I see Liberty Mutual has a training program for underwriters, fully remote, starting in June. Maybe I should apply.
Does anyone know if this is a good employer?

In general, insurance companies still take good care of their employees. DS is at one that still has a pension plan! Check Glassdoor.com. They have employee reviews although you may be required to supply your salary when you register. Of course that also gives you access to aggregate salary data for your level of responsibilities and experience at Liberty and other companies.

I'm approaching the end of my career coaching and I have to say that it has been worth it to me. I went into it not expecting much but she has really helped lift me out of the slump/depression I have been in going back probably to 2015 if I really stop to think about it. It's only gotten worse since I left the university and had no real direction because my entire career path was based on academics up to that point.
I will say I did get incredibly lucky finding someone right out the gate that fit my needs. I did when looking try to avoid anyone who sounded like they swallowed a self help novel or put a lot of emphasis on "testing". I found someone that had a lot of reviews from people who are mid career level like me and are trying to plot out the next half of their working careers.
I need to make sure I put a copy of the latest worksheet in my safe. It has a list on one side of everything I bring to the table and on the other what I want an employer to bring to the table. The second part is where having someone guide me has been invaluable because she really made me verbalize it and get specific with it. It's hanging out in my purse right now because I needed it for my interview but it'll go in the safe when I get home and I have an electronic copy.
The last session will be about looking outside my current field based on what I have listed in my worksheet. That will be long term work because I'll need to practice tailoring my resume.
The last three and a half years really did a number on my self esteem and psyche. It has been nice to have someone recognize I do have value and I am a damn good employee and not only that but get ME to recognize that again.
So I would say that I would recommend looking into it for someone who is in a slump and I imagine it's potentially even more valuable for a new grad who needs help selling what little/if any work experience they have.
