Thank you friends! That's another reason we are so excited to get vaccinated! Knee Deep in Water Chloe I mentioned it on the vaccination thread, because it's one of the reasons we are so impatient to be vaccinated (so we can hopefully travel to the UK). dannylion I'll be thinking of you tomorrow! I think you're in the PNW, so hopefully DH and I will both be vaccinated by 1 am your time! Hugs empress of self-improvement . This weekend- PT appt/Fri - pharmacy/Fri - Shitepile/Sat- mark 8 papers I FINALLY did Shitepile! Then we went for a walk. Not too long because of my back, but it was good to get out. I realized I put my back out moving the leaves for the new table. Kids here for lunch tomorrow (except for DS3 who is in the UK). No other plans, in case we feel sick. Worst-case scenario, they make lunch. ;-) I ran/emptied the dishwasher. I only have 2h of class on Monday, and 3h on Tuesday. That's very unusual, but great timing! I need to do the marking by Wednesday.

We cleaned the bedding closet today - 4 old pillows and a bunch of mismatched sheets, pillowcases & one comforter have been moved to the car for donation. 2 office chairs are also in the ready to go pile.
We also consolidated a lot of the personal care stuff (put all like items in separate totes) and have put together a box of items which can be donated. We are waiting on the usual email we get from them in March/April.

today I am going through some boxes my parents brought down when they sold their house. the box I'm in now is notebooks and binders from my junior year in college. it's taking awhile, bc our ID number used to be SSN. so any submission had that on the cover sheet. 😳 I was also an officer in some clubs, so I have paperwork for classmates as well. I'm taking care to shred everything with an ID # on it.
ETA: I'm going to list all the binders and half notebooks on the local buy nothing page once I get through all of it. I gave a binder to mooch last weekend when I thought it was just the one. this box had 6, plus a bunch of spiral notebooks with life still left in them.

I am going to see if our neighbor would like to have all the Monster High dolls. I will have them look at them and see if they would like to give them as Christmas presents from the church. I don't know if kids would like them, they are all sealed in boxes still and must be 30 or more of them. Also some of the stuffed animals. He was saying they will take clothing for a yard sale and other items, but I'm already given most of that away. I don't care if I sell it, just want the things to go to people that will use them.
Hubs is making progress in the basement, the outside wall is insulated and has drywall now. He is working in the closet, I helped him put up the ceiling at the landing underneath. Then he is putting a back in it. In there are a few concrete areas we will paint. It has a big area for suitcase storage and will have a small clothes rack. The kids can use it for their bedroom and the twin bed will be in the other side for little guy. Closet and room will have doors. Sadly they will rarely be here I'm sure. But that's ok, there will be a place whenever they are.

I know you went to college a few years after me, but my undergrad and grad school IDs both were my SSN. I remember carefully cleaning out that stuff years ago.

Hi Kids! The contractor FINALLY finished up the project that was begun before we moved back here. Now, while threading the wiring through the garage to our electrical box, we've discovered a portion of our garage wall that connects to the house has NO insulation. (Bad builder!) So, I'm going to give him a new project of putting in the insulation, so hopefully our basement will feel warmer in the Winter.

I made good progress on the house this weekend (it’s been cold so working outdoors is on hold) and cleared off the table. The floors are cleaner and I’ve organized all the tubs for my fabric which will shortly become quilts.
Today I’ve got to come up with some goals for March and have no idea what to aim for - hopefully it won’t be as cold as February was but I’m thinking of setting low expectations lol

They switched our ID numbers before I finished undergrad. I think I still have a crate left to sort.
I caught up on several months worth of shredding yesterday. DH scrubbed my bathroom down. Next weekend I will work on putting things away. He wanted to fasten the cabinet to the wall first.

Posted this on the "vaccinated" thread. It was indeed too good to be true, there was a misunderstanding and the doctor only had one dose for both of us. So I got vaccinated, and we go back next Sunday for DH. It was VERY disappointing. A week is nothing, if things work out for DH's shot. But I'm worried about another "misunderstanding". We had a lovely day with 3 of our 4 kids. DS1 is back in Paris for 2 nights to be closer to his office and his grandfather, he comes back here on Tuesday. Sadly their grandfather is not doing well. I've told both schools that I'll be back as of 21 March. I'm waiting the 3 weeks for optimal protection from the first shot. But I'm not waiting for the second shot (in May). After 3 weeks I will be 76% protected and at this point, that's good enough for me. (We may also end up locked down again. We shall see.) But I'll be VERY happy to go back if I can! I really miss my friends/colleagues/students. Sharon how are you and yours doing? We haven't had news for a while. I hope all is well. This week - bottle bank/Mon - mark 8 papers

Hold me to this for tomorrow. Even hoops and volleyball this weekend.
I must open the Amazon Warehouse that lives in my mom's recliner. I must see if I can figure out a way to package up 3 items of clothing to send to Toronto. I don't know why I am dreading this.
My niece-in-law has a shopping addiction and the shipping to Canada and the duty are too expensive for her. So I have boxes and boxes that have been shipped here. She wants three items of clothing shipped to her if it will go for a certain amount of postage. One of the boxes that I am to open was shipped to me from the UK. Now I am to open it and send the stuff to her.

debthaven -- So glad that you got your first vaccine. Sorry that your DH couldn't get his but at least an appointment for next week is better than none. Congrats on the new granddaughter. Will you have the second one before you go to the UK to see her when she arrives. startsmart -- you always have so many ongoing projects. So glad that you are making such amazing progress on all of them. I have been making a little progress and I stress the Little. House is pretty much in order and I am continuing to find things to donate or trash. So that is continuing even on a smaller scale than I would wish. Took a little break from most of my projects this past week. I do need to finish that necklace set -- less than an hour of work left on it. Need to get some work done with the polymer clay so that I can finish those items this week. Last class on that is this week and I need to get some of that prepped prior to the class. Best part of this is that I have been able to use clay that has been in my stash for a while and did not have to purchase anything for this class. Upcoming March 1 - 7:*Blood work -- Monday -- currently fasting for it *Class -- Tuesday *Lunch with friend -- Wednesday *Classes -- Thursday *Finish necklace set *Take photos of new projects *New craft project begin *Organize at least three areas *Maintain current progress *

thanks moneysquirrel, it doesn't feel like a lot of progress until I look back because most days I want to do 50-60 more things that don't get done. Oh well! Today's accomplishment was some grocery shopping, writing a proposal for a new client and developing more of the course I need to release this week. All with a dog stubbornly sitting on my lap.

Not much in the way of decluttering, but I did get my entire house cleaned and looking orderly today. It's so nice to go into the week feeling put together.

Took niece in law's package to post office and it's more in shipping than she had wanted to pay. Sent her a picture of package and cost. Now it's up to her.
About halfway done with my Amazon Warehouse. Have a few other things I need to do today.

It's been awhile since I've posted a "real list" of things accomplished. I've shared before about my wanting to address my procrastination list, and what a relief it is to get those items done. Well, I am pleased to have done the following here at the office over the past few weeks: ~Moved the water bottle delivered two months ago. ~Trimmed the heck out of the large plant-so many dead branches/leaves and it was looking quite shabby. ~Processed approximately 8 files from the pending drawer.
~Applied plant food to all plants.
~Took care of the batch filing which had been sitting on the back filing cabinet since last summer. ~Moved a few boxes to the back out of the eyesight of clients. ~Processed returned 2021 calendars. ~Compiled 2020 receipts and other documents for tax purposes and took them home to start e-filing. ~Refilled insurance ID card holders, business cards, etc. in my desk drawer. ~Refilled the client candy jar. ~Checked client pens to ensure none were dried out. Tossed one.
~For feng shui purposes, I moved a floor lamp to the opposite side of the office. It looks better there. ~Speaking of, I turned on the mini fountain for the first time in months. Well, I tried anyway as it didn't work. The pump went out so I took it to DH to investigate over the weekend. The inside is rusted, so it's time for a new one. ~Swept. It looks 100% better. ~Investigated a certain list of clients for a book roll. I had been putting this off for months, and it took approx 20 minutes. ~Tomorrow I'll call the building maintenance person about the sticking lobby door which has been months. On a personal note, last week I called our mortgage company about removing PMI, emailed my car dealer about a new key chain (I got one, yay!), and made a few other calls. ETA: And over the weekend at home, I put away Valentine's Day things, and pulled out St. Patrick's Day and Easter items.
For upcoming spring cleaning, I'll focus on purging my desk drawers and kitchen cabinets.

Got a lot accomplished today!
-Dropped off my latest fabric swap at the post office (international shipping eek) -Got my car tags renewed -picked up the slightly longer screws for difficult to finish electrical outlets -added the new seeds to my spreadsheet so I can see what I've got -unloaded all of the lumber for the raised garden beds -picked up 2 sample paint colors for the garage -picked up my mail from the post office
I also had a long client call going over the results from their launch last week where I had to share a lot of numbers and did a pop in hot seat with a colleague reviewing business websites for her members. I am exhausted and it's only mid afternoon so I might just go take it easy and go to bed early tonight.

Sharon how are you and yours doing? We haven't had news for a while. I hope all is well. Life is kind of kicking me in the teeth at the moment, so I haven't been posting as much and certainly not doing anything could remotely be considered decluttering. My Dad passed away on Saturday the 20th and I had surgery on Monday the 22nd. The week prior to that we had a major ice storm and while I was only out of power for about 48 hours Mom was out of power for a week and ended up staying with me. The kids also moved the weekend Dad passed. DD made the 4 hour drive multiple times that week between moving, helping me with surgery and then Dad's service. Because of the Covid restrictions we just had a graveside service for Dad.

Oh no Sharon, I am so terribly sorry to hear about your father. Is your mother planning to stay in the house? I know you spend a LOT of time helping her. I hope your surgery went well. I'm sure it's even harder with your kids further away. PS We posted at the same time so I didn't see your post until after I posted mine.
