ProBoards has sent me yet another PM regarding adult content. At least this time it wasn't a complaint, but still, not what I would call good news.
It seems that due to to abuse, they've decided that they are not going to allow us to choose our own avatars from the web anymore.. Not just us though- they are doing it across the board. Anyway, they provided me several groups of 'theme' avatars to choose from. I wasn't crazy about any of them, but I chose the one that had the widest variety to choose from.
This change will take effect at midnight, and if you had an avatar, your new one is based on some program that randomly assigns them. And yes..I am trying to appeal the decision because I don't think we have ANY that are questionable. Until then, I appreciate your patience.

How are the new Avatars working out for you all?? BTW just be forewarned that tomorrow is 01 second quarter (ProBoards Rules Day) and I am preparing the Mother of All ProBoards Rules Change Events so be prepared... BTW sorry to disappoint the EE Desparate Housewives here but I could NOT find the Seagull Avatars they must have flew the coop or are on lunch break >>> |
