Day drinking thread

In the what you are doing right now thread, several people posted about having adult beverages, so I thought I would create it's own thread.

Received my FED UI catch up (one month payment today), then looked at my bank acct and my state tax refund was deposited.  Pay day for me!!

We just finished a happy hour team meeting at work. We all shared our favorite drink. I’m still in the process of finishing up my third glass of Bourbon

No day drinking yet.  We need to pick up our take out dinner from a local restaurant, and then we can start .  Its nice actually eating a nice dinner and not worrying about driving after.

I love this. lol... I poured a little vodka into two cans of a blueberry lemonade seltzer this afternoon, and now I'm realizing I haven't eaten today. oops.

I stopped the daily beer last July after finding out I had CHF (congestive heart failure). Cut out salt and beer and lost 60#. Stable at 181 now which I haven't weighed since 1980. Going to splurge tonight with beer and pepperoni pizza.

If you like blueberry lemonade , try this - Simply lemonade , Stoli ( or some other brand ) blueberry vodka , and frozen blueberries . Very yummy

I’m drinking Malibu pineapple rum with Simply orange juice with pineapple , and a splash of grenadine

nice! I would have to do a splash of lemonade and seltzer, but this sounds tasty. Stoli blueberry is really good.

andi, cooking always goes better with a glass of something on the counter while you work. 🙃

I poured myself some chianti to doctor up some pierogis in a way that would make a purist cringe. there was no butter, at all. but it was tasty, and I'm about to curl up in a food coma. lol...

The one in the fridge was a lime, which I opted for, but I have a multiflavor pack in the garage.

It’s funny. When I came up with my screen name in 2009, I used to love tequila and margaritas. Now I’m a martini drinker (vodka). How does Miss Martini sound?!?!lol

I’m having a PB&J for you. Skrewball whisky and Chambord. I will switch to lemon drop martinis soon.

Our local winery (which has a restaurant) has  "Pinot and Pie" on Friday evenings. A pizza and a bottle of Pinot Noir.  $30 for wine club members.  We're going to check it out around 6pm.

I just had a rum, orange juice and pomegranate syrup drink.  That's it for me. I'll roll a joint next. I can't drink a lot...it makes me feel sick.

Mixers? I’m not following...lol

2 shots of skrewball and 1 shot of chambord. Some people do more or less chambord. That mix is my happy place.

I also do 2 shot of SB, 1/2 shot of creme de cacao (brown one) and a splash of cream

Or 2 shots of PB and 1 shot of 99 bananas-I’ve not tried this one but several people highly recommend it. Once our state stores open up and I can get 99 bananas, I’m going to try it
