Oh no Knee Deep in Water Chloe! I hope you feel better soon. I’m up and getting ready to head home. Trying to be frugal by eating the free breakfast at my hotel. Crappy food, tho so it’s not working well. And super obnoxious blowhard at the table next is making me eat my crappy food fast!

This week I did okay, not great. I got in 81,000 steps and kept up on the non-caffeinated liquids with about 70 oz. a day, both wins. I only did planks four days, so that was a fail. The weather turned on me this weekend, so I didn't go hiking at all, another fail. My RA has flared for the last month or so, only in one joint luckily, but it's killing me. I'm taking extra of one of my medications, but I can't keep doing that indefinitely. I hope this slacks off soon. I haven't had a flare in a long time, and I'd forgotten how painful it can be.
The weather looks good this week, so I'm sticking with the same goals: 80,000 steps 70 oz of water planks seven days two hikes
I hope those who are sick start feeling better soon and everyone has a great week!

Weekly check in
Steps 83608. Did not track water intake or calorie intake. Weight is doing okay
This week step goal will remain at 77500. I have to be realistic with meetings two evenings this week. Going to track water this week.
Hope those who are not feeling well get well soon.
Have a great week everyone.

I'm going backwards. Time to cut the crap, and get to business with my diet. I did do the Crunch workout Saturday, after not doing it for weeks, and I'm sore. It's great for my core, but it's too tough on my hips, and it really Fd up my bad shoulder this time. The joys of getting old!

same, and I'm paying for it - mostly in that I feel tired and awful. Back on the wagon for the 1000000000th time, but this time I'm making a bet with myself. If I can go 5 days with no added sugar, my reward is a full-sized dark chocolate bar on day 6 if I want. Yes, there are other things I need to work on but sugar is one of my largest pitfalls. Let's not get into the sugar sins I committed yesterday, but I've done alright so far today - ful with whole grain flatbread and a hard boiled egg with yellow mustard on the side for breakfast, unsalted peanuts as a mid-morning snack. I also had 4oz coffee with 2 creamers and 1 Sweet n Low (I'm not counting that since it's just 1).

I am alive!!! Goodness, the flue was awful! I’m actually having coherent thought this morning! Okay, I needed to celebrate somewhere that I’m back to reality. Anyhoo, no, I’m not going to the gym today. That would be over doing it for me. Honestly, I think it’s a decent goal for me to get to 5,000 steps. Here are my March goals thus far.

Liking the fact that you're alive and doing better, Chloe. Sorry the flu was so bad.

I've eaten all my packed food and now I'm HUNGRY. And AF is coming this week so I picked a fine time for my challenge/bet.

I made it to the gym this morning. But now I'm tired. SO SO TIRED. It's 8:30am and I'm already dreaming about going to bed tonight. This is going to be a long day.

I did 30 mins of yoga this morning and am off to a good start food-wise. I did okay last night too and had no added sugar!

Gym day #2! It's my instructor's birthday today so he said we're going hard and he should have some of our best routines tonight. Woot!

Made it to 6K+ steps yesterday and unintentionally 12K+ today. I’m exhausted.

Thanks. I'm going to try and do it again today. It's hard with a desk job.

I got weak last night and had about 3/4 cup of the crappy boxed mac and cheese I made for DS. That put me over my calorie and fat limit for the day. Did a 15 minute grueling (IMO) workout since it's all I had time for this morning but burned about 200 cals. Breakfast (peanut butter and banana smoothie with 12-grain toast) was pretty calorie-heavy though. Still no added sugar - I can do this!

I think I'm out of the step challenge. My fitbit isn't tracking my steps right. Does anyone know how to restart a fitbit HR? The website says to turn it off and back on. Then it tells me it can't be turned off. I can't talk on the phone at work, and when I tried to do a live chat, nothing happened. This bites, I'm getting a Garmin.

I was doing great on eating almost the entire day yesterday, then I had a scoop of ice cream at a school thing, and then the brownies I made a few days ago were calling to me. Brownies at 180 calories for a tiny square. And despite all that, I'm down a pound from yesterday. Must have been the extra walking, cause I didn't do a workout either.

I put my cookie bars from Sunday in the freezer to stop me... and it didn't even stop me until I made my "bet". I took one out last night to put in DS's lunch for today and I sniffed it first. It was hard, but I didn't have one. My cheat day is Saturday - only 2 days away! I was too tired to work out this morning so need to be extra careful about calories today.

Plug it into a computer, hold the button for 10-12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number and let go of the button.

Thanks. Of course I couldn't notice it while I was at home with the charger. I'm going home for lunch to get it. I can't miss a whole day's steps on a gym day.

Ok. Fitbit is restarted and time is even right now. I got shorted a couple of thousand steps while it was out. So now I'm playing catch up which sucks because I was catching up with flamingo. Good thing today is a gym day!

Good thing today is a gym day! Glad that worked for you. I'm trying to get 10k steps in today despite being stuck at my desk for 3 hours today. It's better when I have freedom to move.

Well now the thing won't even turn on. I'm out of the challenge. I was going to win too! Even if I had to up my game to 15K+ steps per day.

I’m not too sad that your out, andi! LOL
In all seriousness tho, I hope you get it working again. Or get a new step/fitness tracker. It’s a bummer when they aren’t working right.

I did pretty good this week.
80,000 steps...did 86,000 70 oz of water...yep planks seven days...ha no, I only did 2 days two hikes...yes, but today's hike was fairly tame since I was still sore from the last one
This week, mostly decent weather so:
80,000 steps 2 hikes 70+ ounces of water (this one is a pretty ingrained habit now, so I'll drop it from the list going forward) Weights - I bought a set of weights for home since I've given up on the gym. I still have surgery coming up, so at least I can do something with my arms while I'm stuck on crutches. I'm not sure of a specific goal for this yet, so this week I'll just say 15 minutes worth daily
That should keep me busy. Enjoy your week everyone!
