I'm still winning at $2.50/month. True. But it was worth it to me, to not have to go back and forth. And my increase was less than a dollar per month. If you get it for $2.50, I'm going to be SO jealous!

I called and it couldn't have been easier. I told them I wanted to cancel because of the price and they offered me the promo price for the next 12 months. Could have kept the platinum at $8.99 + taxes but I don't listen to any of the talk radio so went down to the $5.99 + taxes plan which gives me all the music. Comes out to like $7.27 a month which I'm more than happy with.

It's kind of ridiculous that we have to go through all this just to renew for a reasonable price.

Unbeknownst to be, my Amex card has a cash back offer on streaming, which includes Sirius, through December 31, so I got a $3 credit on my statement, so for 3 months, it's costing me $4

H. reupped ours for one year then we brought my 2011 car to AZ that won't accommodate Sirius. We can listen on phones or computer. IDK the price.

Sirius tends not to send renewal notices. It's something I write only calendar.
I also listen to Apple Music.

Is there a channel, anyone has found, that plays only, or mostly, the popular songs from the recent Disney movies/cartoons? I keep trying to find a kids channel, for my 3 and 5 year old granddaughters. I have yet to find one. I find names of channels, I think might work, but when I tune to them, they make me a maniac, in less than 3 minutes! And they hardly sound like kids music.
Suggestions?
Thanks!

Do they have iPads? I don't know what DN1 subscribes to for the Toddler, but there's a big variety of videos on there. They are able to choose the videos they don't want him to see and block them. He gets to watch educational videos. That's where he learned the square root song and he was able to get the concepts without the song.
He used to watch them a lot but now it's a just before bedtime activity.

My kids love the Disney station - it does play older songs and songs from Disney TV shows and movies though, in addition to newer songs. It's a crapshoot, but overall, I think it is enjoyable. Ch 133 We also love Kidz Bop station - it plays current-ish (from past 5 years) mainstream hits, but with all the bad words removed. The songs are also sung by kids. Ch 135. My kids love Kidz Bop so much that we just went to see them in concert!

I just renegotiated yesterday, went from $88 a month to $35, but we have 3 cars and a portable on Sirius. The one car had the promo stop and went to $48 was why it was so high. I had 2 at $7 something till next May just changed one. Now they have an offer of $9.08 that does not expire, so 3 are now at that and no. 4 is the $7, so now $35 a month. Yes we all use Sirius and love it on our cars, hubs uses the portable in his garage. Kind of a waste for the one in Washington but $9 isn't going to kill us.
DD behavior person got her today, they were gone 2 or 3 hours, she enjoys getting DD. Since she is vocal and able to interact and have fun too, I'm sure its a pleasure, some of the young people have so many issues, they both have fun. She even calls to see if she can get her, LOL! She is a wonderful person, has 3 kids of her own, but yet seems to have room for all. I was worrying about getting my house cleaned up before I leave. We were in the garage and she laughed and said you know you don't have to clean before, just do it when you come back. She tells me her house is a mess, might be, unless she has help can't see how she does it.
So tonight got Smoke's flea treatment on him and his nails trimmed, next will be Tiggy, he is a challenge. And tonight do DD's, another challenge, LOL!
I went down and changed the furnace filter, wasn't bad, could have skipped it. I also packed decorations for the tree to mail. I am buying a white one so I packed blue and gold decorations as they look very pretty on it. Here I still have decorations for an all red tree, one with green and red, and purple. I like to change them. I brought up Santa and a snowman, hubs said why? I put Xmas wreaths on the doors. I wanted to put 2 strings of light on the porch and hubs says no. Well Bah, Humbug to him too. I am buying decorations for the doors up there, mine here are getting ragged and need replaced. The wind here can be brutal on them. I am usually all decorated here, doesn't look or feel right.
Son called and wanted to know if we would want to go to the ballet of the NutCracker in Olympia. Well of course, so he bought tickets for DIL, grandson, DD, and I. He is like his dad, he didn't want to go. I used to take DD to plays and performances in downtown Houston, we loved it. But I got to where driving at night was an issue. And there really wasn't taxi service from where we lived to things like that. We always lived to far out to utilize services like that. That is a nice present.
Made meat loaf for dinner, I used a package mix of seasoning, not bad at all. Mine never tastes that great. Hubs tell me just catsup in it that was how his mom made it?? Surely not.
Well shower time for me, so better get that done. Need to pack some more for DD and send son our schedule.
He was supposed to be off the whole month, but he has been working the last few days. He has all kinds of time off and said it is really hard for him to take it, he has so much to do. So I know he is losing some of it anymore, he used to get paid if he didn't take them but anymore he just loses it. I can't remember what he told me, seems like he has something like 6 weeks off a year. I can't even imagine.

I just did the negotiation dance today as well. I never remember to do it before renewal, either. anyway, it's $144/yr plus US royalty fees of ~$30. that's half price from the original invoice, it's ridiculous that you have to waste your time to call in for something they will so readily just give you. whatever. it's now done til next December.

I don't know why we have to do the song and dance either. Will have to see what they offer me when the $7.78 per month runs out.
I am just happy a high school friend told me to do this as I had been paying full price for too many years.

Annoyed at myself. I have been so lost in my own head, I neglected to notice that our promotional subscription ran out and reverted to full price. I got one bill for $52.61; we have two platinum accounts. AT least I coudl take care of all of it via IM on the website. It's back down to 10.91 a month for each account, so $21.92/ month for both cars, apps on both phones, and internet use for every channel.
So annoying. I know they do that because so many people don't pay attention to their auto-withdrawal subscriptions.
At first, the rep attempted to convince me to not start the subscription until the end of my billing cycle. Nope, buddy, I see right through that. Start it today and give me my money back!

Chloe - you've had your hands full. Say oh well, it's fixed now and move on.
Someone want to explain if Sirius is better than Amazon music? With amazon, I can pick exact artist and song.

With Sirius, you play a channel. It was meant to replace FM radio. They pick the songs. There are also internet only channels.
I also have Apple Music. Alexa is set to play 60's music until 11 AM and then play David Crosby 5 days a week.
I vary my music on the weekend.
