Eggs. People refuse to believe I hate eggs. I'm 34 years old, I am confident at this point it's not because I haven't had them cooked properly. Then I found out Guy Fieri hates eggs and I was no longer alone in the universe.

Red wine. I only drink rose and sometimes white... does this make me basic or not, I can't keep it straight also don't like beer except Shipyard pumpkinhead.. which reminds me, I haven't gotten my one sixpack for the fall yet, I should do that. I do like yoga and crafts... probably on the plus side of basic. Hate country music, I've tried to like some crossover bands but just can't get behind it.

Oh, know the movie Princess Bride that basically every friend of mine/nerd I know is in love with? I finally watched it several years ago and... meh. Don't really care for it. Also don't care much for Disney movies.

hold up, when did yoga become a "basic girl" thing? Cuzzzzzzz, I am NOT basic. Yes I do enjoy, yoga, brunch, sweet wines, leggings, fall activities and pumpkin spice (not lattes tho), but I am NOT basic!

can't do red wine either - it's too bitter and makes me very sleepy.

Being pregnant. I am honestly surprised I didn't punch someone after the umpteenth time of being asked "Don't you just LOVE being pregnant?" I'd think someone was weird if they asked me that - that's just weird. Being pregnant is a means to an end. It would be like asking me if I loved the plane ride on my way to a vacation.

I loved loved LOVED being pregnant. If it wasn't for my age, I would have seriously considered being a surrogate.
But I never asked anyone about their feeling on pregnancy.

I asked people how they were feeling during their pregnancy, but I don't think I ever assumed that other people thought it was as great as I did.

PC gaming. I'm not really into gaming in general, but at least with console games you can still interact with the people in the room with you.
Running. I never got runners high, it was murder on my shins, and I'm just slow. Strangely I do miss running 5k races though.
League bowling. I like recreational bowling well enough, but the every week for 3 hours a night, and the pace is so fast you don't even really get to socialize much with your team. I'd rather just go out for dinner/drinks once a week.
Comedy movies. I don't know if I'm losing my sense of humor as I age, or if I've just tired of the formula but 95% of them just make me cringe.

Then I found out Guy Fieri hates eggs and I was no longer alone in the universe. Eggs should be used to bake wonderfully delicious things. On their own, yuck.

I don’t get it. What’s not to like? Saddle sores? Burning, tingling feet? Numb hands? Sore neck? Cramps in your quads? Sunburn? Sweat dripping off your nose? Traffic? Playing tag with Redneck Cadillacs, 18 wheelers, and inattentive drivers? How your cellulite looks in those thin, skin tight cycling shorts?

You have not met my SIL. She also asked me literally two hours after I had been discharged if DH and I were going to get to work having another when we got home. She wasn't joking. MIL heard her and it was pretty awesome to listen to MIL lay into her.

I love most of the strongly flavored alcohols - like Scotch and Gin - but feel like the only person on the planet that finds Vodka highly objectionable. So strange to me that people claim it's flavorless. It is NOT flavorless, it tastes like rubbing alcohol that's been mixed with mud then filtered through dirty socks. Nasty. That's probably why when I make homemade infusions like Limoncello I don't use Vodka as a base. Everclear makes a much better finished drink. I agree that vodka has a flavor that is not good alone. It usually goes away with a good mixer, though, such as cranberry juice. I haven't had it in years, but I remember Vox vodka not having a flavor.

If needed tell people you're allergic and they give you the shits.

Then he goes and does something like providing food for the first responders and residents affected by the fires in California and I am forced to accept the fact that some of the people I don't like are not always or entirely 1-dimensional (just some of them, though).
I still think he's annoying.

Have you had spanakopita? I looked it up. It's a Greek spinach pie. That's not a little spinach. That's a lot. I'm sure it is lovely. You may have my piece. I insist. Thank you so much! It's beyond delicious!

Coffee and any liquor I can smell which limits me to Vodka! I can't smell it when mixed with Orange juice or Bloody Mary.
