As an added bonus, when I was cleaning his ears he shook his head and got ear wax/cleaner all over Thing 2. It was fabulous.

Okay. As soon as Moon gets to it, I've sent a picture of the mini Australian shepherd with Santa. Aww, such a cute fur baby! Looks like he can't wait to get loose and chase some elves or shred some packages...ready to do something!

I have special dog ice cream for him, too. ❤

Well, my baby has an ear infection. The vet told me to clean his ears and gave me drops. Poor puppy. On the other hand, he farted as he walked past me just now and it smelled like two weeks worth of shit so I guess the back end is working ok. He's so gross. 😂

Today is daycare day. I'm hoping for a very sleepy puppy this evening.

My girl goes to daycare. It has been invaluable for her socialisation skills ....She mixes well with all sorts of dogs. We Flyball race at the weekends and it is a Godsend to have such a chilled out dog.

Pic is probably a little deceiving...we expect her to be between 60-70lbs (based on her weight at 4 months). There was one calculation I did that put her at 75lbs. She put on 2.5lbs/week the last couple of weeks, which I think is higher than what it had been, so maybe she'll be bigger then we figured.

I have two dogs. Tucker is a six-year old border collie/pit mix (although if anyone asks, I say Boxer mix) and Carter is now a two year old Great Dane/French Mastiff mix. I love these guys more than most people. <-- and here they are!

We Flyball race at the weekends and it is a Godsend to have such a chilled out dog. It's been really good for Jackson too. He plays well with all the dogs and has some friends. He plays nice with the dogs at the dog park too. We don't have a big yard and he's a big dog, so daycare, the dog park, and long walks are crucial. Otherwise he gets in trouble because he's got so much puppy energy to get out.

I used to have dogs. I love having a dog. One problem, having a dog is like having a kid. So cats it is, for us, from here on out. With all our daytrips, or 2 day trips, the DW and I just don't feel it's fair to the dog to leave it alone for long periods. The cat lives mostly outside and has the side use of keeping the rodent population down around the chicken pen.

It's Spring, and apparently my fancy turns to men and puppies.
Saw another interesting dog today outside my Chiro's office. A female mix of Siberian Husky and German Shephard. There's a really cool service dog in training coming to where I work - a mix of pit bull and lab. She's amazing and I'd be happy to have one.
Now I just need an apartment or place to live that would let me have one. I love working dogs and most I envision, have me owning a home again with a decent sized yard.

It's her avatar. Maybe she'll post it in a post in a bigger size. Its hard to appreciate their wonderful dogness in such a small picture.
(OK, my fancy is turning to cool cars and houses too. The weather is really nice today, if windy.)

zibazinski - I cannot remember which thread it was where you told us about your cat with the flatulence problem, so I am posting this here. But was your cat's problem anything like this dog's?
