I just got a Fitbit Charge 2 a few months ago. I love mine. It helps keep me motivated.

I forgot the fitness club office was open for 4 hours today so on my lunch I paid for a month. I'm going to try my hardest to fit exercising back into my busy life.

Crap. I had it on the charger last night. It just told me its battery is low. I’ve left my house until tomorrow. That is weird. I usually just charge mine when I am showering. That prevents overcharging, but keeps it pretty full.

The first time I charged mine I didn't have the charger clamped on all the way apparently because mine didn't charge well.

The first time I charged mine I didn't have the charger clamped on all the way apparently because mine didn't charge well. When you put it on the charger... a battery should appear on the screen. That is how you know it is in place.

That's what I realized after it wouldn't charge. The battery wasn't showing up. I got up and went to the fitness center first thing this morning before I got sidetracked with anything else. So at least I got my workout in. I only did 35 minutes on the treadmill and a few upper body weight exercises on a machine. But after I eat I am going to take the dog for a walk, work on decluttering, do laundry, and then do my walking wii game.

Thank you! I saw the actual connection part this time and tried to line that up. I waited for the battery symbol, and since it didn’t show up, I knew to adjust the charger. It can charge while I sit at my kitchen table and make a list for the afternoon.

Also, roasted a chicken... pulled off the meat and am making bone broth. Making a healthyish chicken cottage pie tonight with alllllllll the veggies.

Weekly check in
Hit step goal by 2900 steps. Did 30 minutes of strength training. Eating - not good. Never tracked. Weight up less than 1 pound.
This week step goal 75000. At least 30 minutes of strength training. This past week made me realize I need to get back in the habit of doing strength training/yoga.
Hoping to do better with eating. I usually do well on Monday and then it goes downhill from there.

Missed the step goal by 2k. Not surprising considering I had a 3 hour drive yesterday and tackled a task that required butt in seat at laptop for several hours.
This week's goals are to drink more water and do more walking during the day.

Ugh, weekend eating awful. Step counts not great, but for the work week last week I got over 50k again, so that's good. I really don't want to be up at WW on Thursday so I'm buckling down on the food this week...

I did yoga this morning and walked/squated/high knee'd in place yesterday while watching GoT. My eating is out of control though - eating too much and of the wrong stuff. Like I thought I was having chest pains the other day. I think it's time to cut the sugar cord for real now or at the very least DRASTICALLY reduce consumption. I haven't had any since last night and I'm alright. It's hard here bc of all the junk but I'm gong to avoid it.

Did 3 miles a Leslie Sansone video and thought I was going to die. Then did my 30 minute Burn video tonight. Not as painful. Gads. I had a minor case of the nibbles last night but since I don't eat most of the day, I don't think I did too much damage. I don't eat when I get up in the afternoon and I don't always eat after I do my workout so eh. Hungry but not hungry.

Second day going to the fitness center. I was going to go to my moms to take her on errands then exercise but when I do it that way I never get to exercise. So today I exercised first and it makes me feel good that I got it done.

I've started back today doing my plank exercises, this goes along with me getting up earlier as well. It's do something else other than sit here looking at the computer screen, so plank exercises it is.
