Monday workout was done on Monday this week. I was in a weird fog all day, but I got it done. DD says she wants to workout tonight, so that will give me a little cardio. Today is usually an off day, but I am always willing to accommodate a workout buddy. Not sure of the rest of the week. Usually there is a cardio day and another weights/cardio thrown into the week, so probably Thursday and Saturday.

I’m still not working out, but the eating plan is going decently. I had pizza yesterday, and it made my tummy hurt. Damn adjustment to healthy food.

This week's goals:
15,000 steps a day 30 flights of stairs daily 1900 calories burned daily from exercise (not counting whatever calories are burned just from basic breathing and being alive and whatnot)
I had a great week as far as meeting goals thanks to the awesome weather. Weight is down a pound. Seems like I should be down about 15 pounds after all those dang steps!
Averaged: 21,700 steps a day 60 flights of stairs 2100 calories burned
This week will not be a repeat I'm guessing. Burning 1900 calories a day is NOT easy unless I'm hiking. And the weather will be awful, so my steps are going to drop off.
This week:
15,000 steps a day 40 flights of stairs 1650 calories burned
That should be doable but still require some effort. Shout out to ners and flamingo. Doing a great job in our challenge!!

445,284 steps for the month of January. Not too shabby. For as tired as I've been this month, I feel pretty good having gotten that many steps in. flutterby, you really kicked butt on steps this weekend! Good job! Thanks for setting up the challenge, ners. It's so motivating for me to see how everyone else is doing.

While I can be competitive, I am fine with finishing last as long as I hit my step goal. It means everyone else is having a great month.

Hi Everyone! How's it going? Still no intentional cardio for me this last week. I did squeeze in two sessions of yoga last week though, and that's good. My weight loss is stagnating because I'm just not following the eating/meal plan the way I should.
My goals that I set for the first quarter of 2020: For January, my Healthy Lifestyle plans are: ~continue with the 5&1 meal plan. ---not fantastic consistency, but doing okay ~lose another five pounds by January 31---YES this did happen ~add cardio back into my schedule at least two days per week---nope, not at all. I'm just working way too much. ~add 15 minutes of yoga back into my daily schedule---close but no. I've worked in at least two sessions per week not per day.
I'm not adjusting these first quarter goals, and I do think I can still accomplish them:
For January - March, my plans are: ~continue with the 5&1 meal plan ~reach 130lbs by the end of March (this is where I was in Spring 2015) ~add cardio back into my schedule at least four days per week ~add light weight training in three days per week

Thanks for asking, Knee Deep in Water Chloe! I've lost around 15 pounds since our move here. Unfortunately, I've been "chained" to my desk at home most of this week, doing paperwork, so I don't expect the scale will be very kind to me next week. Oh well, this is the time of year I've got paperwork to do, then about the beginning to middle of March, I can get back to being more active.

Last week's goals:
15,000 steps/day Averaged just over 20,000 40 flights daily Averaged 46/day but didn't meet the goal every day Burn 1650 calories a day Averaged 2100/day
So overall, I did well. It doesn't seem like I'm eating more, but I must be, because I'm not losing weight. I'll keep on keeping on and hopefully it'll eventually work.
This week:
17,000 steps daily 40 flights of stairs daily Burn 1700 calories daily

Did manage to do cardio today. That means one more time this week to make my 2x/week goal.
Had cobbler today. That's definitely not part of my eating plan. Silly DH baking that and forcing me to eat it.

Good Morning Healthy WIRs! Thank you Knee Deep in Water Chloe for asking about my progress. I have become more aware of my need for more water and am doing better, with plenty of room for continued improvement. I've also resumed taking calcium supplement, which I had let fall to the wayside. I have osteopenia, which is entry level osteoporosis. I'm not sure why I would allow myself to not take the supplement. Keep up the good work gang and thanks for having me.

Thanks for asking, Chloe! I'm doing barre3 3-4x a week and it really does make me feel better after each workout. Pounds aren't dropping but I feel like I'm looking better, so I don't care about the scale. We had a very booze-heavy weekend so I look forward to not drinking this week.

Thanks for asking Knee Deep in Water Chloe! I think It's....going. I don't know the last time I double checked my snack calories for the day so gotta get back at that. I got a cold from the kids and then allergy season went and started on me, so I can barely breathe right now. Trying to get my cocktail of allergy meds going again so I'm not afraid to exercise/breathe deep. My "lazy" goal for the week is to get back to snack checking and at least a slow lazy walk during lunch. Any moving is better than none.

I went to the gym on Sunday and the stair stepper was gone. I knew it was old, but I liked it as a nice start to my workout. So that made the whole workout a little off and hard for me. I am also scared I am going to get sick, so spend a good bit of time spraying everything I touch and sanitizing my hands. I am a crazy lady.
One thing I have been doing well on is alcohol. We stopped eating out and I usually drink when we eat out. Weight is the same.

I spent the weekend visiting family which means my steps were way down. Visiting family means a lot of sitting around. Still, it was nice to see everyone.
Today's a cross-training day, so I'll either do the elliptical or walk on the treadmill for an hour after work tonight.

I'm down 2 pounds overall. Still have a few to go. There's way too much junk in the house from Valentine's day.
This week's goals will stay the same. Not feeling ambitious enough to do more. I'm loving the challenge with ners and flamingo . It's about the only thing keeping me motivated in this weather. We're over half way through the month, doing great!
ETA: half my post disappeared.
Met my goals last week, except daily flight of stairs. This week's goals will stay the same.
17,000 steps a day 1700 calories burned 40 flight of stairs daily

Hello - I've been doing pretty well with the exercising. Monitoring my eating is still a struggle. Chocolate is my downfall, and there has been a whole lot of it around the past couple of weeks. Trying to keep exercising 3-4x per week, and will track my eating better to get a better picture of my weak points.

Some days I feel really good. Yesterday was one of those days. No idea what is different but my energy level goes through the roof. I don't have many of those days in a month, but I am so productive and happy when I do and I wish I could predict them or know how to produce them.
Anyway, feeling pretty good. Worked out on Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
