eat back all the calories I burn.

For eating today, I gorged on the baked goods the students made during their Monday cooking class. They did a great job making cake pop and sugar cookies--both from scratch.
I did get cardio in Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
My spring term college classes started last week. I'll be able to work out on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during April and May and the first two weeks of June.

I spent a week at my parents. It was terrible for my weight. I'm up to 182 lbs. I'm home now and getting back on track.

I'm not in a good place right now.
Just had a session with my therapist. This is the second time I'm worse emotionally when we finish than when we started. He said that may happen and it's normal, because we're discussing issues that are problematic for me.
Today he asked how Im doing with eating healthy food. I told him, I'm struggling, it's a constant uphill battle, I hate the feeling of deprivation because I have to eat certain foods and not others I enjoy more, and I feel completely inadequate each time I fail. I'm failing a lot lately. He kept asking questions, making suggestions that won't work for me, and the whole session was taken over by talking about healthy food.
The nutritionist is not helpful. Talking to the therapist is not helping either with this issue. I just want to give up. I'm exhausted and I constantly feel like a failure.
No matter what the nutritionist says, I'm not buying another package of four sessions with her. She did what she can do. Continuing sessions won't change anything.
I'm angry with myself for allowing the therapist to take over the session and continue to talk about the same topic when there's a million other things I need to address. Yes, the food issue is important, but I'm stuck and I'm tired of talking about it.

And my organism doesn't help. I'm not blaming it for my weight problem, but it isn't any sort of help. My mother came over last summer. She's thin and has no weight related health issues at 79 years old. We spent three months together. We ate the same food. I exercised an hour a day when she was here. Three months later, I hadn't lost one pound and she hadn't put on one single pound.

I spent a week at my parents. It was terrible for my weight. I'm up to 182 lbs. I'm home now and getting back on track. I understand. My parents are gone now, but Mom was a very good cook. Plus, she'd always push food at meals, saying it was better to eat "real food" than to snack. The problem is, I tend to be a grazer, so I'm better off eating a small meal, and then having healthy snacks, than eating a big meal, and being tempted between meals.

For yesterday, eating was decent except for the wine I had. I did cardio. Total step count for Tuesday was 8,381.

I hope the rest of the week gets better.

Hugs to everyone who needs one! I'm back to 5-8 different vegetables daily. I'm also going to try apple cider vinegar w/ the mother for gut purposes per a friend's suggestion. And I've started journaling again for mental and emotional reasons. I go in to see the doc this Friday per his request for RX refill purposes.

I'm down to 179.4 lbs already. I've gotten back on my intermittent fasting schedule and managed 3 walks yesterday before it started raining.

No, the capsules have no taste at all. Kinda big but very easy to swallow. Some of the gummies actually taste pretty good, apple flavor. I prefer the capsules since the cost is much less and come with more in the bottle so don't need to buy as often.

Went to the doc this a.m. as I mentioned earlier this week. O2 is good. BP a bit high, but I blame last night's whiskey. And yes, he lectured me about the sugar content of hard alcohols which of course I already knew. But, best of all I am down 10 pounds, despite most doctor office's scales being "mean." He approved of my 1,200 calories a day consumption for weight loss purposes. Thanks for being here, everyone. Have a fantastic week.
