Sorry - I forgot. You can only make up untrue complaints about bundle here. And you are only welcome to say that this is the most perfect and visually appealing website, ever!
Go ahead - ban me for life because I hate blinking avatars.

People have been complaining that bundle is difficult to navigate and that the layout isn't conducive to use as a message board. No one's complained that Bundle's colors are too dull and boring.

A lot of people are complaining about the "look and feel" and how "busy" bundle is.

Which are layout issues, not color issues.

Sorry - I forgot. You can only make up untrue complaints about bundle here. And you are only welcome to say that this is the most perfect and visually appealing website, ever! Go ahead - ban me for life because I hate blinking avatars. i don't recall anyone saying you couldn't complain about bundle here, or that you couldn't make REASONABLE REQUESTS regarding the appearance of this place. it has been posted how you can disable smileys and avatars and there was no mention by any moderator here regarding you being banned because you would want to do so. EFCO was making a tongue in cheek joke. but apparently your sense of humor is lost somewhere. no one has ever said this was the best looking website out there and i don't plan to.. but quite frankly you are very nit-picky and you have already made up your mind that you don't like it here. that's fine. you're entitled to your opinion. perhaps you should go create your own utopia.

I just asked if there was a skin that had less colors than the default. I think that is a legit question. But instead of an answer like "not yet" or try the skin called "Plain Jane, Blue" I got a tirad about how I was making an unreasonable request.
Sheesh! I turned off all the avatars and symbols because someone answered that question. It is better now.
Sorry for asking. I thought it was a reasonable question that maybe possibly one or more people would like to know the answer to. But, I guess it was an all out offensive onslaught. I retract.

well see, your idea of plain jane blue apparently is much plainer even than what we have at this time and that's why i was asking. did you try any of the other skins that you can select in your profile?

i guess my point is that we're still creating and adding skins, so that people have a variety of things they can choose from. but we have to code them ourselves and it takes time. i like virgil's silver personally.. that's what i'm wearing..

Hello Everyone. MoonBeam And I have been Working on Some SKINS (backgrounds) And we have several Done so far. The Idea with these is to allow Everyone To make the Site feel More Personal. The Most recent Addition to the SKINS stable is one I am Calling Peaceful Vista. You Can Change The Skin By Going To You PROFILE - Clicking ON MODIFY PROFILE and scrolling down, about halfway down there is a Box that says CHOOSE SKIN, Pick one you like and Click On SAVE CHANGES at the Bottom of the Page. Once you Navigate to another area of the Site the change will "snap" in. thanks for the notice I wasn't aware I could make this change! PV looks good...I'll rock this till my next Avatar change. ok-just wanted to add I don't see the "save changes" but see modify and I think Moon 1 and Moon 3 are the same color purple.

Different strokes for different folks. Makes the world go round. Would it not be boring if everyone was green, 5'9", same hair, face, etc./

I'm almost afraid to ask - but How do you get the quote to have the information above it, like in Max Power's post. When I do it, I get the quote, and then I get a link that says "Read more" and has a hyperlink.

To quote the specific person, look above the right corner of their post and click the 'quote' button. that puts the box around it. i think you get the 'read more' link when you copy/paste. oh and i have 2 monochrome skins for you to look at..

Moon your comment "i'll look into that, ", I was on the MSN game forum for years, where you play Back Gammon, Spades, Hearts etc, and we had a great lively forum there and the suggestions and ideas that would come out of there, it was as some folks were designing a way to go to the outer planets. Naturally any replys and applications of any of those wish list suggestions were never commented on or done, ever, and here you are , the baby isn't even a week old yet, or if so not by much more, coming up with new options and actually listening to some requests and considering trying to find a way to see if they can work..impressive. Naturally I know how much your earning on all this, but still , impressive.

Ditto ... I'm testing out the different skin colors, and right now I'm on VSilver and starting to really like this one as a possible keeper. It makes the other colors & symbols more visible and easy to spot more quickly.

I've already apologized and retracted my statements. I did consider deleting my posts, but I've always wondered if it came across as childish to do so. I will gladly delete all the questions and statements I have posted here, if that would help to heal the situation. I really feel bad that my statements sounded so bad. I honestly was asking how to turn off the animation and get a more soothing color palette. It did come across crass, and I'm very sorry for that. As it turns out, I was in the beginning phases of a migraine and ended up having partial vision loss for about an hour today. Although I always find the flashing avatars and scrolling tag lines as distracting, I do believe they actually caused me physical pain today, and I am very, very sorry.
Please let me know if I should delete all my posts and if I have eaten enough crow to be welcome here.

P.S. I am absolutely terrified to post right now. I can't believe after 10+ years in this community that I feel like such a horrible outcast. I've seen other posts that say that the mood of this board is different. I'm horrified that the same group of people move from one area to another and all of a sudden things change.
I guess it is the old addage - never go to a second location.

dezil -- let it go -- no need to aggravate the situation

oh and thyme, if you are so inclined, try on the "beige 1" skin in your profile and let me know if it's muted enough..

Thyme, we all have yucky days. I'd send you a hug, but I don't see the emote so I'll send you a heart. Hope you are feeling better. The changes stink and this is actually the first time the communities had NO WHERE to go. We had choices before, but not this time and it's been difficult for a lot of people who are use to the 'neighborhood'. By the way after I found out we could fiddle around with the background I changed mine to a light orchid/mauve. The white background bothers my eyes too. Take care, kiddo.
