the exercising portion isn't my problem - it's the eating/food. I am still slightly off kilter because of the Friend drama from 6ish weeks ago. At the risk of sounding crude, I guess I'm using food to fill the void that was previously being filled in.... other... ways.... But now I feel tired most of the time and the whole work sitch isn't helping me either.

Holy moley, this friend of mine from high school who's a marathon runner just broke a world record for best time running a marathon with a stroller - she runs w/ her 3yo! Has to be verified by the Guinness people but wow!! Such a badass - inspires me want to get out and jog w/ the baby (I'd be lucky to complete 1 mile let alone 26 haha)

I thought I could start slow with a 5K which is 3 miles and work my way up. I don't really run like that though and haven't been super motivated.

Got my new cheapy Amazon band for the fitbit, back in business! It did log a good amount of steps for me in my pocket Saturday though. Feels good to be able to wear it again... have to be very strict on my eating this week, first few days of WW did not go well since DH brought home 15 godamn big Kane's donuts from his weddings this weekend. I did restrain myself though, I only ate like 2.5 the whole weekend. ooooooooo KANE'S DONUTS AND YOU DIDN"T CALL ME?!?!?!?!?! What the hell is wrong with you?!?!?!?!?!

flamingo Nice step total yesterday. Way to go. Thanks! I had some crappy step days last week and Knee Deep in Water Chloe was surging ahead, so I spent yesterday trying to out do her 😉😂 That you did!!! Nice!

Not horrendous—basically I shouldn’t have had the second chocolate covered Oreo. 🙄 Do you add your exercise into MyFitnessPal? I want to be able to meet my calorie goal without acknowledging the exercise, but it seems futile.

Knee Deep in Water Chloe, when I tracked calories, I put my exercise into MFP. On days I exercise, there’s no way I could just eat 1600 calories. Exercise makes me ravenous! I’d go over every time. But when I add in my exercise calories, so I could eat those calories also, I did much better at staying at my limit.

They seriously pushed me but I finished them. When I used to jog regularly it was usually 1.5-2 miles I could do reasonably well, and I'm definitely not fast by any means. If I can start with a mile or so again and work my way up to a 5k again someday I'll feel pretty good, it's just finding the time to do it. And it's going to be dark when I get home by like a week from now or whenever DST is. occasional mornings/weekends will probably be the best I can do.

I decided to weigh myself just for kicks. I'm no longer 158 and am at 162. Oh well. I don't feel like my clothes are any tighter. Maybe the arm exercise is paying off.

I try to stick to 1500 cals.

I know this week is going to be absolutely suck for getting any workouts or steps in. My schedule has been rearranged due to a coworker being on vacation and I have to leave earlier now to get through rush hour traffic on 93. Ugh. Not happy about this.

I have a WII game that I bought years ago. It is called "Walk it Out". You basically just walk in place to play the game and if you aren't walking your person in the game doesn't walk. Sometimes I move around to get some other movement in. It is the exercise I like the most. Sometimes after work I am just too tired to get on the treadmill but I can do the WII game and still get in exercise. I have also dug out my gazelle that I haven't used in years and started using it again.

The other thing I do when I am too tired to get on my treadmill is just walk around the house at a steady pace. This summer I wanted to start training for a half marathon and then run one of Disney's half marathons but with taking care of my parents and working full time I didn't get around to it. I just need to do it if I want to do it. I could train for 3 days a week. Hopefully on those 3 days a week I can find an hour to train but who knows. I start out training and then something happens with my parents then I am off it for weeks and lose interest.

I'm on some new meds which will help with my motivation I hope. In the meantime, I try to get to the gym 2-3 times a week, I love the endorphin rush. It keeps me sane. I used to go 5 days a week like clockwork, but my schedule is all loopy now and I just fit it in where I can. Like others, my biggest issue is my diet. I count my carbs, but I haven't done it long enough to make it a habit. If I could stick to it for 21 days I'm sure I could see results.

Got over 11k steps yesterday, so that's great! today it's raining so it won't be as good, but it's ok. I can even do some treadmill at home later if I'm awake enough.
Yesterday I ate soooo well all day because I had dinner plans at Cheesecake Factory later - I added my WW points up carefully and saved like 20pts for dinner, and the WW app has a bunch of the skinny menu meals from there in it. However, friends call me and say they went around the corner to a different place with no line... which has no meals in the WW app, of course lol. I ate like three chunks of delicious bread and oil and one of the 3 enchiladas in the meal I got and just found a 20pt meal to track for it. Finishing the meal for lunch right now and have to be good for the rest of the day. Weigh-in is tomorrow again and I'd like to see at least a pound or two improvement - despite last night and the weekend donuts I controlled myself pretty well.
Christmas is 2 months from today - my achievable goal is to be down to 170 by Christmas, 165 if I do really well. I set a goal for myself last spring w/ the WW and reached it by Easter, so hoping I can stick to it again this time!

Oooh, I need to re-watch Stranger Things before starting the new season, I could go on the treadmill while I watch! Just have to boot DH out of the den and make him hang out in the living room instead where I usually am.

I do this a lot watching tv. Especially during winter of bad weather. Usually 2 steps forward 2 steps back. I forget I am even walking most of the time. Sidenote. i figured out why my back kept getting better and then hurting again. My desk chair at home. I work from home on Wednesdays (and usually work some on saturdays) and the chair kills my hips/ lower back. I was fine this morning and then mid day it all hurt! Argh!

I've started doing some Leslie Sansone moves while watching my Sunday night shows, only night I'm home to watch. Saturday night I do my workout later evening/night anyway. I stand in the hall here at work and do some leg stretches using the kneewall as a barre. I may be fat but I'm also flexible. I have been having some pains as well and figured out it's my couch. The cushion on the side I sit on is a little too well sat upon. Unfortunately they aren't interchangeable so I've started sitting on the floor doing stretches as well as moving around in place.

My arms hurt today. I think I set the weight machine too heavy. I put it on 40 pounds and since it was easy to pull down, I upped it to 50.

Today was a very stressful day at work so I ate a candy bar and rye chips and drank a soda and now I am regretting it. They had no nutritional value so now my calories will be over the top and it was just emotional eating. Now I feel like I need to eat hardly nothing for the rest of the day. And I wanted to exercise but I feel exhausted so maybe later this evening I will feel like exercising a bit.

I just got done exercising because I knew if I told myself I would do it later tonight I wouldn't. Now I can sit down and relax and read tonight and not feel guilty.
