I stopped the daily beer last July after finding out I had CHF (congestive heart failure). Cut out salt and beer and lost 60#. Stable at 181 now which I haven't weighed since 1980. Going to splurge tonight with beer and pepperoni pizza.  I've been feeling pizza too lately. Anyone know if I can use bisquick to make pizza dough. I assume so. |

the PB&J sounds amazing, if not too sweet. what other mixers did you use? Mixers? I’m not following...lol 2 shots of skrewball and 1 shot of chambord. Some people do more or less chambord. That mix is my happy place. I also do 2 shot of SB, 1/2 shot of creme de cacao (brown one) and a splash of cream Or 2 shots of PB and 1 shot of 99 bananas-I’ve not tried this one but several people highly recommend it. Once our state stores open up and I can get 99 bananas, I’m going to try it I mix most things with seltzer, I have a negative sweet tooth. that sounds tasty, but my teeth would hurt after half of one. love Chambord, I use it to make raspberry lemonade in the summer. 98 bananas is going to taste like a kickass PB and banana sammie. enjoy that! |

I finished off my open bottle of wine. I’ll be having margaritas tomorrow in honor of DH’s birthday.
im just about out of wine, so will have to make a trip to the store this weekend to stock back up. Maybe I’ll add some white claw to my stash.

What I really want is a pure whiskey sour. Lemons, simple syrup and top shelf whiskey! That's one of my staples. Only generally I use a mid level whiskey. Currently using George Dickel 12 year.
Just finish a bottle yesterday. Fortunately I have 3 more stocked up.
It's generally running out of lemons and/or limes that makes us venture out to the grocery store.

All those meatless Fridays in our Catholic home. andi9899 's casserole (hotdish in MN) I'm sure was very good. Must admit, I don't think I ever had either tuna or salmon that wasn't out of the can until I was out of college so "memories" of these fish is very tainted! lol |

I love this. lol... I poured a little vodka into two cans of a blueberry lemonade seltzer this afternoon, and now I'm realizing I haven't eaten today. oops. If you like blueberry lemonade , try this - Simply lemonade , Stoli ( or some other brand ) blueberry vodka , and frozen blueberries . Very yummy Or do what my wife does, any lemonade mixed with blueberry moonshine. |

We just finished a happy hour team meeting at work. We all shared our favorite drink. I’m still in the process of finishing up my third glass of Bourbon I love bourbon! But it makes me do things I don't want to do. This is why Jim Beam and I are on a break right now. Jim Beam is a starter Bourbon, go up a shelf or two to some Woodford Reserve, you’ll be a Bourbon drinker for life 🙂 |

NoNamePerson I was going to volunteer to be the designated driver but see that you've already enlisted empress of self-improvement. Therefore, this is my green light to take up drinking. I'm not going to do it by halves and just take it up during the day. I want to go all in and not sober up until trump is gone or drink myself to death in the process.
