What? No comment on him not being publicly arrested and paraded down the sidewalk in handcuffs? Major media was publicly looking for this to happen. Almost guarenteed it. So disappointing for them. I imagine some msm honchos are now wondering if Mueller is going after the real Russian colluders. You know, the ones who were doing it and cried COLLUSION! Asking them to surrender when they have counsel is standard procedure

Can't read the link. We have so many linked articles to the Washington Post in threads and one can only get so many free visits per week/month to the WP before they start blocking you from seeing the article(s) like just now for me. Try clicking on the settings wheel on the top right side of your screen, scroll down to safety, then go to "In Private Browsing" on the left and click on that. If you try to view "in a private browser" the cookies are not retained, so the limits will not apply.

Private/incognito browser, as suggested. Clearing your cache also works.

Closest I could find to In Private Browsing in my settings was "Send a "Do Not Track" request with your browsing traffic". That did not work. But I will try Incognito as Cookies Galore suggested. Thanks to both of you.

OK here is what is getting my goat about Dear Mr Manafort.
Here he was, chairman for the Trump campaign, leading the charge to drain the swamp and make America great again, trying to make things better for the common, blue collar, hard working man.
Yet he had these huge foreign bank accounts he used to stash his money to avoid paying taxes on them.
www.latimes.com/politics/washington/la-na-pol-essential-washington-updates-paul-manafort-and-business-associate-1509365548-htmlstory.html
1.3 M on clothing, 1.6 M on antiques? Using money he didn't pay taxes on Lying about giving a house to his daughter and SIL when in fact he was renting it out?? 6.5M in loans to remodel a place worth 5M - and then spending the money on other shit instead??
I hope all the MAGA voters are paying attention to the 'best mind' that Trump thought was worthy of running his campaign, and consider how many other grifters Trump might have brought into office with him.
They haven't connected the dots to collusion just yet, but just knowing the kind of person Trump thought was a real 'quality' guy should be a huge red flag.

Manafort and Gates have reportedly pled not guilty on all charges. They always plead guilty at arraignment. Unless they had a deal ahead of time.

Yes, and Popadopolis (sp) has pled guilty, so it will be interesting to see what they're getting out of him as far as testimony and against whom. I’ve heard rumblings that the people referred to in the footnote ate Manafort and Gates?

Swamp? Are sealed cases common at that level? Ie would sealed cases between P and Manafort possibly be from Mueller? Or just as likely anywhere else...?

I'm familiar with Seth Abramson from Twitter. He's been on this mess and quite informative. When AP said Manafort and his cohort had pled not guilty, I was really surprised! Seth said today Manafort's bail is $10million and none of it can come from "the fruits of his nefarious dealings". That should be interesting.

Pleading guilty goes straight to sentencing... which would be the deals swamp mentioned.

You live in a fucking fantasy land... What ever. If I remember you live in a red state! Thank God! Don't bring God into it. Not when you support a party that gives zero f*cks about helping the poor and the needy, a party that is led by a man who has been married three times, who has cheated on his wive(s), who has failed to pay his taxes, who has stolen from and screwed over hard working people. You don't know a damn thing about God because if you did you would die of shame at being a Republican.

trump continues to tank in the polls: 33% approval rate. The poll was conducted before the announcement today regarding the charges and arraignment of Manafort and Gates. Poll: Trump hits all-time low in job approvalPresident Trump's job approval rating has dropped to a new low, according to the most recent Gallup tracking poll. Just 33 percent of respondents in the Gallup daily survey approve of the job Trump is doing as president. Sixty-two percent of respondents said they disapprove of Trump's job performance. The Gallup survey is based on a three-day rolling average. It is conducted among 1,500 adults and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. Trump's 33 percent approval rating is his lowest since taking office, according to Gallup. Complete article here: Poll: Trump hits all-time low in job approval

Swamp? Are sealed cases common at that level? Ie would sealed cases between P and Manafort possibly be from Mueller? Or just as likely anywhere else...? Yes. It's standard. To be charged you need either a direct arrest or an indictment. Every grand jury investigation results in a sealed indictment, not an arrest if someone is going to get charged
