ROFL. PI april fooled the april foolers! Thanx Archie and that was my intent on Aprils Fools Day..seems as if the April Foolers object to be fooled or pranked..by Yours Truly.. Impersonating a mod is wrong and i would strongly suggest it not happen again. Ok and cannot afford to buy this board ..having a cash flow issue these days .. |

the only reason you didn't get in real trouble for it is *because* it was AFD... your prank sort of added to the confusion of virgil's.. however, it did cause some people to be upset.. and when you continue to claim that you were in on it after the fact, it just perpetuates it..
you pulled A prank, but you were not part of ours.

I'm glad that most of you enjoyed the tom-foolery.. however, i deserve no praise.. despite what virgil said, i had no part in the planning of the prank, and only very little in the implementation of it.. my entire contribution was the first post in this thread.. and the rest was him.. hats off to virgil!! I thought it was hilarious. I wasn't sure what was going on but being April Fool's Day I wasn't automatically buying the "proboards" story but it was a good one.
PI's comments about having bought the board were also similarly suspicious since I would have expected to see a different title for him so I wasn't buy that one. But it was a great idea to see what was happening and jump in as he had, talk about stirring the pot.
I can't believe anyone seriously got bent out of shape over this and they need to re-examine themselves if they did. If you fell for it, laugh it off and remember what day it is next year and view stuff with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Some people seriously need a sense of humor transplant.

A few asked if I really did buy the Proboards ?? I refered all these questions and complaints to Ms Moonbeam. ...all I will now say is wait until next year you ain't seen anything yet but this time I will get Ms Moonbeam's OK before pulling any more juvenile pranks that was my forte in school and in the military.. One member said she was so upset that she told Moonbeam to ban me for that stunt and didn't think it was funny at all.. and understands now why Moonbeam doesn't like me....So I thanked her for her PM and hoped she had a nice Aprils Fool Day because I sure did..

My mistake was NOT letting Moonbeam in on my latest prank..but she isn't speaking to me anymore I guess?? I don't recall Moon letting us in on the prank  That sort of destroys the whole concpet of pulling a prank doesn't it?

Actually it was a phrase that my teenager came and told me about.... I found it very appropriate with how I feel about religion should be a private matter between a person and their God of choice. Now about how it "speaks volumes" about me.... what exactly does it say about me? Since you brought it up and clearly have some opinion about me from it.... so let's hear it.

PI, my siggy is from a Salt N' Pepa song called "None of Your Business". It's applicable in many situations. As for competitiveness, no... not at all.. I've told people many times that if they don't like what's here they should go elsewhere, or start their own.. it's easy to do, obviously.. my laughing was due to the fact that he didn't get what he wanted from me (the board), so he starts his own.. which is fine.. tries to steal people away by sending random PMs (though i only know of one person that got one at this point)..and what does he have to show for that last part? nothing..

If you want my opinion I think you need a better inscription signature and may I make just a few suggestions if you are interested in an update that better says "this is Moonbeam " My first thoughts for you Moonbeam would be the words from a beautiful old French song by Edith Piaf "La Vie En Roses".. but she was way, way before your time but her music was played by the Vietnamese 24/7 in all of the Saigon Bars and Restaurants and left the listeners spellbound to say the least.
