It'll be a few more days until my eyeliner is healed for me to really know how it looks. The swelling has gone down quite a bit and I no longer feel like I'm channeling my inner Magenta from Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The procedure itself didnt hurt till the last touch ups when I'm sure the numbing cream was wearing off. I was quite sore the rest of the day and had blurred vision. No way could I have gone to work afterwards. Vision was fine the day after and the soreness dropped to just being very aware of my eyelids. Today they've started to itch like crazy and I try to rub my eyes before I remember. Hoping the itching is short lived.

No, I don't take a multi. I've never been convinced on the value. Maybe I'm missing something? Biotin. It's in the hair, skin, nails vitamins and also in my women's vitamins. I actually get too much, and my nails are so strong they bother me. Interesting. I need to hydrate my nails in winter, preferably with things like neem or good olive oil.

Depends on what you're talking about using them for. For DD's dance performances we just bought whatever Wal-Mart had.

I want something natural looking. I'm almost 6 months out from my last chemo treatment. My nails are normal. My lashes and eyebrows took a beating. I can't go without both. I think my brows will be pretty OK. My eye lashes though. You can barely see them with mascara on. I was told the upkeep isn't like when you get your hair dyed...it's easier to start and stop. But, It's also $200 to start and then $100 a month to keep it up. That's a good amount of bank., especially given that I'm going to need to get my hair cut far more often than I ever did.

Gwen went to a local salon so I have no advice there but hers looked very nice.
She did have some eye irritation at first from the glue used but that went away after a couple days. A warm washcloth helped.
Someone didn'tfollowthe rules and openedher eyes while theglue dried. Don'tdo that.
Hers lasted a month. Probably would have lasted longer but she decided to remove them.
It wasn't cheap so not something I would do for her on the regular but I think the price tag is worth it for you Gira.

Toner choices? I noticed a month or two ago that all the wipes out there seems to have stopped beauty companies from making toner except some like Thayer's. I do use sensitive wipes off and on, but at 2.99 for 25, it seems pricey compared to toner and a cotton ball.
I discovered Alba Botanical stopped making what I had and only one of their lines even has a toner. I'm planning on in person shopping to Harmon's, Marshalls, Walmart or similar. Anyone still use toners that can be bought now?

Think ELF price point or lower. Saw on Target website a small Thayer's 3oz bottle for 3.99. For me that will last at least 3 months so is cheaper than cheap towelettes. (3 @ 2.99 w/ 25 each means roughly $9 for 75, so 2.5 months' worth if used daily, possibly 3 months.)

I got toner on discount at Marshall's plus decided on two packages of towelettes on discount. The Simple one I often get for $2 for 25 sheets and one for $3 for 30 sheets. All for under $10 w/o tax. I'll be good for 3+ months.

I'm getting that too. If anyone is looking for a sunscreen and has dry skin, you need the Tula one that's on sale tomorrow. I'm getting 2 so it will last me longer.

Have you thought about using Latisse? I’ve been reluctant to get extensions on my minimal lashes as I hear extensions are really rough on the natural lashes. A few years ago, I started using Latisse, then wen5 in and got my lashes tinted and lifted. Eureka! I had lashes. Covid hit, I stopped th3 Latisse and everything went away. I just started reusing it, and hope to get a tint and lift next month. There are a few places where you can get Latisse online, I usually stock up when they have a sale. A box usually lasts me about 3-4 months.

Trying a pore mask I.got at Target. I've been having issues the past couple years and I wanted to find something to maybe reduce their appearance.
I can feel it drawing out stuff but it's not the most pleasant smelling mask.

Even my mom said it was a tattoo worth getting and she hates tattoo's and has never worn eyeliner. I am tempted to go back to have my lips done, but I'd want them matched to my lip color, and the tattoo just to give them a clean definition.

I bought quite a lot of makeup right at the end of 2019. It sits, unopened, in boxes now. Maybe after we move I'll try some out. I saw no point in putting on anything for it to end up smeared on a mask.

On another thread, several of us realize our pre-pandemic and early-pandemic products aren't cutting it anymore now that we see folks in person without masks. I don't do foundation, but love tinted moisturizer which gives me just a hint of color and coverage. Any recommendations?

What's the best way to treat and prevent blackheads? Dd13 keeps developing them on her nose and they are large enough to be noticeable.
