Do you think it was the son of the homeowner? Because it seemed like the dog might have known whoever it was.

Reading the linked article doesn't give me the impression it was a family member taking the bike.

Golden retrievers are pretty darn friendly.

Thanks for the jokes. I needed them today.

We had to say good bye to our drop dead gorgeous girl. She was the last of the 2nd generation. It’s going to be weird only having 2 dogs. She had a good morning though with her daughter and grandson. I got some good pictures of them interacting.

You know it will come eventually but I’d hoped for more then 10 years.

Tough letting go.

In June, three of my six indoor cats were euthanized. Two of them were 18 year old litter mates. All had medical issues. Really tough putting the two senior sisters down as they had been with me since they were kittens.

So sorry about your cats. It shows how well you care for them that they lived for 18 years.

This picture was taken of the two of them two years ago. It was the day after their other litter mate sister died at home. I found the two of them in the bathroom sink. 

The two were euthanized at the same time. The orange and white cat had the more severe medical issues which needed immediate euthanization. The gray and white cat had lesser issues but would have required euthanasia in a month or two. Plus I wanted them to be together as they were going to be cremated and their ashes spread where ever these animal cremation places deposit them.
