On another thread, several of us realize our pre-pandemic and early-pandemic products aren't cutting it anymore now that we see folks in person without masks. I don't do foundation, but love tinted moisturizer which gives me just a hint of color and coverage. Any recommendations? Although I never tried it, I have heard rave reviews about IT Cosmetics CC cream. I have a Hey Honey Color Correcting Cream that is pretty good. I don't do liquid foundation. I use a Bare Minerals powder foundation over a super moisturized face.

What's the best way to treat and prevent blackheads? Dd13 keeps developing them on her nose and they are large enough to be noticeable. I used to get bumps and little pimples on my nose. Paula's Choice made some good exfoliants that helped. My favorite was a BHA gel exfoliant. But . . . . I am WAYYYY past 13 years old. Paula's Choice website has some blackhead options on "skin concerns". You could get some ideas there.

It's wonderful that it comes in different colors and with a sun screen and redness cancelling option. Pricey but really worth it. I have very sensitive skin.

I'd say exfoliate once or twice a week, gentle cleanser other days and moisturize. But know that even the best skin care routine won't touch hormonal acne. Ds didn't like retin a so I'm working on getting him in for an oral medication for acne. I passed on the worst of my genes.

During the Sephora sale I bought Biossance Rapid Radiance Set. Meh - it's okay. I wouldn't run out and buy full-size of any.
I am a sucker for value and gift sets.

ymam.proboards.com/thread/66072/wear-makeupthyme4change, you might get more answers here. It depends on what you want to do with the serum. I mix one serum with a face lotion. Another, I really one want one spot on my face to have the serum. A third, I put on my collarbone area.
What serum did you buy?

DD13 has wanted to try acrylic nails for a long time so I told her I'd take her for graduation. Opened the invite to her friends and 5 of them went with us. One pedicure, 4 manicures and her set of acrylics later and they are all feeling grown up. Dd13 loves hers.
The salon owner has a dd in 3rd grade with dd9 that I coached in bball so she insisted on doing my nails too. I have a very nice gel French acrylic manicure - my first ever. Wondering how it will hold up while I fish this long holiday weekend LOL.

You guys - I'm allergic to my deodorant. Bought two other kinds marked as sensitive last night at Target and they are also scorching my pits. HELP!

A lot of the "natural" deodorants have sensitive formulas that don't have baking soda. I'd probably try one of those next. They aren't as good as the clinical antiperspirants, but I use one from smarty pits (not the sensitive choice though) when I'm at home and/or not likely to get smelly sweaty.

Ooh, sorry about the pits, azucena . THis article is relatively recent and may be of use for you: hypoallergenic deodorants. For me, I need the antiperspirant, too, or just sit in sweat.

Have you found any ingredients they all have in common? Then maybe try something that has none of them? My doctor has told me for people with allergies, the less ingredients the better.
Sorry and hope you find something that works for you.

My armpit hair is now so sparse I don't bother shaving it and I'd read a long time ago that the odor is really from bacteria that gather in armpit hair. I do plenty of exercising, working in the garden under hot and sweaty conditions, outdoor walking and bicycling, etc. and I never notice any bad smells, so I don't bother with deodorant.

You are lucky. I bath thank you very much and I shave but I sweat, especially as I get older and my hormones change. My normal flora proceed to have a party So I need antiperspirant or I and everyone around me are miserable. It is not something I can control. I cannot use all natural deodorant or anything scented. Those aresol.48 hour ones are also a problem. I stick with Secret Outlast stick. It works great and no reaction. I

I wear dove deodorant. I can't imagine not wearing deodorant. You might want to ask someone who will be honest if you smell. You might just be used to the odor and people around you are being polite.

You guys - I'm allergic to my deodorant. Bought two other kinds marked as sensitive last night at Target and they are also scorching my pits. HELP! I went through that for a few years. I used one of those organic rock deodorants. Looked like a giant crystal and I bought it at an organic food co-op. It worked OK but was so much better than the burning from regular deodorants. After 4 or 5 years, I went back to regular deodorants and never had the problem again. I can't remember the name of it. Just where I got it, that it was all natural, and what it looked like. Sorry.

I think it's all genetics. I used to follow a cyclist group when I was trying to bike to work and their big thing was clean sweat doesn't smell which is definitely not the case for me. I swear I can get smelly just getting out of the shower. But age could play into that as well. I'm certain neither of my grandparents wore deodorant the last 10 years and they never smelled bad.

Had my first skin scan at dermatologist- all good. Still having armpit rash. She said it's detergent since it's on outer edges. Switch to all free and clear and rewash everything. Fun!
Asked about acne prevention for dd13. She said to use Cera ve with peroxide. Ordered it and made first available new patient appt in Jan. Dr said she doesn't like her teens to have any acne, they have enough problems. I liked her. Will likely make DHs skin scan appt with her, Wanted to be sure he was OK with female Dr for that. Betting she will prescribe something for his continued acne.

I ordered eyebrow and eyelash dye. It's supposed to last 1000 hours. According to the reviews, it does and is easy to use. Since I'm shrinking down, and as my skin ages, I'm getting little wrinkles around my mouth. I get a lot of sun exposure in that area even with sun block.
For a couple of years, I haven't been using make up. Then I started my brows.

andi9899 do you have any of the Morphe Vegan Pro brushes? I see them in the Ulta ad book. I need to replace my older brushes. They look similar to my Bare Minerals flawless face brushes. I've used them for years and had 4 that I rotated but they are falling apart.

Doing my part to support those of you with Ulta stock. Ordered DD10 a caboodle and a bunch of their 5 for $5 items. Also got myself some small elf eyeshadow quads as I realized my current eyeshadow is at least 5 yrs old. Filled in the $35 shipping min with some disposable mascara brushes that reviews say are washable and some eyeshadow applicators in my attempt to help DDs be careful about sharing makeup with their friends.

They're having a Black Friday sale that is decent right now. I'm partial to Wet N Wild and Elf brushes, but Morphe is good. I don't know how the compare to Bare Minerals since I've never tried those.

I have 3 orders in to Ulta currently. Don't judge me. I got some really good deals! And most of it is not for me. But some of it is.
