What? No comment on him not being publicly arrested and paraded down the sidewalk in handcuffs? Major media was publicly looking for this to happen. Almost guarenteed it. So disappointing for them. I imagine some msm honchos are now wondering if Mueller is going after the real Russian colluders. You know, the ones who were doing it and cried COLLUSION! Asking them to surrender when they have counsel is standard procedure this indictment is exceedingly crafty. more to follow.

Trump continues to tank in the polls: 33% approval rate. The poll was conducted before the announcement today regarding the charges and arraignment of Manafort and Gates. Poll: Trump hits all-time low in job approvalPresident Trump's job approval rating has dropped to a new low, according to the most recent Gallup tracking poll. Just 33 percent of respondents in the Gallup daily survey approve of the job Trump is doing as president. Sixty-two percent of respondents said they disapprove of Trump's job performance. The Gallup survey is based on a three-day rolling average. It is conducted among 1,500 adults and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. Trump's 33 percent approval rating is his lowest since taking office, according to Gallup. Complete article here: Poll: Trump hits all-time low in job approvalthe Rasmussen poll is trending exactly the opposite. it has a 4% GOP bias.

Well so far, I still do not see anytHing linking Trump to Russian collusion. I also saw Podesta's brother resigned from the Podesta Group today, and they are ahem.......reorganizing as a new company. Seems many customers have, ahem.........pulled their accounts. Looks like a lot of people do not want to be associated with the Mueller investigation. The Podesta's are now considered something less than male sexual predators. Still waiting for Hillary to publicly state John Podesta is a heck of a guy, and should be celebrated! There are things linking Trump to collusion with Russia, they just aren't part of the indictments at this time. Donald Jr. and Kushner attended multiple meetings with Russians. Don't mistake the beginning of the hammer coming down with the end of the investigation.
I don't live in alternate reality so I don't think many non-Trump supporters are thinking all that much about any Podesta. Yes the revelation hurts the Podesta group, but the smart money is watching the WH. There is so much tap dancing going on, you know there is more than a little guilt there.
these indictments are designed to STRENGTHEN the case for collusion, imo.

Paul Manafort. It is reported he has been told to surrender. No public arrest or perp walk for the media The other winner- the London Professor in Mueller's indictment of the 29-year-old unpaid volunteer to the Trump campaign denies all the allegations in Mueller's document. It looks like this Papadopoulos character (who was an unpaid volunteer with no standing or status at the campaign whatsoever) was trying to worm his way into the campaign by making fantastical claims about knowing Russian agents who had dirt on Hillary. Putin's people, meanwhile, were trying to use this guy to meet with Trump or his top people because no one in the Trump operation would meet with Putin's people. Not that there would have been anything wrong in meeting with Putin's people. Are you forgetting about the Trump JR meeting with the Russian lawyer to discuss the dirt on Clinton?
Seems like Trump Jr, Manafort and Kushner were more than eager to meet with Putin's people.
By the way, worst possible news for Trump - Fox news website is covered in articles about North Korea.
If Fox News can't find a way to polish this turd, you know Trump is toast.

As an aside, apparently rumor has it Papadopoulos was wearing a wire (which is why is he is listed as a 'proactive cooperator' in court documents.)
Rumor also has it, this info is causing a frenzy in the WH as people scramble to cover their butts and the president raises hell.
Of course, just a rumor, but an amusing one.

Just opened it up again and now NK is the lead story, with the Podesta brothers, Tucker Carlson, etc. in the space below. They don't seem concerned that any of the indictments thus-far issued will touch Pres. Trump, but who knows how much more is to come.

www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/jurisprudence/2017/10/trump_is_in_much_deeper_trouble_than_nixon_was_after_the_first_watergate.html"The specter of Watergate haunts the Trump presidency. On a personal level, Donald Trump shares Richard Nixon’s penchant for egregious deceit, petty revenge, and debilitating paranoia. When it comes to governing, he has demonstrated a Nixonian willingness to fire people who refuse to promise him their loyalty. Trump has also taken a page from his predecessor’s playbook in his response to the allegations being made against him. In the same way Nixon and his apologists accused the Democrats of political sabotage and illegal campaign spending after the Watergate break-in, Trump has lately been insisting that Hillary Clinton and the DNC colluded with the Russians." Article arguing trump is in deeper doodoo that Nixon after first indictments....

I wonder who will be next...I hope its Kushner. He seemed slimy to me from the start. I used to kind of like Ivanka, but not so much anymore, and for more reasons that just her dirtbag husband.

What ever. If I remember you live in a red state! Thank God! Don't bring God into it. Not when you support a party that gives zero f*cks about helping the poor and the needy, a party that is led by a man who has been married three times, who has cheated on his wive(s), who has failed to pay his taxes, who has stolen from and screwed over hard working people. You don't know a damn thing about God because if you did you would die of shame at being a Republican. C'mon Poptart, tell us what you really think.

I agree more is likely to follow, but it's too early to speculate what it might be. As I said, if you think you know what's going to happen you're either part of the Mueller investigation or you are expressing opinion.
And of course, everyone knows that people on the Trump campaign had meetings with Russians, but was it Criminal or untoward? The Russian lawyer promised dirt on Hillary Clinton. What campaign wouldn't want to meet with someone who promised dirt on a political opponent? Campaigns have entire departments dedicated to opposition research. So just because a meeting or other contacts took place did not mean "collusion" or "conspiracy" as the law defines it.

You seem to be confusing opposition research by Americans (which is legal) with opposition research for sale by a hostile nation - colluding with the latter is treason.

Satire from The Borowitz ReportFox to Offer Twenty-Four-Hour Coverage of Bill Clinton’s ImpeachmentBy Andy Borowitz 10/31/17 NEW YORK (The Borowitz Report)—Calling it a story “too hot for the other cable-news networks to handle,” Fox News Channel announced on Tuesday that it would begin airing twenty-four-hour coverage of Bill Clinton’s 1998–99 impeachment. Fox anchor Sean Hannity announced the programming change, telling viewers that Fox would devote all its resources to reporting the Clinton impeachment to the exclusion of all other news stories. “This story has everything: sex, lies, and misdeeds at the highest levels of our government,” Hannity said. “We are planning to flood the zone to bring it to you.” Calling it “the story Bill and Hillary Clinton don’t want you to hear,” Hannity said Fox would be unstinting in its effort to get to the bottom of the impeachment. “For years, this hushed-up chapter of our history has been shrouded in silence,” Hannity said. “That silence ends today.” link

This is a rehash of a 17/18 year happening that while young folks may not be that knowledgeable of , the events beyond the fact that the President at the time, Bill Clinton, was impeached for lying to Congress...that he was also guilty of sexual actions with a nineteen year old intern is also known..He claims not as he considered oral sex not as a seriouse sexual act..His thinking, if true was one had to have sexual intercourse ,which they did not have.. [ How the hell do we elect these folks to our top leadership positions..] According to this statement...does it mean if a act like the car attack in NY would not be covered. Possible other news sources, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC nd such might get a boost as much of trumps supporters go looking for legitimate news sources...even if for some , watching those damn "fake News " outlet...

The enduring-yet-premature hope that indictments against Manafort et al. will reach all the way to Pres. Trump himself. I understand hope and faith, but I also understood Paul's yearning for Mitt Romney to win the 2012 US election. Consider this a forewarning from an objective third party with no skin in the game and no preference on whether charges are filed or not.

Glad to see dj has come out of retirement from politics withdrawl. This can only mean we are done with Trump collusion, and we now have Clinton/DNC Russian collusion indictments around the corner.

I don't need 'collusion' to go all the way to Trump. (Although his twitter habit might bite him in the ass...) .... Its likely that Manafort leads to Kushner and Jr though... which is great motivation for Obstruction... which is what I'm banking on being Trump's real boo boo...
No one indicts on 'collusion'... its the behavior people who are colluding engage in that earn them indictments.
