Then, GOP get off your fucking asses and serve the American Constitution . Start the impeachment now. Honestly they would hate it if I was in there, cause I would start the proceedings They can't impeach him without reason. However, they could try for article 25. But they won't. Its too close to midterms and they are willing to sink with the ship. MO.
Whatever happens is likely to occur after midterms, even if seeds are being sown now. I expect Trump will be in office thru 2018, unless he resigns or has a serious medical issue.
very much hinges on the midterms. if the GOP keeps both houses, nothing will happen. if the GOP loses the House, doofus will end up on the end of endless investigations for the balance of his presidency. if the GOP loses both houses, i would rate the chances that the POtuS is either removed or quits to over 50:50. so yeah, we will see.

I've been learning some cool things from visitors so now I want an electric cello and to go guitar shopping. I have my Mom's old folk guitar and two old keyboards. you're hired. you know how to reach me.

independent? you don't believe i am an independent (unaffiliated)? why on EARTH would you not believe that? and what do you need in order to believe that? my voting records? i find the level of distrust here bothersome. why on Earth would i lie about that? what value would it have? this board is weird.
DJ, Remember who you are dealing with. Some people truly are binary. They can't or won't handle complexity. So if the choices are GOP or Democratic Party, and they know you aren't GOP, they feel there is only one choice.
And its not your explanations that are the problem. It is part of your audience is unable to process or handle what you post. Happens to me a lot. Some posters are so used to their own filters or ways of looking at things, they really can't conceive you don't think that way at all.
i have no problem with that per se. here is where this argument falls apart for me, tho: ok, so let's say i am lying. why would i do that? what could i possibly gain from lying on an ANONYMOUS BOARD this is one of the few places in my life that i can not only feel free to state precisely what i think, without any repercussions, but i can be FULSOME about it. if i think your opinion stinks, i will tell you. and likewise, if i am certain about something, i won't hold any bars letting you know it. why should i? what is there to gain? so, the doubt of this says to me that some people here bullshit constantly. and i have to say that i just don't get that.
so, VB: are you bullshitting me? are you deceiving me and everyone on the board? because if not, why would you assume that i am bullshitting you?
the utter lack of reciprocal belief is utterly strange. if you don't believe me- why should i believe you? and moreover, what is the point of any of this?

Satire from The Borowitz Report Pence Blasts New York Times and Vows Never to Write for It Again
By Andy Borowitz ORLANDO (The Borowitz Report)—Speaking to reporters on Thursday morning, Vice-President Mike Pence ripped the New York Times and vowed never to write for it again. “I think the New York Times is reprehensible and disgraceful, and should apologize to the American people,” Pence said. “As for me, I’m going to show my disgust with the Times by never, ever submitting another piece of writing to it.”... In addition to those criticisms, Pence said that the Times insists that writers sign a contract and submit a W-9 before they can get paid. “The Times says that it pays writers promptly, but when I look at their behavior up to this point, color me skeptical,” Pence said. “I’ll believe it when I get the check.” Complete article here: Pence Blasts New York Times and Vows Never to Write for It Again

Let me be perfectly clear here. I trust and like dj. I would never play him. We have our differences, such as his political affilliation he claims he has independent? you don't believe i am an independent (unaffiliated)? why on EARTH would you not believe that? and what do you need in order to believe that? my voting records? i find the level of distrust here bothersome. why on Earth would i lie about that? what value would it have? this board is weird.
When did you declare to Independent? Was it this year? I was not here for six months. Now I even like you a little more

I say there's something in the pasta sauce, when I see weird posts to me. I just don't answer them anymore, keeps them guessing and on their toes. i try to be as clear as possible.
i was a liberal Republican in 2016. but that election showed me more than any time in my adult life that the party has no place for me. so, FUCK the GOP. but i would also like to point out that Democrats are responsible for practically every war we have ever entered. so, FUCK DEMOCRATS, TOO. if that is not clear enough to all of the doubters, you just let me know. i can try more caps and swearing. I'm sorry, but it's not bolded too, so I don't believe you. Once you bold it, I'll believe you. If you use red font too, I'll super duper believe you.

Satire from The Borowitz Report Nation Stunned That There Is Someone in White House Capable of Writing an Editorial
By Andy Borowitz WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Millions of Americans were startled by the revelation on Wednesday afternoon that there was someone working in the Trump White House capable of writing an entire editorial, reports indicate. In a nation already rocked by a series of bombshells since Labor Day, the news that an anonymous senior White House official had the command of the English language necessary to compose a seemingly coherent Op-Ed piece suitable for publication in a major newspaper was perhaps the most improbable development of all. Davis Logsdon, a professor of linguistics at the University of Minnesota, said that a team of language experts under his supervision has studied the Op-Ed word by word and is “in a state of disbelief” that someone currently working for Donald J. Trump could have written it. Complete story here: Nation Stunned That There Is Someone in White House Capable of Writing an Editorial It has been a wonderful week for those of us that don't live in the alternate universe Cult 45'ers have created.

A person only needs to note the proximity of the mid terms and the echo chamber 'bombshells'. The Cohen bombshell gone so soon ? Yep, too bad the Dems don't have a demented POTUS that the GOP could create bombshells for, too.
Instead, they have to reuse the tired old Pelosi whines, and gin up some faux brown people scares.
And the traitorous brown people who won't kneel at football games. Let's not forget that scandal.

I just remember you telling me to "buckle up" for the Cohen thing. I never did, along with the dozen or so bombshells preceding. Sorry if I'm taking the next "bombshell" report in a similar fashion, lol. I'm not the targeted audience on that kind of thing. I suppose the Democrats need to cling to something. Ok, so Mueller charging 8 Americans, including the president's national security advisor and two former campaign advisors, plus his lawyer, 13 Russian nationals, 3 related companies, a Russian associate of Manafort's, and 12 Russian intelligence officers of crimes is no big deal?
Cohen admitting that Trump engaged in illegal activities isn't much of a thing, either?
A book by a prize winning journalist documenting how the president's staff think he's an idiot, combined with a Trump senior staff member posting an anonymous editorial claiming there is a parallel administration keeping the WH from doing something horrible didn't both you at all?
The NY State attorneys office's investigation into Trump's business activities - Ho hum?
So, I'm guessing you grew up in a banana republic? Or maybe the son of a mob boss? Someplace where illegal activity and criminal charges were just the cost of doing business? To be honest, it's startling to me that the presidency is as crime ridden and dramatic as the Sopranos. Not used to it, myself.

But don't you know....nothing is ever a big deal with Trump! He was right when he said he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th avenue and not lose any supporters.
Trumpsters will never admit they were wrong. They just won't. I'll take it further and say Trump could probably shoot a supporters own child right in front of him/her, and some would still make up an excuse for why Trump did what he did. Its terrifying that such stubborn people exist in this country. I'm beginning to wonder if it is some kind of mental disorder, for real though....not like they claim liberalism is. But like a real genuine mental disorder where their mind just will not allow them to admit they were wrong about Trump.

i don't understand how the deepest and most productive investigation since Iran Contra could be called a witch hunt. then again, the same folks saying this probably thought Iran Contra was a witch hunt. to those that think so: time to examine your perspective, and what you mean by that term.

if Pence co-authored it, he could plausibly deny doing it. furthermore, he can't be fired. so his job is safe.

Or maybe the oped was to lay the groundwork for taking the 25thto avoid making it all public in an impeachment Dunt dunt dunt!!!! Plot twist👽 Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office. The process will be just as public with the 25th or an impeachment unless you think that President Trump will shrug and go back to Trump Towers if he is declared "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" or both houses of Congress will hold votes without hearings.
