tonight, I'm taking the pups to the patio for a last fun night out before the golden's surgery later this week. they will get chicken tenders and a few fries while we're there. I'll probably grab a salad, because I ate very badly this weekend.
the rest of the week, I've got BSCB and boneless chicken thighs that didn't get cooked over the weekend. brunch wasn't at my house, and I'd planned for chicken and waffles. no big deal, I'll find other things to do with the meat.
ETA: I've figured out some things. -BSCB is going in the Instant Pot to be shredded for the pups.
-lunch today will use up the last of the Chinese leftovers from Friday night. chicken lettuce wraps filling over some white rice I'll steal from the pup stash.

Friday/Saturday at DH's cousin house. They ordered in various options.
Sunday his parents ordered dinner and we picked it up. DH shared a meat lovers pizza with his dad and I ordered a crispy chicken wrap. I had the second half of the wrap for lunch today.
Monday is leftover beef fajitas.
Tuesday probably enough various leftovers in the fridge for dinner.
Wednesday night we will see as our second vaccine is Tuesday night.

Not sure. Last night, TD threw chicken thighs on the grill and we ate on the potato salad I made. I need to get my butt in gear and go to the grocery store, maybe pick up some hamburger rolls, and we could have those with salad tonight.
I have a little bit of rotisserie chicken and a little pulled pork left. Not enough of either for a meal, but if I combined them I could make a butter porky chicken?

my oven needs a deep clean, so it's off limits while some baking soda sits and works. tonight, I'll make some pasta and stir in a homemade pesto. if I happen to have some tortellini (idk, need to check) then I'll make a bunch extra b/c that's good cold as well.
ETA: I found a package of spinach and cheese tortellini, and I thawed out some shredded rotisserie chicken from the freezer. done.

We went...wait for it...to a restaurant!!!
Probably mu favorite place. And, they took my favorite thing off the menu and replaced it with something else. I tried something new, but didn't read the description well enough and got something that took 10 minutes longer than what everyone else had (and they didn't time it in the kitchen) and I didn't like it.
I am so disappointed.

DD had left over lasagna, we will likely save it for her. It was her lunch and dinner today, it is very good.
For hubs I fried cabbage with kielbasa, one of his favorites.
For me a chef salad. Was lettuce, cukes, tomatoes, and bell pepper. Added sweet slice ham, 3 small slices from the end and 2 boiled eggs. Ate a huge bowl of it.
So today calories are coffee for breakfast, a McD's hamburger for lunch, 250 calories. About 10 apricots, 200 calories, salad was about 600 calories so did good. I also ate some raw cabbage, always liked raw veggies. Totals around 900 calories. Later if I'm hungry may have a couple of those small mandarin oranges or an apple. Need to add water. Did good today.
The phentermine helps take the edge off being hungry all the time. My issue is quantities of food eaten. Hope I can lose the weight, I need to.

taco bar for Cinco de Mayo. mooch and M had ground beef, I had diced chicken thigh, all with the same spice blend I mixed up. hard and soft corn, and flour tortillas, yellow rice and beans for sides, and all of the veggie fixins.
cost - I bought fresh pico and guac today, maybe $5? I always have some in the fridge. 🤷♀️ chicken had a sell by date of tomorrow, and the twins brought the beef. everything else was here.

We had 3 pork chops, mashed potatoes, gravy, and biscuits. DD loves mashed potatoes and biscuits. She had a biscuit and a half and gravy over both, she doesn't care for chops. Hubs ate most of the rest, LOL!
I figured up my calories, still haven't found my food scale, I put it away in the laundry room somewhere I think. I need to get it to be accurate and not guess.
So had half a pork chop and was small, a whole is 196 so I listed it as 100, half a biscuit 90 calories. I said my potatoes were equivalent to a medium potato but didn't eat that much but still said 150 calories. The gravy said 22 calories per tablespoon. I put down as 220, 10 tablespoons, but doubt it. I'm stuffed, so that's a good thing. I think the phentermine is cumulative in effect. So about 600 calories and like to never ate the last 2 small bites.
This morning and noon only ate about 500, including an apple. I bet I haven't lost anything. My thyroid is slow so I may have to eat even less, hope not. If you get too low, then the body says you are starving and refuses to let go.

Last night we had planned to pick up the special at a farm fresh place near the house, but they sold out by 4! It was sausage & peppers. So DH ran home and quick thawed some Roma Old Bay sausages and fired up the grill. Even better!

Dunno. Last night I made spaghetti and I have leftover sauce I'll need to do something with later this week.
Right now, I'm craving Mexican. I need to see if I can do some arm twisting later this evening.

I baked a russet potato and made a quick cheddar/pepper jack sauce, and reheated leftover taco meat and black beans. mindless comfort food for a gross lazy day.

I made Filipino Pansit. Delicious! I Pancit! My favorite uncle is from the Philippines, and taught me how to cook a lot of his favorite dishes - which also became my favorite dishes. I hope you left the noodles whole! Of course. Tonight I made Vietnamese Pho with baby bok choi, chicken and King oyster mushrooms. Lovely.

I haven't decided yet, but it will most likely involve black peppercorn-marinated BSCB. the delivery of my favorite Weber marinade packets arrived yesterday. I picked up a couple family packs of BSCB for $2/lb. between the pups and me, we will use all of it this week. currently, there's about 3lbs trimmed and sliced, sitting in the marinade.
for my quick-grab batch meal this week, I'm going to chop some of that grilled chicken and toss it with roasted broccoli, rigatoni and Alfredo sauce. it is tasty hot or cold.

Not sure. I hav3 some pork tenderloins in the freezer I could take out and do breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches tonight. I also have burgers and an avocado that needs to be used. Whichever way I go, it will include salad.
